Readable Markdown	WESTON, Wis. (WSAW) - The boys’ basketball postseason dialed the intensity up a notch on Friday, with several teams playing their first games of the tournament. D.C. Everest and Marathon both came away winners on Friday. Beginning with Everest, the top-seeded Evergreens beat \#16 Wisconsin Rapids 86-62. Everest advances to the regional finals, where they’ll host \#9 Neenah on Saturday. In D4, \#1 Marathon ran past \#8 Colby 80-42. The Red Raiders will be back at home on Saturday, hosting \#5 Spencer in the regional finals. Elsewhere, in D2, \#6 Merrill had their season come to an end, losing to \#3 Menomonie 56-34.
