What is Black Friday?
What is this shopping extravaganza all about then? It originated in the States, with a day of unheard-of discounts lining department stores (it’s thought that Macy’s was the first to take part in the day). Decades later, the tradition grew and shoppers would swarm outside stores with their eyes set on a widescreen TV.
Fast forward to today, and it has become a popular online shopping event – with brands from Charlotte Tilbury to

When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday falls on Friday 29th November this year; however, many retailers launched discounts before the big day. We're hoping for deals to carry on through the weekend and into Cyber Monday too, which falls on 2nd December.

## What is Black Friday?
What is this shopping extravaganza all about then? It originated in the States, with a day of unheard-of discounts lining department stores (it’s thought that Macy’s was the first to take part in the day). Decades later, the tradition grew and shoppers would swarm outside stores with their eyes set on a widescreen TV.
Fast forward to today, and it has become a popular online shopping event – with brands from Charlotte Tilbury to [Nike](https://www.womenshealthmag.com/uk/gym-wear/a29203515/nike-black-friday/) taking part. And, thanks to the big wide web, you can now make the most of this day from the comfort of your sofa.
## When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday falls on Friday 29th November this year; however, many retailers launched discounts before the big day. We're hoping for deals to carry on through the weekend and into Cyber Monday too, which falls on 2nd December.

## What is Black Friday?
What is this shopping extravaganza all about then? It originated in the States, with a day of unheard-of discounts lining department stores (it’s thought that Macy’s was the first to take part in the day). Decades later, the tradition grew and shoppers would swarm outside stores with their eyes set on a widescreen TV.
