Day Use Fee required.\nBicentennial Park: Provo\nBoardwalk Trail behind the grass and playground area through wetlands.\nRed Hills Desert Garden: St. George\nFree to visit these lovely desert gardens with lots of fun little paths.\nMiller Bird Refuge & Nature Park: Salt Lake City\nOne of our favorite hikes in the city. Shady, bridges, birds, flowers, more.\nEccles Wildlife Center Nature Trail: Farmington\nThis trail is flat and easy through the wetlands. We always see wildlife here.\nGreat Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve: Layton\nBoardwalk through part of the Great Salt Lake wetlands.\nHidden Falls: Big Cottonwood Canyon\n5 minute hike to a fun waterfall. We have done this trail in all seasons.\nCascade Springs: Alpine Loop\nPaved or boardwalk the entire way. Lots of beautiful places to explore.\nAmerican Fork Canyon Nature Trail\nShort trail that begins and ends with bridges. Info signs along the way.\nTemple Quarry Trail: Little Cottonwood Canyon\nSuper short and paved with great views of the mountains and a few info signs.\nGrotto Falls: Nebo Loop\nQuick, easy hike with little bridge crossings and a great waterfall at the end.\nLagoon Trail: Farmington\nThe Farmington Creek trail has two sections we love that walk behind Lagoon. Shady and paved.\nBridal Veil Falls: Provo Canyon\nThis trail can be a few steps or a few minutes, but both spots lead to this great waterfall.\nDripping Rock: Spanish Fork\nThis paved trail is flat and leads to a unique dripping rock. You can see the drips from the trail, but it’s better if you scramble down the hill.\nDevils Kitchen: Nebo Loop\nShort, paved trail to hoodoos along the Nebo Loop.\nObservation Point Trail: Little Cottonwood Canyon\nThis trail is beautiful in Summer and Fall. Starts behind Snowbird and is paved.\nBear River Migratory Refuge Nature Loop: Brigham City\nThe paved trail at the bird refuge walks through wetlands and ponds. Shorter and longer loops.\nPoison Creek Trail: Park City\nThis trail runs parallel to Main Street and has some fun stops like shoe park, musical playground, and more.\nCedar Canyon Walking Trail: Cedar City\nA paved trail that leads to a man made waterfall that is great for all ages.\nRendezvous Park: Logan\nFlat, easy trail that walks along the Logan River. Walk as long or short as you’d like.\nMehraban Wetlands Trail: Draper\nThere are two little ponds to walk around. Lots of ducks and turtles.\nSilver Lake: Big Cottonwood Canyon\nOne of our favorite trails in Utah. Easy walk around the lake with great chances to see wildlife!\nTony Grove: Logan Canyon\nAnother favorite trail. So beautiful with the wildflowers in summer. Fee required.\nBeus Pond: Ogden\nWe love this one in the winter because it is flat and easy, but it is great in all seasons.\nMaple Lake: Nebo Loop\nThis beautiful trail is a simple walk around the lake. Provo River Falls: Mirror Lake Highway Mostly an overlook, but easy paved walkways to enjoy multiple waterfalls. There are some stairs. Payson Lakes: Nebo Loop Flat trail around the lake. Paved. Day Use Fee required. Bicentennial Park: Provo Boardwalk Trail behind the grass and playground area through wetlands. Red Hills Desert Garden: St. George Free to visit these lovely desert gardens with lots of fun little paths. Miller Bird Refuge & Nature Park: Salt Lake City One of our favorite hikes in the city. Shady, bridges, birds, flowers, more. Eccles Wildlife Center Nature Trail: Farmington This trail is flat and easy through the wetlands. We always see wildlife here. These trails are perfect for anyone who is short on time or needs an extra easy hiking trail. They are also great for young kids and families.
