Rock climbing and bouldering are excellent for building both strength and stamina – you’ll be gripping onto the smallest holds and hauling yourself upwards, one move at a time. Despite being solo on the wall, these sports are actually quite social. Fellow climbers on the ground can offer tips, cheer you on, and celebrate your sends – making it a fun and motivating way to work out with friends. We’ve rounded up the best rock climbing and bouldering gyms in Singapore, so grab your climbing shoes and chalk – or rent them from the gyms – and make your way to the walls.Â
RECOMMENDED:
The best gyms in Singapore
and
the best hiking trails and spots in Singapore
Fit Bloc
Fit Bloc currently has two outlets: Depot Heights and Kent Ridge. The latter is a firm favourite among bouldering enthusiasts, with three spacious bouldering sections and a high wall for top-rope and lead climbing. Routes here are generally beginner-friendly, making it accessible for newcomers, but seasoned climbers can still expect a challenge thanks to some steep overhangs. Beyond climbing, the Kent Ridge location also features a weights room, treadmills, saunas, and even a swimming pool – and entry passes grant access to all these facilities.
Single entry passes start from $28.
BFF Climb
BFF Climb is known for offering some of the most competitive rates in the local climbing scene. Off-peak season passes are priced at $70.85 per month, granting access to all three outlets – Bendemeer, Our Tampines Hub, and yo:HA Commercial @ Tampines. The gym features an extensive grading system that ranges from zero to 14, with each level increasing in difficulty at a manageable pace. Climbers can expect a smooth progression through the grades without any sharp jumps in challenge – ideal for both beginners and those looking to level up gradually.Â
Single entry passes start from $23.98.
Boulder+
We may not have many outdoor natural rock climbing places in Singapore, but the top out boulders at Boulder+’s Aperia Mall location come pretty close to the real deal. Aside from the unique arch centre wall, the gym also features a 60 degree spray wall that offers a greater variety of hold sizes and shapes, an endurance corner and shower facilities for post-climb. Boulder+ also opened another enormous 22,000-square-feet location at Chevrons, with a 70 degree roof, competition wall, exercise corner, and in-house cafĂ©.Â
Single entry passes start from $28.
Z Vertigo Boulder Gym
Tucked away in Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, Z Vertigo Boulder Gym is on the slightly smaller side, but entry passes are affordable at just $18 per day. Expect a higher difficulty level here, with a mix of dynamic and technical routes that challenge both balance and body coordination. That’s not to say that novices should shy away from this gym as there are beginner-friendly routes to try too. The gym has a maximum capacity of 25 climbers, and only walk-ins are allowed. If you’re planning to visit during peak hours after 6pm, check the live counter via the website to see the current number of pax in the gym.Â
Single entry passes start from $18.

We’ve rounded up the best rock climbing and bouldering gyms in Singapore, so grab your climbing shoes and chalk – or rent them from the gyms – and make your way to the walls.

[Fit Bloc](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/fit-bloc)
Fit Bloc currently has two outlets: Depot Heights and Kent Ridge. The latter is a firm favourite among bouldering enthusiasts, with three spacious bouldering sections and a high wall for top-rope and lead climbing. Routes here are generally beginner-friendly, making it accessible for newcomers, but seasoned climbers can still expect a challenge thanks to some steep overhangs. Beyond climbing, the Kent Ridge location also features a weights room, treadmills, saunas, and even a swimming pool – and entry passes grant access to all these facilities.
*Single entry passes start from \$28.*
[BFF Climb](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/bff-climb)
BFF Climb is known for offering some of the most competitive rates in the local climbing scene. Off-peak season passes are priced at \$70.85 per month, granting access to all three outlets – Bendemeer, Our Tampines Hub, and yo:HA Commercial @ Tampines. The gym features an extensive grading system that ranges from zero to 14, with each level increasing in difficulty at a manageable pace. Climbers can expect a smooth progression through the grades without any sharp jumps in challenge – ideal for both beginners and those looking to level up gradually.
*Single entry passes start from \$23.98.*
[Boulder+](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/boulder)
We may not have many outdoor natural rock climbing places in Singapore, but the top out boulders at Boulder+’s Aperia Mall location come pretty close to the real deal. Aside from the unique arch centre wall, the gym also features a 60 degree spray wall that offers a greater variety of hold sizes and shapes, an endurance corner and shower facilities for post-climb. Boulder+ also opened another enormous 22,000-square-feet location at Chevrons, with a 70 degree roof, competition wall, exercise corner, and in-house café.
*Single entry passes start from \$28.*
[Z Vertigo Boulder Gym](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/z-vertigo-boulder-gym)
Tucked away in Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, Z Vertigo Boulder Gym is on the slightly smaller side, but entry passes are affordable at just \$18 per day. If you’re planning to visit during peak hours after 6pm, check the live counter via the website to see the current number of pax in the gym.
*Single entry passes start from \$18.*
[Project Send](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/project-send)
Located in The Esplanade Mall, Project Send spans over 5,200 square feet, and comprises over 70 routes covering 12 climbing grades. What's unique about Project Send is its focus on holistic training. You can sign up for strength training, mobility classes, and mental wellness lessons – all to help you become the best climber you can be. And when all's said and done, you can head over to in-house Beta Café for fresh bakes, including the lemon meringue and blueberry tart, espresso tiramisu and dark chocolate and pistachio tart.
*Single entry passes start from \$26.*
[Climb@T3](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/climb-at-t3)
New to the game? Get all clued up at Climb@T3, managed by The Rock School, where beginners of all ages are welcome – even those as young as four. You can choose to level up your skills with the help of its team via classes, climbing parties, and camps. Opt for any of its passes, which allows you to climb independently on the walls – there are 25 lanes of top-rope wall, 10 lanes of lead wall, and a free-standing 4.5-metre-tall bouldering area. Climbing routes are refreshed weekly so you’ll have a new challenge every week.
*Adult passes start from \$19.*
[Ground Up Climbing](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/ground-up-climbing)
Ground Up Climbing is home to 10 top rope lanes and 29 auto-belay lanes and a bouldering gym, making it an ace spot for indoor rock climbing, outdoor lead climbing, and bouldering. Sample the sport with a taster session, or take up the SNCS Rock Climbing Level 1 course to learn how to belay and climb with your friends. When you're ready for a challenge, take on the outdoor lead walls which range from expert levels 5Cs to 7Bs and feature one of the hardest overhangs in Singapore.
*Day passes start from \$24.*
[Climb Central](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/climb-central)
You don’t need prior experience to scale the walls at Climb Central. The gym has five locations around Singapore, including Novena Square, Funan Mall, i12 Katong, Safra Choa Chu Kang, and Kallang Wave Mall. The Kallang outlet is arguably the most popular location, home to the tallest indoor air-conditioned rock face standing at over 16 metres high. Advanced climbing safety systems are in place to ensure even the most inexperienced climbers (as long as you’re above the age of five) can clamber to new heights in a safe and controlled environment.
*Adult day passes start from \$27.25.*
[Boulder Movement](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/boulder-movement)
Boulder Movement positions itself as a beginner-friendly, bouldering-only facility with over 30 metres of wall, lengthwise. There are four locations in Singapore – Bugis, Downtown, Rochor and Tai Seng. Walls are no higher than four metres – which sounds short, but is certainly high enough to experience the thrill of climbing without any safety gear. First-timers can join the Introduction to Bouldering group class to get acquainted with the sport, while pros can join the technical advancement classes to refine their upper and lower body techniques, improve pull strength and read routes with more precision.
*Day passes start from \$35.*
[Kinetics Climbing](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/kids/kinetics-climbing)
Whether you prefer bouldering or climbing top-rope, Kinetics Climbing has it all. Choose from a variety of unique walls and test out different climbing styles and techniques, or sign up for the beginner-friendly SNCS Level 1 course and learn how to belay safely, gain equipment knowledge, and become proficient in basic climbing techniques. Kinetics Climbing also has an in-house shop to buy all your gear and accessories, including belaying devices and climbing shoes.
*Day passes start from \$21.*
[Oyeyo Boulder Home](https://www.timeout.com/singapore/sport-and-fitness/oyeyo-boulder-home)
For a peaceful climb, look no further than Oyeyo Boulder Home. The venue is located near Little India MRT station, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cosy climbing gym is decked with 38 routes, obstacles, and walls to amp up the fun factor and add a mix of variety to your session.
*Entry passes start from \$20.*
