Reported damage, mechanical issues and/or modifications on your vehicle are not accounted for in your trade-in estimate. They will be accounted for during the final offer stage once your order has been placed. - Can I roll all my negative equity into my new vehicle financing agreement? Your ability to include some or all of the negative equity in a new financing agreement depends on the specific bank and the amount of negative equity you want to include. Current indirect Tesla financing partners have the flexibility to finance amounts exceeding 100% loan-to-value (LTV) on credit approval. However, it is important to note that financing over 100% LTV may lead to an increase in your Annual Percentage Rate (APR). Any financing request exceeding 100% LTV can be applied to cover taxes and negative equity. In states where upfront taxes are not collected, financing over 100% LTV can be exclusively directed toward covering negative equity. - What photos of my trade-in vehicle do I need to submit? We may ask you to submit various photos to help us evaluate the vehicle's condition. You may be asked to provide: - 4 clear photos in the daylight of the exterior - 1 of the entire driver side of the vehicle - 1 of the entire reverse side of the vehicle - 1 of the entire passenger side of the vehicle - 1 of the entire front side of the vehicle - 1 photo of the interior of the vehicle In addition to the above, you must also submit clear photos of any vehicle damage. All photos must be taken outdoors in daylight. Photos taken inside of a garage are not accepted. - Can I trade in my vehicle if I’m still actively leasing? Yes but some lessors impose restrictions on allowing active leases to be bought out. Below is a list of some of these lessors that no longer allow third-party buyouts for their leased vehicles. Trade-in vehicle titles that are incorrectly signed, defaced or altered are not typically acceptable.
