In support of improving patient care, the Society for Simulation in Healthcare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) Mission Statement
The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) will deliver professional development opportunities for interprofessional healthcare teams working to improve the practice of healthcare through simulation-based education. This mission will be accomplished through the provision of interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) activities designed to improve both individual and team performance in simulation. |

**\*IMPORTANT\* - All educational sessions offered will be 60-minute time blocks. If you intend to submit content that requires longer than 60 minutes you will need to submit for content as part 1 and part 2.**
**START EARLY\!** The deadline for all submissions is May 27, 2026. Be sure to notify all potential co-presenters to create or update their SSH accounts. All presenters must update their financial disclosure statements annually to be added to a submission. Incomplete submissions will NOT move forward for peer review and will not be eligible for the final IMSH program.
**ADDING CO-PRESENTERS – IMPORTANT NOTE: Co-presenters can be added to your submission any time before the MAY 27th deadline.** The content submission portal will provide a co-presenter look-up feature. If you do not find your co-presenter through the look-up feature, that individual does not have an account with SSH. You will need to ask that co-presenter to first create an SSH account before he/she can be added to your submission. You may also add your co-presenter later once you have been notified that your submission has been accepted in September 2026.
**PRESENTER REQUIREMENTS -** All IMSH 2027 presenters are required to create and maintain an SSH member or non-member profile at [ssih.org](http://ssih.org/). Before beginning your submission, please complete the following:
1. Create an account, or log in to your existing SSH Profile at [ssih.org](http://ssih.org/)
2. Complete/update your SSH profile, including all of the following tabs:
1. **Name** (be sure to complete/update position title and institution name)
2. **Address** (be sure to complete business city, state and country)
3. **Phones/Emails** (be sure to note a key email address and key mobile phone number we can use to reach you if necessary)
4. **Demographics** (choose all of the degrees, licensures and certifications, along with any healthcare specialties that apply)
5. **Bio** (complete the bio statement field AND upload your most recent CV using the pdf upload tool at the bottom of the “Bio” tab
6. **Disclosure** (complete all fields to disclose your current financial relationships with relevant entities involved in healthcare simulation)

**INCOMPLETE SUBMISSIONS –** Will not be considered for acceptance. Be sure that your submissions are complete before the deadline on **MAY 27, 2026**.
**REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL PRESENTERS -** All presenters listed on content accepted for IMSH 2027 event **MUST** register for the meeting. Several registration options are available, including single-day passes. All presenters are encouraged to register before to end of the Early Bird registration date of **October 16, 2026**. All presenters are required to be registered by **November 15, 2026** or their name will be removed from the presenter listing. Any course directors not registered by this date risk having their accepted content cancelled.
**PRESENTATION SCHEDULING -** The IMSH 2027 Planning Team will schedule accepted courses where they best fit the final educational program. If accepted, Course Directors and co-presenters must accept their offered presentation timeslot by **September 17, 2026**. Scheduling conflicts for Course Directors will be resolved when possible, however, co-presenter conflicts will need to be rectified amongst the presenter team.
**AUDIO-VISUAL SUPPORT -** Standard AV provided in meeting rooms includes one projector, a head table with microphones, a podium, and speakers. Presenters are required to provide their own laptops for the projection of electronic presentation materials, along with the appropriate HDMI connector. Tabletop flip charts and markers are available in the IMSH Presenter Center. Additional audio-visual support is available for presentations if requested in advance.
**SIMULATION INSTRUCTIONAL EQUIPMENT -** Additional simulation instructional equipment (manikins, task trainers, and consumable supplies) are available and must be requested during the submission process. Items not requested during submission cannot be guaranteed.
**PRINTED INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS -** ANY printed materials presenters wish to distribute to learners must be printed at the presenter’s expense. SSH will provide a pdf upload feature in the IMSH content scheduler for presenters to use in distributing course materials.SSH will NOT release presenter course materials following the meeting.
**ATTENDEE CONTACT INFORMATION -** All attendee contact information is confidential and cannot be released. We encourage presenters and attendees to use the IMSH App to utilize the attendee chat feature to network with one another.
### SSH DISCLOSURE INFORMATION
As an accredited provider of Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE), the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) is committed to delivering fair, balanced education in support of safe and effective patient care. Content will be designed to; (1) present learners with accurate, balanced, scientifically justified recommendations, and (2) protect learners from promotion, marketing, and commercial bias.
In support of this commitment, all individuals in control of educational content presented at SSH-sponsored events, including planners, reviewers, authors, co-authors, and presenters, are required to disclose all financial relationships with companies considered ineligible for accreditation. Ineligible companies are defined as those companies whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients.
Please disclose all financial relationships you have had with ineligible companies during the past 24 months. There is no minimum financial threshold; disclose all financial relationships, regardless of the amount, with ineligible companies. Also, you must disclose regardless of the relevance of the relationship to the educational content being presented.
To complete/update your disclosure form, follow these steps:

### CALL FOR REVIEWERS
The IMSH 2027 Planning Committee welcomes you to be part of the content team! We are announcing a Call for Service for Content Reviewers of Educational Course Proposals, Research Abstracts, SimVentor showcase Innovations, and Conference Proceedings Manuscripts for the largest healthcare simulation conference in the world. In this role, applicants will participate in the peer review of submitted content for consideration to the 27th International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH 2027).
Our content offerings are designed to appeal to a broad range of individuals working in healthcare simulation and beyond.
Benefits of becoming a content reviewer:
- Have a role in selecting content you feel is essential at IMSH
- Acquire volunteer hours that count toward school or credential renewal including CHSE, CHSOS, and CHSE-A
- Participate in professional development to build your career and CV
- Acquire experience required to apply for future leadership roles on SSH Committees
**Applicant Requirements**
Your SSH membership must be active, applicants with expired memberships are disqualified from participation as a content reviewer.
IMPORTANT: If you will not be able to complete a maximum of 20 reviews within the timeframe noted below, please do not apply for this position. Review progress is monitored and not completing your reviews by the deadline may prevent you from participating in this role in the future. It is imperative that you be able to commit time to the review process and complete all assigned reviews within the designated timeframe.

**General Session Reviewer Requirements**
- Watch the online tutorial for conducting reviews, available on June 3, 2026.
- All assigned reviews will begin on June 3, 2026 and **must be completed by July 10, 2026.**
- You may be asked to attend virtual meetings with your content team. These meetings will be one hour in length maximum and will occur during the peer review timeline. Dates and times will be set by your Content Team Lead.
- Reviewers will be assigned a max of 20 submissions to review.
**Back-up Reviewer Requirements**
- Back-up reviewers are expected to work on a shorter one-week timeline. Reviews must be completed between July 3 and July 10, 2026.
- Back-up reviewers will be assigned a max of 10 submissions to review.
- Watch the online tutorial for conducting reviews, available on June 3, 2026.
- As a back-up reviewer you will receive assignments when the original reviewers indicate they can’t complete their assignments before the deadline.

Content categories for IMSH are specific to the **intended target audience** for the topic. As you choose the category of your presentation, consider who best would benefit from the material.

Consider the most appropriate audience for your topic. Is it MOST appropriate for those with oversight of the administrative functions of the simulation program (Administrators)? For those involved in training faculty or teaching simulation (Educators)? For those innovating new approaches or technologies in simulation (Innovators)? For those federal employees in healthcare or military personnel (Government)? For those managing the operations and technology of a simulation center or in-situ program (Operations Specialists)? Or, for those conducting research with, or about simulation (Researchers)?
**Administrator**
Content in this category is designed to address the administrative, leadership, and managerial functions of the simulation program. Topics include: all facets of simulation center management and administration including but not limited to organization & governance, accreditation, return on investment strategies (ROI), human and capital resource management, financial & fiscal management, scheduling, continuous quality improvement activities, program evaluation, security & confidentiality maintenance, policy & procedure framework, systems integration, and center sustenance initiatives.
**Educators**
Content in this category is designed for the faculty who teach and train using simulation. Content in this category is intended for those involved in executing innovative approaches and technologies in healthcare simulation. Topics for cutting-edge simulation-based technology and delivery methods include, but aren’t limited to: lower-resource advancements, telesim and distance learning, 3D printing and moulage, standardized patients technologies, augmented/virtual reality simulators, serious games, innovative theory-based interventions, assessment and evaluation methods, sensors, 3D Printing, rapid prototyping/testing methods, and logistical modeling.
**Operations Specialists**
Content in this category is intended for those involved in the day-to-day operations and technology of simulation. Topics include, but are not limited to, scenario programming, room set-up, course preparation, troubleshooting, simulator modification/repair/maintenance, audiovisual technologies, information technology, networking, equipment repair/maintenance, data collection and analysis, novel moulage, improvisation and standardized patient training, certifications, role in accreditation, professional development opportunities available for the operations specialist. Core operations principles and best practices are also welcomed.
**Researchers**
Content in this category is intended for those involved in simulation-based research and data analysis. Topics include beginner and advanced research practices, research design, data analysis, funding and grant writing, research methodology, validity and reliability of research measurements, and best practices related to the presentation of research. The focus may be conducting research with, or about, simulation.

**IMSH PRE-CONFERENCE (PAID) SESSIONS**
**Saturday, January 23, 2027**
Immersive Course (4 hours)
- The Immersive Course is four hours in duration and scheduled for Saturday 12:30pm – 4:30pm.
- Immersive courses will take place at the convention center.
- This course will offer participants an immersive and comprehensive learning experience on a topic of importance in simulation today.
- Accepted sessions must combine several learning formats to meet the needs of a varied array of learners. Interactivity and learner participation are required for these courses.
- The MAJORITY of the proposed immersive experience must be interactive in nature, giving attendees a chance to practice, discuss and problem-solve.
- We prioritize immersive experiences that feature hands-on activities versus small group discussion as primary interactive activities.
- Immersive experiences must include electronic enduring materials, such as a manual or handbook. This resource will be provided to learners in PDF format. Describe this resource in detail in your submission.
- POSSIBILITY OF COURSE CANCELLATION: Immersive courses for which an enrollment of twelve (12) attendees hasn’t been reached 30 days prior to the course date are subject to cancellation. Course Directors of affected courses will be notified NO LATER THAN December 22, 2026, if their course needs to be cancelled. SSH will not assume liability for travel change fees associated with Course Director/Faculty travel affected by the cancellation decision.
**IMSH GENERAL SESSION**
**Sunday – Wednesday, January 24 – 27, 2027**
Hands-on Workshop (60 minutes)
- Workshops are interactive sessions that begin with explanatory or introductory information and then quickly move on to involve the audience in some type of interactive, participatory activity.
- Presenters must limit introductory comments to no more than the first five minutes.
- Workshops are particularly well suited for demonstrations, role play, learning new skills or procedures, problem-solving discussions, testing best practices, and comparing and contrasting educational approaches, scenarios, courses and curriculum.
- Workshops should feature multiple presenters to help keep the content highly interactive and personal. At least 50% of the instructional timeline must show interactivity between faculty and learner.
- We prioritize workshops that feature hands-on activities versus small group discussion as primary interactive activities.
- The planning team encourages presenters to review the equipment list and incorporate use of equipment into course proposals.
- PowerPoint, video and other media are welcomed, but may not exceed 50% of the stated presentation time.
- Presentations offered in this delivery format will be scheduled in workshop room set up with a mix of classroom and theater seating. Workshop course directors should prepare for a maximum of 100 attendees. Room sets and max capacities cannot be altered.
WORKSHOP INSTRUCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Additional simulation instructional equipment (manikins, task trainers, medical equipment, and consumable supplies) are available and must be requested during the submission process for Workshops offerings. To support the inclusion of more of these types of courses in SSH educational activities, a supplies fund has been established to support the inclusion of take-home activities. Courses considered for these funds need to meet an important educational need or gap and demonstrate a primary focus on creating something useful that can be taken home by the learner for further enhancement of their simulation program.
***Supplies Funding to Promote More Interactive Workshops must meet the following criteria.***
1. Course supplies to be used in the creation of valuable, “take-home” simulation tools will be covered from this fund
2. Content chosen must be designed as a hands-on, interactive workshop with capacity for up to 125 learners
3. Course submission proposals must include one presenter for every 15 - 25 learners to ensure a high degree of interactivity and learning support
4. Content chosen must address an important content gap
5. The “take-home” item created cannot be promotional in nature
6. Supplies must be used to create physical take-aways for learners in the session (reusable moulage, 3D printed items, task trainers, partial task trainers, gadgets, etc). Funds will not be used for printing (pdfs/handouts, etc)
7. Final decisions will be determined by the educational activity planning team in coordination with the IMSH Planning Team.
8. The “take-away” item to be created during the course must be advertised in the course overview.
9. Supplies will be ordered four weeks in advance of the activity, based on projected enrollment.
10. **Simulation equipment is NOT available for debates, panels, hot topics, or oral presentations.**
**Panel Presentation (60 minutes)**
- This delivery format includes Panel and Debate presentations. Presentations offered in this delivery format will be scheduled in a workshop room OR lecture hall. Attendance for panel presentations can reach up to 200+ depending on the capacity of your assigned room. Room sets and max capacities WILL NOT be altered.
- The Panel Presentation focuses on a key issue in simulation today and has a **minimum ofthree** **(3)** panel members.
- The panel presentation should feature a designated moderator from your team and involve in an interactive discussion that invites participation from the audience.
- Since this is a highly interactive discussion, the planning team encourages you to list discussion topics in the course overview so attendees can bring relevant questions to the discussion.
- At least 30 minutes of audience participation is required. It is recommended that presenters engage the audience as soon as the introduction and opening questions are completed and that no panelist present for longer than five minutes.
- Question and answer segments from the audience should occur throughout the presentation.
- The submitter is responsible for coordinating all electronic presentations from panel members in advance.
- The Debate in Simulation features **two (2) or three (3) debaters** who hold clearly differing points of view on the main topic.
- The debate should be moderated by a chairperson with a prepared set of questions.
- At least 30 minutes of the presentation time should be devoted to audience participation in the debate.
- Submitters should identify the topic, why the topic is of interest to the healthcare simulation community, and the contrasting positions of the debaters.
- PowerPoint, video and other media are welcomed, but presentation must include some degree of interactivity with the audience.
**Hot Topic (15 minutes)**
- Traditional lecture presentation by **no more than two (2) speakers** meant to share recent findings and information.
- Topics to include new ideas, innovative concepts, recent findings, methodologies, exemplars, tools, and research results.
- Lecture format will be as follows:
- Multiple presenter stations will be set up around the room
- Attendees will select a presenter station
- Moderator welcome and ground rules
- Faculty begin presentation when instructed
- At 15 minutes, moderator will stop the presentation and audience Q\&A will begin.
- 5 minutes will be allotted for Q\&A or transition time
- After Q\&A concludes Participants will rotate to their next preferred presentation. The moderator will instruct presenters to start their presentation from the beginning.
- Process repeats for the entire length of the session, similar to a round-robin style presentation. Presentations will be repeated for the length of the session, you will repeat your presentation no more than 3 times.
- Scheduling is based on the number of similar topics. Scheduling information will be included in your acceptance email.
- Presentations offered in this delivery format will be scheduled in a large room and spaced adequately for audience interaction.
### RESEARCH ABSTRACTS
**1\. Research Abstract – Completed Studies**
Abstracts in this category represent **completed work** in which simulation is either the subject of the research or is used as a research tool. Quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods studies are welcomed. A specific research question and hypothesis are required. Established research methodologies and theoretical frameworks should inform the intervention, study design, and assessment process. Descriptive statistics may be presented. Use of inferential statistics on incomplete data, however, is strongly discouraged. Theoretical frameworks used to inform the intervention, methodology, or assessment process should be included when appropriate.
Authors of abstracts accepted in this category will present as **ONE** of the delivery formats below:
- **Oral Presentations –** Top scoring abstracts will be offered oral presentations. Accepted submitters will have 8 minutes to present their work during a moderated session, using a format that will be explained in your acceptance letter. Approximately 4-6 presenters will be grouped together. Oral sessions are held on January 26, 2027, following the Plenary Session.
- **Poster Presentations –** Accepted submitters are asked to prepare a poster summarizing your work for presentation at IMSH. You will be assigned an 4ft high x 8ft wide poster board on which to display your work. Posters do **NOT** need to fill the provided space. Excessively large posters are both expensive and cumbersome. Posters will be on display beginning Sunday, January 24th at 1:00 PM through Tuesday, January 26th at 2:00 PM.
- **Poster Professor Rounds Presentations** - As an accepted poster presenter, you are required to participate in Professor Rounds which be held on Sunday, January 24, 2027. For your poster presentation, prepare a three- minute oral overview of your work and be ready to answer any questions from both your assigned professors and audience members in attendance. Additional presentation information is provided in your acceptance letter.
**2\. Research Study Development and Presentation Program (DPP)**
Abstracts in this category describe studies in the development phase or in early stages of implementation for which the author wishes to receive focused review and feedback. This category is intended to help investigators better design, develop, implement, and prepare simulation-based research projects. Abstracts submitted to this category should represent research studies and ideas that hold promise to answer important questions in the field of simulation.
Participants in this program will receive feedback from fellow research colleagues on important topics such as the relevance of the identified problem, components of study design, study aims and goals, resource allocation, methodological considerations, outcome measures, and assessment metrics. Special consideration will be given to those topics most relevant for eventual publication of the completed study.
Authors of abstracts accepted into this category will present their work as an **Oral Presentation** during an invitation only session at IMSH 2027. These closed-door sessions are designed to foster collaboration among researchers working in similar topic areas.
- **Oral Presentation Information -** Presenters will have 10 minutes to present their work followed by a Q\&A portion. This invitation only presentation will be moderated, only presenting authors are permitted to attend. Additional details about this delivery format will be explained in your acceptance letter. Approximately 4-6 presenters will be grouped together. The sessions are held on January 26, 2027, following the Plenary Session.
**3\. Future Innovators in Research, Education and Simulation (FIRES) Manuscript**
The FIRES program provides developing researchers an opportunity for manuscript publication in the SSH Journal, *Simulation in Healthcare*. Submission requirements are for shorter papers than typical journal submissions. If accepted will be published as a short paper in *Simulation in Healthcare* in 2027.
Authors are required to adhere to the *Simulation in Healthcare* instructions. For FIRES submissions, the manuscript cannot exceed 2000 words and no more than four figures/tables. A structured abstract is required, not to exceed 250 words. Authors of abstracts accepted into this category will present their work as an **Oral Presentation** during a general session at IMSH 2027.
- **Oral Presentation Information -** Presenters will have 15 minutes to present their work followed by 5 minutes of Q\&A during a moderated session. This delivery format will be explained in your acceptance letter. Approximately 4-6 presenters will be grouped together. The session are held on “Research Tuesday”, January 26, 2027 following the Plenary Session.
### SIMVENTORS
The SimVentors Showcase is a unique and powerful resource to showcase the latest in healthcare technologies, inventions, and games to an elite group of peers and judges to share ideas, gain feedback, get mentorship and transition ideas/inventions to end users. Mentorship is available if you would like more information on the design of your product, patent information, or assistance presenting your ideas\!
Do you have an amazing invention, innovation, or methodology you want to share or get feedback on? We are looking for the newest innovations and ideas in healthcare simulation. The SimVentor Showcase is the place to present your innovations in any of the following categories: low cost/low resource solutions, DIY solutions, modifications to existing equipment. We want to see your high-tech ideas include but are not limited to AR/VR, serious games, 3D printing, mobile apps, physiological sensors, unique learning paradigms, autonomous systems, AI, tissue properties, tele-sim, mobile operations, improvisation techniques, novel content delivery methods, and task trainer modifications. **Commercially available technologies may NOT be submitted to this category.**
**Presentation in the SimVentors Showcase**
- Presenters will bring their innovation to IMSH 2027 to present during the SimVentors Showcase, being held on “Technology Monday”, January 25, 2027, from 11:30AM - 1:30 PM. Presenters will showcase their innovations to judges from 11:30am – 12:00pm. Presenters will then showcase their innovations to the public from 12:00pm – 1:30pm. The scores will be tabulated and winners will be announced starting at 1:15pm. Photos of winners will be taken following the announcement of all winners. Presenters must be present for the entire duration of the SimVentors Showcase.
Presenters will be provided with a 6-foot table and 2 chairs to showcase their innovation during the 2 hour period. **Standard electrical power will be provided only if requested in your submissionentry**. Presenters are responsible for bringing demonstration materials (e.g. laptops, video, equipment). Wireless internet access will be provided. During the showcase, presenters will be able to discuss their ideas in an informal format with judges, attendees, and vendors.
**Judging of in person presentations** - All in person demonstrations will be rigorously reviewed by a set of esteemed judges. All judges will be recognizable (e.g. by ribbon, name tag) and will visit your table between 11:30am – 12:00pm to score your entry in 3 areas: Best Impact, Best Innovation, and Best Approach. All IMSH attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the “People’s Choice Award”. The Best Impact, Best Innovation, Best Approach, and People’s Choice award winners will be announced at 1:15pm. Winners names will also be announced during the Tuesday Plenary Session.
**\*\*Important note\*\*** - Judges will also invite up to 6 SimVentor entries to participate in the Technology Committee activity, *Pitch Room,* on Tuesday, January 26, 2026*. Pitch Room* presenters will give a 10-minute presentation on their innovation that addresses: the gap or need; how the idea/item meets the need identified in the gap; how this solution is unique/different than what exists (as appropriate).
Expert panelist will provide feedback/insights/thoughts regarding your SimVentor entry. Presenters will walk away with insider. All Pitch Room presentations are confidential and will be held in an invitation only session.
**Presentation of standard information and three take-away lessons learned for attendees** - Presenters should provide the following information for attendees. It can be posted on your table, in your slide deck, or as a flyer for attendees to take with them.
- Name(s) of presenters:
- Short description of innovation (100 words or less)
- Three facts about your submission that could assist in their decision-making about similar techniques/technologies. Examples of these types of facts would include helpful information such as the level of effort required (man-hours), breakdown of the type of expertise required to develop the innovation (engineering, UI/UX, etc), or total cost.
**Acknowledge Understanding that Promotion of Commercial Products is NOT Allowed -** No “give-aways” or promotional materials are permitted during the SimVentors Showcase. This will be strictly enforced. The idea of the Showcase is to promote collegiality, networking and collaboration in the field.
### CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
**The IMSH Conference Proceeding Manuscripts is a content option for publication.** Entries in this category require a full 3,000 – 4,000 word manuscript. If accepted, submitters will be scheduled to give a brief oral presentation at IMSH 2027, and **your manuscript will be published in a Special Edition of the Simulation Technology and Operations Resource Magazine (STORM) after IMSH.** Manuscripts on various simulation topics including best practice policy and procedure, innovative design for training, emerging simulation technologies, and advancements in professional development are encouraged to submit to this content area.
**Conference proceedings are an excellent format for sharing results for the following:**
- Pilot and beta testing of simulation technologies
- Quality assurance reviews of new policy and procedure
- Evaluation of innovative training events/programs
- Impact analysis of career advancement opportunities or new collaborations
**Benefits of submitting a Conference Proceedings Manuscript:**
- Manuscripts are indexed (STORM ISSN 3070-3506) for referencing and information sharing, ensuring your presented information is available for posterity and attributed to you
- Great avenue for new authors/investigators to become accustomed to the peer review process

**Detailed information for submission:**
1. **Submission Process:** Conference proceedings will be submitted using the IMSH 2027 content submission portal. It is important to note, the submission process will require the full manuscript for submission, which will undergo a peer-review process. Following review, all authors will receive feedback on their manuscript. If accepted, authors will be notified via email to begin working on their presentation. In order to be published, at least one author must present in person at the conference.
2. **Written Manuscript:** Manuscripts submitted under Conference Proceedings are short papers, with a length requirement of 4-6 pages. Authors should adhere to the STORM [submission guidelines](https://www.ssih.org/sites/default/files/2025-03/Submission%20Guidelines.pdf)for formatting and referencing.
3. **Oral Presentation**: Presenters of accepted manuscripts will be required to give a 10-minute oral presentation during IMSH 2027. The format will be stated in your acceptance letter. One author is required to give an oral presentation at IMSH 2027 in order to be published as a *Conference Proceeding Manuscript*. Presenters will have 10 minutes to present their work during a moderated session, with a five minute question and answer portion to follow. The Conference Proceeding Oral Presentations will be held during the IMSH General session, January 25 – 27, 2027.
**Publication and Indexing**: Your accepted submission for the Conference Proceedings will be published following IMSH as part of a special issue for the Simulation Technology and Operations Resource Magazine (STORM). As part of this process, you will receive a separate acceptance letter from [storm@ssih.com](mailto:storm@ssih.com) with details for publication readiness. Part of this process may include a member of the STORM Editorial Board reaching out to inquire with you about ways to further strengthen your submission as a resource for other simulationists. The STORM Copy Editor will also work with you to adjust any formatting that is needed prior to publication. In support of improving patient care, the Society for Simulation in Healthcare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
##### **Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) Mission Statement**
The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) will deliver professional development opportunities for interprofessional healthcare teams working to improve the practice of healthcare through simulation-based education. This mission will be accomplished through the provision of interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) activities designed to improve both individual and team performance in simulation. |
