The VTL arrangements are still being finalised between India and Malaysia.\n\nWhat is a VTL flight?\n\nVTL flights are designated flights that allow fully-vaccinated travellers to enter Singapore quarantine-free under the\n\nVaccinated Travel Lane scheme.\n\nHow do I get eligible for a VTL flight?\n\nTravellers must not have any travel history outside of Singapore and\/or [VTL](https:\/\/safetravel.ica.gov.sg\/vtl\/requirements-and-process#Eligibility) or [Category I countries\/regions](https:\/\/safetravel.ica.gov.sg\/shn-and-swab-summary#table) in the past 14 days to be eligible for the VTL flights. Any time spent in Singapore prior to travelling to a VTL country counts towards these 14 days. *E.g. if you had spent 10 days in Singapore before flying to Germany, you may return to Singapore on a VTL flight starting from day 4 of your trip.*\n\nPlease note that you can visit multiple VTL or Category I countries\/regions on the same trip and still be eligible for VTL flights. Transit countries are considered part of your travel history. You will not be eligible for a VTL flight if you have transited through a non-VTL country within the past 14 days. *E.g. you can fly from Singapore to Munich, then onward to Paris and London, and return to Singapore within a 14-day trip. However, if you fly from Singapore to Los Angeles via Tokyo, you will not be eligible for Singapore Airlines non-stop VTL flight from Los Angeles if your stay in Los Angeles is less than 14 days, as Tokyo is not on the list of VTL countries.*\n\nDo I have to select a VTL flight travelling from Singapore?\n\nYou may select any Singapore Airlines flight out of Singapore to a VTL country. (Except for flights into Australia, which have specific requirements. All vaccination certificates must be digitally certifiable (i.e. contain a QR code for verification). VTL flights are designated flights that allow fully-vaccinated travellers to enter Singapore quarantine-free under the Vaccinated Travel Lane scheme. How do I get eligible for a VTL flight? Travellers must not have any travel history outside of Singapore and/or [VTL](https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/vtl/requirements-and-process#Eligibility) or [Category I countries/regions](https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/shn-and-swab-summary#table) in the past 14 days to be eligible for the VTL flights. Any time spent in Singapore prior to travelling to a VTL country counts towards these 14 days. E.g. if you had spent 10 days in Singapore before flying to Germany, you may return to Singapore on a VTL flight starting from day 4 of your trip. Please note that you can visit multiple VTL or Category I countries/regions on the same trip and still be eligible for VTL flights. Transit countries are considered part of your travel history. You will not be eligible for a VTL flight if you have transited through a non-VTL country within the past 14 days. E.g. you can fly from Singapore to Munich, then onward to Paris and London, and return to Singapore within a 14-day trip. However, if you fly from Singapore to Los Angeles via Tokyo, you will not be eligible for Singapore Airlines non-stop VTL flight from Los Angeles if your stay in Los Angeles is less than 14 days, as Tokyo is not on the list of VTL countries. Do I have to select a VTL flight travelling from Singapore? You may select any Singapore Airlines flight out of Singapore to a VTL country. What vaccination requirements apply for VTL flights? Travellers must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with any vaccine in the [World Health Organisation (WHO) Emergency Use List](https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/health/vtsg). – To be considered fully vaccinated you require two shots of an approved vaccine or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. – Mixing of approved vaccines is accepted. – The final dose must be completed at least 14 days prior to arrival in Singapore. You must provide a vaccination certificate in English issued by Singapore or the VTL country. All vaccination certificates must be digitally certifiable (i.e. contain a QR code for verification). Are there testing requirements for VTL flights? Yes. Travellers on a VTL flight entering Singapore will be required to take two Covid-19 PCR tests: A professionally administered [ART or PCR test](https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/vtl/faq#PDT) within two days of the flight departure. All pre-departure test result memos must state: – Traveller’s name. – Either date of birth or passport number as stated in the passport. – Date and time where the test was taken, as well as the name of the testing institution. – Negative test result in English. – An on-arrival test at Changi Airport.
