Here's how you can dodge the entry fees:
Walking, instead of taking any transport, is the cheapest way to get into Sentosa, and a great way to
clock your daily steps
at that. On a good day, it’ll take you no longer than 15 minutes to cross the Sentosa Boardwalk. Sheltered, ventilated and equipped with travelators, the Sentosa Boardwalk leads you directly from VivoCity (exit near Paradise Teochew restaurant) to the heart of Resorts World Sentosa.
Heading to Sentosa for a wedding or
staycation
? Remember to have the invitation or confirmation email at the ready. For those travelling by road, present your invitation or confirmation slip to get your entrance fee waived at the gantry. And for those travelling by Sentosa Express (monorail), simply present the invitation or confirmation slip to the service staff at the VivoCity station for free entry.
And if you're taking a Grab car, taxi or private hire into or out of Sentosa, do take note of these drop-off and pick-up points!

Islander membership
offers significant cost savings. This membership provides unlimited access to the island via the Sentosa Gantry (drive-in) for a full year. At just S$25 for a new membership and S$20 for renewals, it quickly pays for itself with waived entry fees.
The standard membership covers entry for one car and one person, making it ideal for solo trips. However, families can opt for the Family membership at S$50, which covers up to four immediate family members. This allows everyone to enjoy Sentosa’s attractions and amenities without incurring individual entry fees.

Sentosa provides a range of parking options with varying rates and locations. But if you’re seeking the most affordable option, your best bet would be the Sentosa carparks (Beach Station, Imbiah, Palawan Beach, Tanjong Beach and Sentosa Cove Village). Each of them offers a flat rate of S$1.20 per hour during off-peak hours (7am to 5pm). This is a great option if you're planning to spend the day soaking up the sun and enjoying the beach amenities.
The only one you’ll need to keep an eye out for is the RWS carpark – the first hour alone will cost you a whopping $7!
If you frequent Sentosa or visit at least twice a year, consider applying for Sentosa’s Islander membership — it's free! But you'll have to earn 400 points to be upgraded to Islander Insider to enjoy the perks. You get up to 4 hours of free parking at selected car parks, 365 days of free island admission and S$20 cash vouchers on your birthday month.
Attending a wedding or having a staycation in Sentosa? Request a complimentary parking coupon from the host or front counter before you leave, or shell out over S$20 for a night of parking.
Besides looking out for hacks to save on your parking fees, smart drivers also compare car insurance quotes during renewal for the best deal in terms of coverage and cost. Compare car insurance easily with SingSaver today.
Sentosa’s car entry fee and parking rates can be daunting, but there are ways to save.
Leverage on the free Islander membership to enjoy perks like complimentary parking and island admission. Plan your visit during off-peak periods for lower parking fees. Don't forget to request for parking coupons when attending events or staycations in Sentosa.Â
By being savvy, you can maximise your Sentosa experience without burning a hole in your pocket. Ultimately,
charge your expenses to the right credit card
to earn cashback, air miles, or rewards that can offset costs for your next Sentosa adventure and next overseas holiday. Apply for one through us today and get rewarded* with attractive gifts and cash!
With some planning, a fun-filled day at Sentosa awaits without breaking the bank. |

Sentosa provides a range of parking options with varying rates and locations. But if you’re seeking the most affordable option, your best bet would be the Sentosa carparks (Beach Station, Imbiah, Palawan Beach, Tanjong Beach and Sentosa Cove Village). Each of them offers a flat rate of S\$1.20 per hour during off-peak hours (7am to 5pm). This is a great option if you're planning to spend the day soaking up the sun and enjoying the beach amenities.
The only one you’ll need to keep an eye out for is the RWS carpark – the first hour alone will cost you a whopping \$7\!
