The Bukit Batok Library has recently reopened, and its interior is inspired by the town-fave Little Guilin quarry at Bukit Batok Town Park. It’s incredibly photo-worthy, with the bonus being that you get to read books for free! Check out some unique spaces here, such as relaxation rooms, interactive exhibits, a Sound Pavilion and more. Their new outdoor playground is a must-visit if you’re in town, featuring a botanical theme and many different zones to cater to kids of all ages. There are plenty of climbing nets, slides, flower towers, sensory elements and more! There are also indoor play spaces where kids can unwind and cool off from the heat. Cool off at the reopened Jurong East Swimming Complex Image credit: Jurong East Swimming Complex In case you didn’t already know, the Jurong East Swimming Complex is one of the largest of its kind in Singapore! And here’s the great news: it has partially reopened! Check out a spacious water play area with lots of water jets and buckets–perfect for scorching days. What we love most, though, is the lazy river, the wave pool and the kids’ pool where the little ones can burn all their energy off. Entry is super affordable, too, at $1/adult and $0.80/child. Animal mascots & kids’ activities at Great World Mother’s Day has arrived early at Great World! Starting this weekend, you can catch animal mascots at 2.30pm and 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. There are also kids’ workshops such as eco bookmark-making, ocean-inspired coasters and more, taking place at 4pm. On Mother’s Day itself, you can look forward to a special parade of animal mascots! The FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2026 kicks things off from 1 to 5 April, and you can see the top regional teams in action. That’s not all–stay tuned for the exciting FIBA 3×3 World Cup Qualifier 2026 happening on 11 to 12 April, where national teams will battle for the final spots at the World Cup in Warsaw. The cute pink bear hails from South Korea, and you can now spot a giant 7-metre-tall inflatable Bellygom right at the departure gates. Families can wander through streets inspired by geisha quarters, with wooden chaya façades, and explore a recreated Edo-era samurai residence showcasing traditional crafts like lacquerware, gold leaf, and dyed kimono textiles. Over 30 varieties of cherry, peach, and plum blossoms set the scene, with a bridge over a serene pond and a playful rain feature. Spot an LED Pokémon Truck with mascots, colouring & more (FREE!) Get a first look of the new Pokémon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2, and check out an array of games, photo zones, kids’ colouring zones and even Pokémon Pokopia simulations. There’ll also be Pokémon mascot appearances to look forward to. Come early and you may get some free Pokémon Pokopia sun visors (while stocks last). The Singapore Art Museum (SAM) opens its refreshed Learning Gallery and it spotlights the theme of ‘Childhood’. Be among the first to see exclusive artworks at the free Art Carnival taking place for one day only.
