Intentionally l kept myself busy before watching the last episode so this journey won't end as quickly. I truly didn't want it to end. That was juicy und delicious! This season is about one family only, which means that you'll have one plot and you have lots of time to focus on every character involved, which was harder during the 1st season. Meet Alma, a woman who's obsessed with the local garden club and can't help herself with how desperately she wants to join. The club is a circle of high echelon elegant ladies that Alma dreamt of becoming. It's very hard to become a member. Watch her doing everything in her power and more for materialization of her wish and yes it includes illegal activities. This season is a wild ride through a whole spectrum of emotions. There were some things that I loved like the darker theme and the timeline being set in the 50s. But there were also some things that didn’t seem thought through well enough and i was really confused because i had more questions than answers in the end. I feel like the writers could have been more creative and had more fun with it if they put the thought into it a little more. Overall it was great and I wish there was another season to look forward to. The lead character's fake accent is poorly done and somehow becomes even more exaggerated as the season progresses. While the first season was well-crafted and engaging, this season is a complete letdown. Intentionally l kept myself busy before watching the last episode so this journey won't end as quickly. I truly didn't want it to end. That was juicy und delicious! This season is about one family only, which means that you'll have one plot and you have lots of time to focus on every character involved, which was harder during the 1st season. Meet Alma, a woman who's obsessed with the local garden club and can't help herself with how desperately she wants to join. The club is a circle of high echelon elegant ladies that Alma dreamt of becoming. It's very hard to become a member. Watch her doing everything in her power and more for materialization of her wish and yes it includes illegal activities. This season is a wild ride through a whole spectrum of emotions. There were some things that I loved like the darker theme and the timeline being set in the 50s. But there were also some things that didn’t seem thought through well enough and i was really confused because i had more questions than answers in the end. I feel like the writers could have been more creative and had more fun with it if they put the thought into it a little more. Overall it was great and I wish there was another season to look forward to.
