I knew about the existence of this series for a couple of years but I decided not to watch it because it appeared to be a \"Desperate Housewives\" rip-off. But someone recommended it and I finally gave it a watch and boy oh boy, that was amazing. Yes, it is very DH coded but I don't mind it! The plot evolves around 3 different stories of 3 women who lived in the same mansion but in different decades. A lot of subject matter is involved: relationships, open marriage, infidelity, motherhood, illnesses, friendships, addictions, crimes, homosexuality, careers and lots more. That's what \\| love about it. You have different perspectives on marriage, different situations and lotsof topics. Highly recommend! That's for season 1. Maybe the house has some kind of curse to it? But I wish it would go more into detail about the confrontation with the first couple they showed. Overall great season. I knew about the existence of this series for a couple of years but I decided not to watch it because it appeared to be a "Desperate Housewives" rip-off. But someone recommended it and I finally gave it a watch and boy oh boy, that was amazing. Yes, it is very DH coded but I don't mind it! The plot evolves around 3 different stories of 3 women who lived in the same mansion but in different decades. A lot of subject matter is involved: relationships, open marriage, infidelity, motherhood, illnesses, friendships, addictions, crimes, homosexuality, careers and lots more. Maybe the house has some kind of curse to it? But I wish it would go more into detail about the confrontation with the first couple they showed. Overall great season.
