Last time I took a test we were given a pencil and a few sheets of paper that you had to turn back in at the end. The breaks were to use the restroom and of course there was usually a water fountain. However, all of our stuff is locked up until after the test so I do not see how you could eat anything.
Hello, I made the exam from my home and everything occurred as well. Take your 2 breaks to ten minutes each because is very important to refresh your brain, take glass water, go to bathroom or eat something (quickly). The first break begins after you finish the question 60. the second break after question 120. It is very important to take a look in your time before you confirm your break to measure how much time per question you still have. In 230minutes, we have 1,27 per question. Answer all questions until the finish! Monitor your time! To more questions, contact me:

, and I'm very glad to help you!

Hi Dinah,
Thank you for your response. I am hoping I get the sheets of paper option as well, its just easier to work with paper for this purpose.
Its good to know that we can use the restroom and drink some water.
Yes, I am aware all our stuff is locked up, I wasn't sure if we get an option to open the locker during the break to grab a quick bite of nuts or protein bar :)
Thank you for taking the time to respond.
Cheers,
Navjot

Hi Adriana,
Thank you for the valuable pointers.
Unfortunately, I prefer to give the exam at a testing centre as I have a toddler at home and so won't be able to concentrate at home with the little one in the next room ;)
I will ensure to take these important breaks and utilize these 10 mnts very wisely.
Thank you once again,
Cheers,
Navjot

Hi Navjot Walia,
Yes, can open the locker during break. I did it twice, once to get protein bar and another time to get jacket.
You are also allowed to eat and drink during the break. I was told that if i need to drink during exam period, just need to raise hand and exit the room to have a drink but exam timing will continue running. I didn't drink during exam.
Good luck for your exam!

Nick

| [Navjot Walia](https://community.pmi.org/profile/navjotwalia) Project Manager Sydney, Nsw, Australia Hello. Has anyone recently taken the PMP exam at a Testing Centre? How was the experience? Were you given a paper booklet or erasable marker board (s) as note-taking items? I am really not sure on using erasable marker board for this purpose but I am aware that it depends on the testing centre on which option they provide. Also, is one allowed to drink water or eat a quick bite, use the restroom in those 2 x 10 minutes break? Any other pointers/experiences to note from centre-based PMP test? Thanks. Saving Changes...
