Position your plant in the middle of the hole and make sure the top of the root ball is slightly higher than surrounding ground.\nStep 4\nFill the hole with water.\nDo not use any hose attachments or sprayers.\nStep 5\nMix soil\nremoved from the hole\nwith planting soil\nand back fill around the root ball. Carefully pack the soil to remove any air pockets. Water plant thoroughly again!\nStep 6\nFertilize around your plant\nwith\nRoot Rocket\n. Our special fertilizer has all of the nutrients to keep your plant growing and healthy. Repeat every 6 months.\nStep 7\nFinish up by mulching\naround your new plant. Apply up to 1-2” of mulch around the plant. Mulch will keep the soil moist and keep weeds out. They need sunlight and water to survive. ### Step 2 ![]() Check how much sun your plant likes to receive before choosing a location for planting. ### Step 3 ![]() Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball. Position your plant in the middle of the hole and make sure the top of the root ball is slightly higher than surrounding ground. ### Step 4 ![]() Fill the hole with water. Do not use any hose attachments or sprayers. ### Step 5 ![]() Mix soil removed from the hole with planting soil and back fill around the root ball. Carefully pack the soil to remove any air pockets.
