This may come as a shock but Trump is lying.\"\nAnglican priest Daniel Brereton wrote alongside three 'eyeroll' emojis: \"Trump says he is 6'3. Prince William is \"also\" 6'3. What a liar the Prince of Wales is.\nNewsweek\nhas approached Trump's campaign team for comment.\nPrince William has long been reported to be 6ft 3inches though the exact origin of the statistic is slightly harder to pin down.\nIt has, however, been reported in the British press dating back to at least 2009 when cited in an article about royal height in the U.K. newspaper\nDaily Mail\n, which suggested he would tower over his \"titchy royal ancestors.\"\nWilliam is also not the only example casting doubt on Trump's height after the President-elect appeared shorter than\nElon Musk\n, who is said to be 6ft 2inches.\nSpeculation over Trump's height has been rumbling for months after records taken at the point of his arrest in New York, in April 2023, on allegations he falsified business records.
