It is now a museum that has preserved the original furnishings and interior design of its former owners.\nFans of the film can book a visit to the museum, tickets cost just €14 ($15.76) for adults, €9 for students, and €6 for children, and it is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday.\nThe Gucci Family residence\nThe gorgeous lakeside villa Maurizio's uncle Aldo (Al Pacino) takes him and Patrizia to is situated in Lake Como.\nVilla Balbiano is the largest private villa on the Western side of Lake Como. Maurizio's daughters Alessandra and Allegra are said to currently be living in Switzerland with their respective families, and they own properties there. House of Gucci director Ridley Scott did not film in the Swiss ski resort for the movie, instead using the village of Gressoney Saint-Jean in Aosta Valley in the Italian Alps. The villa that Scott used for party scenes was originally built in the 1920s and has since been restored, it has 24 rooms and is currently on sale for €990,000. ## Wedding bells and shopping sprees Milan is where many of the sets for House of Gucci can be found, as several locations were used for important scenes. Palazzo Bagatti Valsecchi is where Rodolfo takes Maurizio and Patrizia for lunch, their first outing together. Maurizio and Patrizia also enjoy a day out in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a gorgeous shopping arcade in Milan. Filmed across Italy during the COVID lockdown in late 2020, the true-crime drama features several palatial residences that double up as the homes of the Gucci family. From Milan to Rome, and even the ski resorts of the Aosta Valley, there are many stunning filming locations. Here, Newsweek can reveal where they are. ## Rodolfo Gucci's home A lot of House of Gucci was shot in Milan, and the most stunning location of all was Rodolfo Gucci's home. The Gucci patriarch, played by Jeremy Irons, spends his twilight years hidden away in the gorgeous property, focused more on the past than his son Maurizio's (Driver) romance with Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga). Villa Necchi-Campiglio doubles as Rodolfo's home in the film, and it is rather aptly located in Italy's fashion capital in Via Mozart. The property was first built in 1935 by the Necchi-Campiglio family, members of a sewing machine dynasty. It is now a museum that has preserved the original furnishings and interior design of its former owners. Fans of the film can book a visit to the museum, tickets cost just €14 (\$15.76) for adults, €9 for students, and €6 for children, and it is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. ## The Gucci Family residence The gorgeous lakeside villa Maurizio's uncle Aldo (Al Pacino) takes him and Patrizia to is situated in Lake Como. Villa Balbiano is the largest private villa on the Western side of Lake Como. It was built in the 16th century by Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio and overlooks the lake. While it was not owned by the Gucci family, the palatial property seems the perfect place for the fashion empire with its incredible art collections, opulent furnishings and stunning views.
