Any counselor licensed in another state, territory, or the District of Columbia who is currently providing counseling services (via telehealth or in person) to clients located in North Carolina **must terminate those counseling services no later than September 15, 2025**. Counselors must **notify the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors by September 22, 2025**, confirming: - That counseling services to clients in North Carolina have ended, and - The date of the final service rendered. #### Please use the below form to notify the Board of termination of services: [End of Services Form](https://bit.ly/Order318) *** The Board offers opportunities for out-of-state counselors to apply for North Carolina licensure.
