William Adams returned to Buell Elementary School to honor shooting victim Kayla Rolland with a bouquet of flowers. He holds a flower from that bouquet that he spread the petals beneath the school's flag flying at half mast in honor of Kayla on March 1, 2000. "We all need to take responsibility, especially parents," Adams said "We need to take a lesson from this." His daughter Samantha often played with Kayla he said. He said he hasn't been able to bring himself to talk to her about Kayla's death yet. Adams hopes they will remember Kayla forever, hopefully with a plaque at the school.
