It is therefore recommended to plan your arrival in advance and consult the latest information.\n\n## EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE OLYMPICS IN LIVIGNO\n### Can I go on vacation to Livigno during the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics?\nDuring the Olympic Games, Livigno’s accommodation facilities will make available any vacant rooms for anyone wishing to book.  \n  \nAll guests at these accommodations can reach Livigno by car upon request for a parking pass.  \n  \nFrom 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM, no pass is required to reach Livigno.\n\n### Will the Livigno ski area be open?\n### LIFT SYSTEMS\nFrom the start of the 2025\/2026 ski season, scheduled for 29 November 2025, until its closing on 3 May 2026, all lifts in the Livigno ski area will be open (weather and snow conditions permitting).\n\nFrom 26 January to 22 February 2026, the Carosello 3000 (No. 11\/12) and Mottolino (No. 3) cable cars will be shared with athletes.\n\n### SKI RUNS – SITAS\nThe runs managed by SITAS will not be affected by the Olympic Games.\n\n### SKI RUNS – MOTTOLINO\n- From 7 January to 22 February 2026, run No. 5 “Pista degli Amanti” will be closed.\n- From 25 January to 22 February 2026, run No. 3 “Pista Mottolino” will be closed.\n\n**Return with skis – Mottolino:**\n\n- Until 24 January 2026, the valley can be reached via run No. 3 “Mottolino,” run No. 26 “Giorgio Rocca,” or cable car No. 3 “Mottolino.”\n- From 25 January to 22 February 2026, return will be possible via run No. 26 “Giorgio Rocca” and cable car No. 3 “Mottolino.”\n- Runs towards Trepalle will remain open at all times.\n### SKI RUNS – CAROSELLO 3000\n- From 7 January to 22 February 2026, the lower section of the “Zuelli” run (from Tea da Borch restaurant to the Carosello 3000 base station) will be closed.\n- From 1 February to 15 February 2026, the lower section of the “Centrale” run (the wooded section from the intermediate Carosello 3000 station to Tea da Borch restaurant) will be closed.\n\n**Return with skis – Carosello 3000:**\n\n- Until 31 January 2026, return to the valley will be possible via the lower section of the “Centrale” run (passing Tea Cip\\&Ciop restaurant) with options to return to the Carosello 3000 base station or S. Rocco.\n### OTHER AREAS\nThe rest of the ski area will remain open as usual (weather and snow conditions permitting), along with all dining facilities located outside the Olympic security perimeter.\n\n### How do the Olympic ZTL (Limited Traffic Zones) work?\n### How the Olympic ZTL (Limited Traffic Zones) Work\nTo ensure the safety of the event and its spectators, while allowing daily life to continue in the area, a temporary traffic regulation system will be introduced: the **Olympic ZTLs**.\n\nThe areas subject to temporary traffic control will be divided into **three zones – Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3** – defined based on their proximity to competition sites, access to town centers, and main connecting roads. Each zone will have specific rules and activation times.\n\n### **Zone 3 – LIVIGNO: Valdidentro**\n- **Active filters:** 4–22 February 2026, 06:00 – 24:00\n- Part of Valdidentro, particularly the areas between the town center and Passo del Foscagno, as well as the Premadio district, will be under an Olympic ZTL.\n- This traffic zone extends up to Passo d’Eira.\n- **Note:** All residents, During the Olympic Games, Livigno’s accommodation facilities will make available any vacant rooms for anyone wishing to book. All guests at these accommodations can reach Livigno by car upon request for a parking pass. From 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM, no pass is required to reach Livigno. ### Will the Livigno ski area be open? ### LIFT SYSTEMS From the start of the 2025/2026 ski season, scheduled for 29 November 2025, until its closing on 3 May 2026, all lifts in the Livigno ski area will be open (weather and snow conditions permitting). From 26 January to 22 February 2026, the Carosello 3000 (No. 11/12) and Mottolino (No. 3) cable cars will be shared with athletes. ### SKI RUNS – SITAS The runs managed by SITAS will not be affected by the Olympic Games. ### SKI RUNS – MOTTOLINO - From 7 January to 22 February 2026, run No. 5 “Pista degli Amanti” will be closed. - From 25 January to 22 February 2026, run No. 3 “Pista Mottolino” will be closed. **Return with skis – Mottolino:** - Until 24 January 2026, the valley can be reached via run No. 3 “Mottolino,” run No. 26 “Giorgio Rocca,” or cable car No. 3 “Mottolino.” - From 25 January to 22 February 2026, return will be possible via run No. 26 “Giorgio Rocca” and cable car No. 3 “Mottolino.” - Runs towards Trepalle will remain open at all times. ### SKI RUNS – CAROSELLO 3000 - From 7 January to 22 February 2026, the lower section of the “Zuelli” run (from Tea da Borch restaurant to the Carosello 3000 base station) will be closed. - From 1 February to 15 February 2026, the lower section of the “Centrale” run (the wooded section from the intermediate Carosello 3000 station to Tea da Borch restaurant) will be closed. **Return with skis – Carosello 3000:** - Until 31 January 2026, return to the valley will be possible via the lower section of the “Centrale” run (passing Tea Cip\&Ciop restaurant) with options to return to the Carosello 3000 base station or S. Rocco. - From 1 February to 22 February 2026, return will follow the same route with arrival at S. Rocco. ### OTHER AREAS The rest of the ski area will remain open as usual (weather and snow conditions permitting), along with all dining facilities located outside the Olympic security perimeter. ### How do the Olympic ZTL (Limited Traffic Zones) work? ### How the Olympic ZTL (Limited Traffic Zones) Work To ensure the safety of the event and its spectators, while allowing daily life to continue in the area, a temporary traffic regulation system will be introduced: the **Olympic ZTLs**. The areas subject to temporary traffic control will be divided into **three zones – Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3** – defined based on their proximity to competition sites, access to town centers, and main connecting roads. Each zone will have specific rules and activation times. ### **Zone 3 – LIVIGNO: Valdidentro** - **Active filters:** 4–22 February 2026, 06:00 – 24:00 - Part of Valdidentro, particularly the areas between the town center and Passo del Foscagno, as well as the Premadio district, will be under an Olympic ZTL. - This traffic zone extends up to Passo d’Eira. - **Note:** All residents, workers, suppliers, second-home owners, etc., within the municipality of Valdidentro are entitled to a **Car Pass**. ### **Zone 2 – LIVIGNO: Livigno town** - **Active filters:** 4–22 February 2026, 06:00 – 24:00 - Purpose: Protect the municipality of Livigno, including the Trepalle district. - All residents, workers, suppliers, second-home owners, etc., within Livigno are entitled to a **Car Pass**. ### **Zone 1 – LIVIGNO: Mottolino** - **Active filters:** 4–22 February 2026, 06:00 – 24:00 - **Competitions:** Multiple competition days, with events in the morning and evening. - **Event schedule:** [Livigno Olympics schedule](https://www.livigno.eu/olimpiadi-milano-cortina#calendario) ### **Zone 1 – LIVIGNO: Carosello 3000** - **Active filters:** 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21 February 2026, 08:00 – 15:00 - Area around Carosello 3000, via Saroch. ### Where can I buy tickets to watch the Olympic events? Speed, strategy, and spectacle come together in a discipline that ignites the crowd. ### PGS #### Snowboard Two athletes race side by side on parallel courses in a challenge of precision and speed, where every hundredth of a second can make the difference. ### Slopestyle #### Freestyle skiing & Snowboard A course combining rails, jumps, and creative features, where athletes interpret the slope with freedom and imagination.
