We encourage you to bring a blanket, bring food (or preorder delicious freshly made goodies from Ida's Kitchen below) and enjoy spending time with our community as the stars and moon rise. We'll also have traditional music and dance by CAAM Chinese Dance Theater.
Food for purchase is available via pre-order ONLY. Pre-ordering ends at noon on October 2nd. There will be no food for sale at the event.

Mid-Autumn Festival, Zhongqiu Jie (中秋节) in Chinese, is also called the Mooncake Festival or the Moon Festival.
As the second most important festival in China after Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn is an official public holiday. In 2025, the festival falls on October 6th.
In China, Mid-Autumn Festival is a reunion time for families. Chinese people celebrate it by gathering for dinners, worshiping the moon, lighting paper lanterns, eating moon cakes, etc.
