"Is it just me, or does Trump appear to be about 4–6 inches shorter than he should be?" one user quizzed, setting off a flood of memes, side-by-side comparisons, and amateur height investigations. According to the White House, there’s no mystery. Normal ageing," one person suggested, as another quipped: "He doesn't even look like he is 6', more like 5'10"." By the time someone reaches their 80s, they may have lost an inch or more.
