First you will flush the toilet to drain the water and remove the phone when the water level is at a minimum.
If the phone is already shut off, you're doomed :(. The phone already shorted out.
If the phone is still on, power off immediately!!! The assure the phone will not short out.
If weather is nice, you can allow your phone to catch some rays of sun and dry out. You may also wrap it in a towel with rope to secure it in and stick it in the dryer. DO NOT STICK IT IN THE MICROWAVE! Believe me.... I've done it.
Once completely dry and phone still off, cleanse/drench your phone in hand sanitizer and wait until completely dry to power on.

Immediately after the cellphone has been dropped, you need to dry it with a towel to prevent further damage. Then, take off the back cover of you Motorola droid turbo. This process can be a little complicated as the cellphone has a sticker that keeps the battery and the back cover attached to each other. Therefore, you would need warm up the back side of the cellphone in order to unstick the battery to the back cover. Once this has been done, dry the inside of the cellphone using an air blower. You should not let your device to become hot. Use the air blower in intervals to achieve this. Finally, use a disinfectant to clean your device and put it back together.

A wet phone is a definite problem .Start by taking the phone apart Clean ever connection with a soft toothbrush. As well clean the logic board use a 99% isopropal alcohol for all cleaning. now is the time to start drying out the phone. Set the screen in a desiccant or silica gel leave it in for several day moving it from time to time to get the max effect from the desiccant . use a blow dryer on a low heat setting to dry the rest of the phone. Only use a hair dryer once you have cleaned the phone completely with the alcohol. Do not attempt to dry the phone if its still wet with water with the blow dryer as this only spreds the water. Replace the battery with a new one consider the old ones done. Clean again with isopropal alcohol let dry and when you think everything is clean and dry reassemble the phone (make sure to clean the contacts on the screen after removing from the desiccant). Once you've reassembled the phone its time to power it on. Hold your breath and hope for the best .

[@gigabit87898](https://www.ifixit.com/User/1555092/Gigabit87898) student assignment. They do this split personality thing. Ask a question and then answer it themselves. Weird ;-)
