Until now.\nThe LG OLED G6 TVs will be even brighter than their predecessors were.\nPhoto: LG Electronics\nLG has just revealed pricing for two of its most eagerly awaited TV series: The premium G6 and mid-range C6 OLED models. And happily, despite both the G6 and C6 series featuring a range of key improvements this year and there being all kinds of global inflationary pressures to contend with, LG has managed to keep pricing more or less at 2025 levels.\nStarting with the more expensive G6es, the expanded range of screen sizes are available to order for the following prices on\nLG’s U.S. website\n:\n55-inch: $2,499.99\n65-inch: $3,399.99\nMORE FOR YOU\n77-inch: $4,499.99\n83-inch: $6,499.99\n97-inch: $24,999.99\nThe 97-inch model looks like quite a stretch for just 14 inches more picture over the 83-inch model – especially as it’s the only model in the G6 range not to benefit from the latest Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel technology. Otherwise, though, pricing looks tempting for serious AV fans who want the best performing TVs LG will have to offer this year without wishing to stretch their finances to the brand’s as yet unpriced but certainly more expensive new Wallpaper TV models, with their ultra-thin designs and fully wireless picture and sound reception.\nThe new G6 series promise 10-20% more brightness than their predecessors, and a new generation of video processing that includes improved upscaling of HD sources and a major (based on demonstrations I’ve seen) improvement on the colour banding with high dynamic range video that was something of an issue with last year’s LG G5 OLED series.\nThe LG C6 series represent LG's best all-round value proposition as always – especially the 77 and 83-inch models, which benefit from the same premium OLED panel technology that the G6 series gets.\nPhoto LG Electronics\nWhile LG’s C series of OLED TVs have in recent years featured a significantly less bright mid-range OLED panel, meanwhile, they’ve always been extremely popular for their combination of the sort of contrast-rich pictures OLED is renowned for, and being significantly more affordable than the G series. This year the C6 series is going to be available for the following confirmed prices:\n42-inch: $1,399.99\n48-inch: $1,599.99\n55-inch: $1,999.99\n65-inch: $2,699.99\n77-inch: $3,699.99\n83-inch: $5,299.99.\nThe 77 and 83-inch models from the C6 range are particularly interesting\/great value this year, since for the first time in generations they feature the same premium OLED panels (which this year means second-generation Primary RGB Tandem technology) found in the step-up G6 series. With the C6 models also benefitting from the same new third generation of LG’s Alpha 11 AI processing, unless you’re particularly excited by the 77 and 83-inch G6s’ more premium design, then the 77 and 83-inch C6es look like a potentially great way to save £800 and £1,200 while getting a very similar picture performance level to their equivalent G6 screens.\nPricing in the U.K. has yet to be confirmed, and may not be available from what I’m hearing until as late as the end of March. Given that U.S. C6 and G6 pricing is the same with the vast majority of screen sizes as it was for last year’s C5 and G5 models, though, hopefully U.K. OLED TV fans can look forward to LG’s TVs there following the U.S. path and at least staying close to 2025 pricing for most models. And happily, despite both the G6 and C6 series featuring a range of key improvements this year and there being all kinds of global inflationary pressures to contend with, LG has managed to keep pricing more or less at 2025 levels. Starting with the more expensive G6es, the expanded range of screen sizes are available to order for the following prices on [LG’s U.S. website](https://www.lg.com/us/oled-evo-tvs): 55-inch: \$2,499.99 65-inch: \$3,399.99 MORE FOR YOU 77-inch: \$4,499.99 83-inch: \$6,499.99 97-inch: \$24,999.99 The 97-inch model looks like quite a stretch for just 14 inches more picture over the 83-inch model – especially as it’s the only model in the G6 range not to benefit from the latest Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel technology. Otherwise, though, pricing looks tempting for serious AV fans who want the best performing TVs LG will have to offer this year without wishing to stretch their finances to the brand’s as yet unpriced but certainly more expensive new Wallpaper TV models, with their ultra-thin designs and fully wireless picture and sound reception. The new G6 series promise 10-20% more brightness than their predecessors, and a new generation of video processing that includes improved upscaling of HD sources and a major (based on demonstrations I’ve seen) improvement on the colour banding with high dynamic range video that was something of an issue with last year’s LG G5 OLED series. The LG C6 series represent LG's best all-round value proposition as always – especially the 77 and 83-inch models, which benefit from the same premium OLED panel technology that the G6 series gets. This year the C6 series is going to be available for the following confirmed prices: 42-inch: \$1,399.99 48-inch: \$1,599.99 55-inch: \$1,999.99 65-inch: \$2,699.99 77-inch: \$3,699.99 83-inch: \$5,299.99. The 77 and 83-inch models from the C6 range are particularly interesting/great value this year, since for the first time in generations they feature the same premium OLED panels (which this year means second-generation Primary RGB Tandem technology) found in the step-up G6 series. With the C6 models also benefitting from the same new third generation of LG’s Alpha 11 AI processing, unless you’re particularly excited by the 77 and 83-inch G6s’ more premium design, then the 77 and 83-inch C6es look like a potentially great way to save £800 and £1,200 while getting a very similar picture performance level to their equivalent G6 screens. Pricing in the U.K. has yet to be confirmed, and may not be available from what I’m hearing until as late as the end of March.
