This video was brought to you by the Dynamic Catholic Ambassadors Club. You're awesome. Do you believe in miracles? Miracles are present. Amazing. Transformative. Possible. You are a miracle. Potential is a beautiful thing. We see it clearly in other people, but often overlook it in ourselves. You are capable of incredible things. Most people live and die without even scratching the surface of their potential. You may have explored your physical limits. You may have even explored your intellectual limits. But have you ever attempted to explore your spiritual capacity? For most people, the answer is no. And that's sad. But it's also exciting because it means there are vast possibilities available to you that you don't even know about yet. Until you do, you'll never know what you are truly capable of. It is time to explore your sole potential. There's a beautiful story in Matthew's Gospel where Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain. There, he is transfigured. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as light. The definition of transfiguration is a complete change of appearance into a more beautiful spiritual state. That is precisely what the disciples are given eyes to see. The rabbi they have walked with, listened to, and followed now radiates a glory that cannot be mistaken or ignored. His glory has always been present, but they were incapable of seeing it. Now, for a brief moment, the veil is lifted. That is God revealed. Moses and Elijah suddenly appear speaking with Jesus. Their presence is deeply significant. Moses represents the law. Elijah represents the prophets. Together, they embody the whole of the Old Testament, now standing in fulfillment before Christ. Everything God has spoken, promised, and prepared through centuries of salvation history converges in this moment. Moses encountered God in the burning bush on Mount Sinai. Elijah encountered God in the still, small voice on Mount Horeb. Now, both stand on another mountain, gazing upon the long-awaited Messiah. God made flesh. Then the cloud descends. The Father's voice breaks through. "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him." The message is unmistakable. Jesus is not one teacher among many. He is the fulfillment of all that came before him. He is the definitive revelation of God. This takes place at a critical time. Jesus is about to set his face toward Jerusalem. The cross is approaching. Betrayal, suffering, and death lie ahead. God knows what the disciples will soon endure. And so He strengthens them with a vision of glory before the darkness descends. Jesus needs them to be clear about exactly who he is. That is the only way that disciples will be able to endure what what Jesus knows is coming their way. The transfiguration is a miraculous revelation. It is also an act of mercy. In the days ahead, it will reassure the disciples that suffering is not the final word. It reveals that God's glory will outlast any sacrifice and that death will not have the last say. God allows them to glimpse the glory of Heaven so they won't lose heart because He knows the many ways the suffering and death of Jesus is just the beginning for the disciples. Peter, overwhelmed and unsure how to respond, wants to stay. He wants to build tents and remain on the mountain. That instinct is deeply human. Who wouldn't want to linger in the presence of such beauty and light? But the transfiguration would be meaningless if it were only something to admire from a distance. Jesus' glory is not revealed simply to impress us. It inspires wonder, yes, but it also meant to inspire collaboration. Most people never witness a vision like the one Peter, James, and John experienced that day. But God has left us an extraordinary way to collaborate with Him. He has given us something simple, practical, and accessible every single day, a way to reflect His light and glory to everyone we meet. And that way is Holy Moments. A Holy Moment is a single moment in which you open yourself to God. You make yourself available to Him. You set aside personal preference and self-interest. And for one moment, you do what you prayerfully believe God is calling you to do. Each Holy Moment is a mini transfiguration. Holy moments allow us to see what is possible, even if only for a fleeting moment. Each Holy Moment reveals who you are capable of being. Get ready to be surprised. Each time you collaborate with God to create a holy moment, you will be amazed at how something so simple can have such an impact. You collaborate with God to create a holy moment. Each time you choose love over indifference, patience over irritation, generosity over comfort. You collaborate with God to create a holy moment each time you decide to make a difference in another person's life. These choices, they may seem small, but each one expands your capacity to love. Holy Moments are transformational. They change us and they change the world. Just as the disciples saw Jesus differently on the mountain, holy moments allow us to see ourselves differently. They prove what grace can accomplish in us and through us. They give us a glimpse of who we were made to be. With every holy moment, you bring a little more of God's light into a world that is often dark. With every holy moment, you you unleash a little more of your soul potential. Perhaps more than any other miracle, the transfiguration is an endless source of hope. Whenever you find yourself doubting your own worth or your own purpose, bring this miracle to mind. Allow it to remind you and convince you of your dignity. You are meant to bear the light and glory of God to the world. God could act without you, but He chooses collaboration. He waits for your yes. He honors your freedom. He allows you to participate in His work. How do we participate? One holy moment at a time. The Transfiguration is not only about revealing who Jesus is, it's about revealing who you are becoming. Our faith assures us that one day the transformation will be complete. One day, every veil will fall away. Until then, we practice holiness in the ordinary. We cooperate with grace in small, faithful ways. We choose Holy Moments, one Holy Moment at a time. And in doing so, we keep alive the hope of the final miracle of all, that we will live forever in heaven, basking in the glory of God. The world needs Holy Moments. Imagine how different the world would be when the sun goes down tonight if every single person collaborated with God to create just one Holy Moment. Trust. Surrender. Believe. Receive. God doesn't need your strength. He wants your surrender. In today's lesson, it is time to explore your soul potential. Start collaborating with God to create Holy Moments. One holy moment at a time, God will reveal to you who you are capable of becoming. Your soul potential is vast. It's time to engage it. Each Holy Moment allows God to transfigure you quietly from the inside out. Don't underestimate the power of a single choice made with love. One holy moment can change the direction of your life. And a lifetime of Holy Moments prepares our souls for eternal glory with God. And today's virtue is faithfulness. To be faithful means to be unfailingly loyal, reliable, and trustworthy. The virtue of faithfulness is an invitation to place Jesus at the center of our lives and to protect His centrality against the constant temptation to place ourselves at the center of everything. Faithfulness trusts that small, consistent choices matter. That every Holy Moment is seen by God and contributes to our transformation. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen. God of miracles, wonders, and grace. I thank you for all the good you have done in my life. For the miracles I recognize. And the many graces I so often overlook. I open my heart completely to you today. Inviting you to completely inhabit my soul. So that through me. Others may encounter your love. Your mercy. Your compassion. Your kindness. And your staggering generosity. Amen. Amen. Amen. Don't let the world steal your wonder. See you tomorrow. See you tomorrow. Have a great day. Have a great day!
