And after perusing the new line, it’s clear that the answer is quite a few. \nThe\n35-piece collection\nis meant to be both decorative and functional, collected rather than coordinated. King took inspiration for his glass and onyx vessels, brass lamps, and lacquered pieces from sculpture and ceramics seen during museum visits. “Art was a big influence from the beginning,” he recalls. “From there I started sketching bowls, vases, containers. Pieces with presence whether they’re holding fruit, flowers, or nothing at all.”\nA number of the items range from $80 to $610, including statuesque brass vases and an\novular onyx box\n. But there are some striking big ticket items, too, like a $2,800 brass\negg-shaped lamp\nand $1,300 red lacquered nesting tables. The timeless silhouettes are what first drew me in: a\nspherical pitcher\nwith a dramatically skinny neck, decorative bowl that curves inward just so, and\nlamp base\nmade up of two brass droplets.\n“I kept thinking about surfaces and how they hold light,” King says. “Brass reflecting a room. Thick glass carrying color. Lacquered wood with that quiet sheen.” Like a table at a flea market, there are all sorts of textures and weights to engage with. \nLeading up to the launch, King has been enjoying the pieces in his own home. He likes to shift objects from room to room to see how they behave in different nooks or light until they find their place. “The collection grew out of that instinct—wanting to create objects that feel like they were discovered over time rather than designed all at once,” he notes. When I got word that stylist and creative director [Colin King](https://www.instagram.com/colinking/?hl=en) and [Zara Home](https://www.zarahome.com/us/colin-king-editorial-n5585?celement=1020730770) were coming out with a collaboration, it wasn’t a matter of *if* I would buy anything, but *how many* things. And after perusing the new line, it’s clear that the answer is quite a few. The [35-piece collection](https://www.zarahome.com/us/colin-king-n5584) is meant to be both decorative and functional, collected rather than coordinated. King took inspiration for his glass and onyx vessels, brass lamps, and lacquered pieces from sculpture and ceramics seen during museum visits. “Art was a big influence from the beginning,” he recalls. “From there I started sketching bowls, vases, containers. Pieces with presence whether they’re holding fruit, flowers, or nothing at all.” ![Zara-Home-x-Colin-King-Domino-07](https://www.domino.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Zara-Home-x-Colin-King-Domino-07.jpg?strip=all&quality=85&w=1080) A number of the items range from \$80 to \$610, including statuesque brass vases and an [ovular onyx box](https://www.zarahome.com/us/oval-onyx-box-i-colin-king-l46345043). But there are some striking big ticket items, too, like a \$2,800 brass [egg-shaped lamp](https://www.zarahome.com/us/petit-egg-lamp-i-colin-king-l46347047) and \$1,300 red lacquered nesting tables. The timeless silhouettes are what first drew me in: a [spherical pitcher](https://www.zarahome.com/us/satin-glass-pitcher-i-colin-king-l46342213) with a dramatically skinny neck, decorative bowl that curves inward just so, and [lamp base](https://www.zarahome.com/us/droplet-lamp-i-colin-king-l46350047) made up of two brass droplets. “I kept thinking about surfaces and how they hold light,” King says. “Brass reflecting a room. Thick glass carrying color. Lacquered wood with that quiet sheen.” Like a table at a flea market, there are all sorts of textures and weights to engage with. Leading up to the launch, King has been enjoying the pieces in his own home. He likes to shift objects from room to room to see how they behave in different nooks or light until they find their place. “The collection grew out of that instinct—wanting to create objects that feel like they were discovered over time rather than designed all at once,” he notes.
