Readable Markdown	Beloved British crime drama Unforgotten, which starred Nicola Walker in its first four seasons, will be leaving Netflix very soon. The ITV series, created and written by Chris Lang, focused on the working partnership between Walker's DCI Cassie Stuart and her colleague DI Sunil 'Sunny' Khan (played by Sanjeev Bhaskar). The USP of Unforgotten is that the detectives are working hard to crack cold and previously unsolved cases, with the first season telling the story of a missing boy, whose remains are discovered years later during building works in a London house. Unforgotten is widely adored by fans, and has also garnered critical acclaim since first premiering in 2015. Fans on IMDb have been keen to share their praise, with [one branding it](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4192812/review/rw3636965/?ref_=tturv_6) "the epitome of British crime dramas". "Truly a UK crime drama at its best," another [added](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4192812/review/rw6788231/?ref_=tturv_7), before they went on to highlight Walker's "brilliant" performance and to call the show "exceptional". Seasons two and three also boast a perfect 100% score individually. Nicola Walker's Cassie Stuart doesn't feature beyond the season four finale, with her story reaching an emotional conclusion (we won't spoil that here though, if you're unfamiliar and wish to binge-watch the first four seasons before they are removed from Netflix). A brand-new Detective Chief Inspector – Jessie James – was [introduced at the start of the fifth season](https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/a43022039/unforgotten-series-5-review-cassie-replacement/), with fan-favourite character Sunny Khan returning to keep a sense of familiarity. DCI James is played by the brilliant Sinéad Keenan, who also more-recently starred in Netflix's own murder-mystery How to Get to Heaven from Belfast* from Derry Girls' creator Lisa McGee. In that, Keenan was joined by Roisin Gallagher and Caoilfhionn Dunne and the characters of those three central women embarked on a thrilling journey in search of answers after the sudden death of their childhood friend. The first four seasons of Unforgotten are streaming on Netflix, but will be leaving the platform on 11 March.
