entire home setup i need to address a few elephants in\n00:33\nthe room the apple vision pro can do a lot more than just media consumption it's capable of spatial\n00:39\ncomputing and vr gaming but to keep things simple i'm gonna put both devices head to head to see\n00:45\nwhich outperforms the other when it comes to the audio experience watching movies watching sports\n00:51\nand gaming i'm expecting this to be a pretty controversial video so i'm counting on you\n00:57\nguys to argue it out in the comments down below\n01:07\nmovies one of the main reasons people are buying their oled tvs and a soundbar system is to get the\n01:13\nbest movie and tv experience possible disney plus is great for watching movies because they have things\n01:20\nimax enhanced that means the entire screen gets taken up during certain scenes spoiler warning\n01:26\nfor avengers infinity war technically but honestly if you haven't seen avengers infinity war what are\n01:32\nyou doing all right we're gonna lower the lights make this a little more of a cinematic experience\n01:46\ni've seen this movie so many times and it continues to just be one of those like wow moments the\n01:53\nlg's ability to\n01:54\nshowcase those really bright colors so the hdr really pops but because it's oled we have that pitch black effect\n02:01\nso\n02:02\nit's it's an lg oled it's gonna look fantastic with any sort of hdr content\n02:08\nall right let's check out watching movies on vision pro i'm here in my virtual vision pro mode so you\n02:17\nguys can see me oh god that scared me\n02:22\nuh just kind of jumped out at me what's cool about vision pro is the fact that you have the\n02:28\nability to\n02:28\nmove things where you'd like so by simply pinching i'm able to move the screen close to me but also\n02:34\nthe fact that it can take you places if you want to create an environment all you have to do\n02:39\nis turn\n02:40\nthe knob at the very top this is pretty sweet check this out i can go to environments and look\n02:47\nat what\n02:47\ni have access to the disney plus theater alien earth avengers tower so you kind of guessing what i'm\n02:53\ngoing to do already look at this i am on top of the avengers tower and keep in mind that\n02:58\nthe vision\n02:58\npro records things in 1080p but i'm seeing this in incredibly sharp resolution it's 4k per eye\n03:05\nit is so detailed it feels like i'm actually there there's a chair over here i've got fun little\n03:11\neaster eggs about we no longer make weapons sincerely tony stark got some shawarma and another thing you can\n03:17\ndo as well is you can watch 3d movies so if i wanted to watch that scene again but in\n03:22\n3d i can do it\n03:26\nand look at this little detail here i've started the movie and what happens it darkens the environment\n03:31\nso it really creates that feeling wow look at that\n03:38\nyou're literally in avengers tower it's so cool all the little easter eggs and the detail is incredible\n03:46\nheads up viewers the apple vision pro protects copyrighted material from being screen recorded\n03:50\nso you're going to see a black screen while i'm watching stuff enjoy\n03:59\ni mean this is amazing you have all those full controls if you want to make it larger or smaller\n04:06\nit stays right in front of you now the vision pro also uses an oled screen and it's a micro\n04:12\noled\n04:12\npanel that apple developed so you're still getting hdr you're still getting 4k it does a really really\n04:19\ngreat job you're not compromising at all on the visual experience being able to go into really\n04:25\ncool environments was pretty remarkable on the vision pro however i found that the hdr and dolby\n04:30\natmos performance on the lg with the soundbar provided a better experience so this round goes to lg\n04:45\nso i have the q 990d soundbar system which is capable of dolby atmos so i'm going to go ahead\n04:51\nand\n04:51\nhop onto apple tv and i'm going to put on one of my favorite movies to test dolby atmos which\n04:57\nis a quiet\n04:58\nplace this scene's awesome because you can really hear where the aliens are coming from\n05:10\nyeah so as it's destroying things and it's upstairs to me it's hard to tell on camera but it sounds\n05:17\nlike it's actually coming from upstairs that's the effect that dolby atmos can create\n05:23\nanother great dolby atmos movie to see is the edge of tomorrow so it's something like edge of tomorrow\n05:29\nhe's deploying from the ship he's spinning around so you fully hear that all around you\n05:39\nwar movies sci-fi movies when there's a lot of things going on dolby atmos really stands out\n05:48\nit's hard to beat got the airpods pro 3 and what they do is they support dolby atmos just like\n05:54\ni\n05:54\ndemonstrated with the lg so it's going to allow me to feel that bubble so we're going to go ahead\n06:01\nand we are going to watch a quiet place\n06:08\nyeah type of audio experience out in the middle of the\n06:32\ndesert it does a great job but i'm going to give the point to the lg because a dedicated soundbar\n06:37\nsystem\n06:37\nwas still performing better in the audio department than my headphones so another point to lg\n06:50\nlg oled tvs are fantastic for sports they have really good motion smoothing which means that a\n06:56\nlot of the fast action going on looks really good sometimes tvs will kind of stutter if they don't\n07:00\nhave good motion smoothing there aren't any games going on at the time of filming this but i am watching\n07:05\nthe highlights of the celtics and wizards game so you know looks really great it's 1080p 60 fps great\n07:12\ncolors good brightness i have the volume turned down because i'm talking to the camera but one of the\n07:17\ndownsides of watching sports on an oled is that a lot of options for seeing it in 4k resolution with\n07:23\nhdr turned on which is one of the best things about an lg oled or any oled tv is the\n07:29\nhdr performance\n07:31\nyou don't really have that a lot with sports i mean you try to watch a game it's usually going\n07:35\nto be 1080p and the 4k options are hdr the handful of times i have seen sports in 4k hdr they've looked fantastic but\n07:55\nthey're just not that commonly available i'm a big soccer fan for example i love the ability to watch\n08:00\nthe english premier league in 4k hdr but again it's very expensive to get those options you can't just\n08:07\nsee it through peacock or paramount plus for example where they're streaming these soccer games so lg oled\n08:13\ndoes a great job you know if most tvs are even going to be showing things in 1080p anyways you're\n08:18\nstill\n08:18\ngoing to take advantage of that brightness and the motion smoothing so yeah it's it's it's great um\n08:24\ndon't really have much complaints it's it's more on the streamers so streamers come on more 4k hdr\n08:30\ncontent please interesting features that you can play with i\n09:06\ndon't\n09:06\nhave a membership so i can't see the full game replay but basically you have the ability to watch the\n09:12\ngame and then create this multi-view so as you're watching the game you have live statistics on the\n09:17\nleft you're able to see things like assists rebounds field goals you've got other games going on the\n09:22\nbottom you can see stats about the players um what a game by jalen brown 35 points wow started well\n09:31\ntoo 31 but yeah you have the ability to fully customize this so you can do a multi-view setup\n09:36\nlook at this\n09:37\ni now have my game stats right here and i can tweak what i want to see and how i\n09:43\nwant to design it\n09:44\nhe highlights full games this is really really cool and then there are those experiences with vision pro\n09:51\nwhere it feels like you're actually in the stadium what they're doing is they're putting a 360 camera\n09:55\nup to 8k resolution in the actual game so you are seated there so when you're sitting there looking\n10:01\naround it does a really great job so watching a game like this which is a lot more analytical\n10:05\nis really really cool um i know apple tv has a really great demonstration of this yeah this is\n10:15\nabsolutely incredible i'm right here with the players because of those copyright issues i\n10:19\nmentioned earlier i once again can't show you what this looks like however i found this footage on reddit\n10:24\nfrom the vantage app which does a good job of showing what it's like to be courtside at a sporting\n10:29\nevent\n10:30\ni am sitting courtside right now both do a really great job with sports i'm going to give this one\n10:35\nto the vision pro because the vision pro is allowing you to actually be immersed in the stadium you're\n10:40\nyou're on the field you're courtside and you're doing it from the comfort of your own home vision pro\n10:45\ntakes this point can it start a comeback\n10:55\ni've got the ps5 pro with me we're going to start off with resident evil 4 remake something the lg\n11:01\noleds have always done really well is have the ability to support high frame rates and games and\n11:07\nwhat that allows you to do is have up to 120 frames per second so this is the lg gaming\n11:12\nmenu and you\n11:13\ncan see i have 92 frames per second 94 93 it's it's a variable refresh rate that's what vrr stands\n11:20\nfor\n11:20\nnow the way i'm going to play this level for those of you who may not have played resident evil\n11:25\ni would not recommend doing it this way but i'm going to basically just\n11:28\nget right into the action here um and just cause some chaos\n11:39\nall right yeah like i said it's on hard to go easy on me okay any sort of 4k hdr\n11:47\ngame is going\n11:48\nto look really great on the lg obviously if you want to do vr gaming you're going to want a\n11:52\nvision\n11:53\npro or a competing headset for this scenario we're going to look at what the console experience\n11:57\nis like you want to play some ps5 is that possible it is but you have to stream it so\n12:03\nthis is px play\n12:05\nand it allows you to connect using wi-fi to your ps5 sort of like remote play i've got my\n12:12\npurple dual\n12:13\nsense controller in my hands i've already paired it to vision pro using bluetooth so it's already\n12:18\nconnected you can see the thing right there i'm going to go ahead and make it spooky\n12:23\nwhich is dark cool all right now we have nowhere to run in case i die so the audio experience\n12:33\nhere\n12:34\nyeah really good so we're going to go to the exact same spot that we were at earlier when we\n12:39\ntried this\n12:39\nout yeah i have a really good internet okay and this is this is uh it's okay there's a lot\n12:46\nof latency\n12:46\ntruthfully not great guys i'll be honest it's not great it a lot of latency here there are games you\n12:53\ncan get on vision pro that use the controller so it is possible to play some there and they don't\n12:59\nhave a lot of latency but if you're looking for that console experience or a pc connected to a big\n13:04\nscreen i just can't recommend this there's ways to connect the vision pro to your display that has\n13:09\nless latency and uses like it's an hdmi trick basically if you guys want to see a video on how\n13:15\nto\n13:15\nconnect your vision pro to things like a switch 2 or other consoles without using remote play\n13:19\nlet me know in the comments we can do a deeper dive but if you're planning on gaming on a\n13:22\nconsole\n13:23\nthe lg gets this point it's an easy point to give out so gaming it's going to go to the\n13:28\nlg\n13:29\nokay there you have it the vision pro is really impressive i think what it can do to create these\n13:35\nimmersive spaces and environments and really large screens plus dolby atmos support makes watching\n13:42\ncontent on it pretty remarkable if you're somebody who already has a tv setup and is looking for\n13:47\nsomething that can be a really high-end theater experience on the go i think the vision pro is a\n13:52\nreally great product but at the current moment the lg oled tv with the soundbar system i think is still\n13:59\nthe best setup for most people so the lg wins this showdown but the vision pro still left me players because of those copyright issues i\n\n10:19mentioned earlier i once again can't show you what this looks like however i found this footage on reddit\n\n10:24from the vantage app which does a good job of showing what it's like to be courtside at a sporting\n\n10:29event\n\n10:30i am sitting courtside right now both do a really great job with sports i'm going to give this one\n\n10:35to the vision pro because the vision pro is allowing you to actually be immersed in the stadium you're\n\n10:40you're on the field you're courtside and you're doing it from the comfort of your own home vision pro\n\n10:45takes this point can it start a comeback\n\n10:55i've got the ps5 pro with me we're going to start off with resident evil 4 remake something the lg\n\n11:01oleds have always done really well is have the ability to support high frame rates and games and\n\n11:07what that allows you to do is have up to 120 frames per second so this is the lg gaming\n\n11:12menu and you\n\n11:13can see i have 92 frames per second 94 93 it's it's a variable refresh rate that's what vrr stands\n\n11:20for\n\n11:20now the way i'm going to play this level for those of you who may not have played resident evil\n\n11:25i would not recommend doing it this way but i'm going to basically just\n\n11:28get right into the action here um and just cause some chaos\n\n11:39all right yeah like i said it's on hard to go easy on me okay any sort of 4k hdr\n\n11:47game is going\n\n11:48to look really great on the lg obviously if you want to do vr gaming you're going to want a\n\n11:52vision\n\n11:53pro or a competing headset for this scenario we're going to look at what the console experience\n\n11:57is like you want to play some ps5 is that possible it is but you have to stream it so\n\n12:03this is px play\n\n12:05and it allows you to connect using wi-fi to your ps5 sort of like remote play i've got my\n\n12:12purple dual\n\n12:13sense controller in my hands i've already paired it to vision pro using bluetooth so it's already\n\n12:18connected you can see the thing right there i'm going to go ahead and make it spooky\n\n12:23which is dark cool all right now we have nowhere to run in case i die so the audio experience\n\n12:33here\n\n12:34yeah really good so we're going to go to the exact same spot that we were at earlier when we\n\n12:39tried this\n\n12:39out yeah i have a really good internet okay and this is this is uh it's okay there's a lot\n\n12:46of latency\n\n12:46truthfully not great guys i'll be honest it's not great it a lot of latency here there are games you\n\n12:53can get on vision pro that use the controller so it is possible to play some there and they don't\n\n12:59have a lot of latency but if you're looking for that console experience or a pc connected to a big\n\n13:04screen i just can't recommend this there's ways to connect the vision pro to your display that has\n\n13:09less latency and uses like it's an hdmi trick basically if you guys want to see a video on how\n\n13:15to\n\n13:15connect your vision pro to things like a switch 2 or other consoles without using remote play\n\n13:19let me know in the comments we can do a deeper dive but if you're planning on gaming on a\n\n13:22console\n\n13:23the lg gets this point it's an easy point to give out so gaming it's going to go to the\n\n13:28lg\n\n13:29okay there you have it the vision pro is really impressive i think what it can do to create these\n\n13:35immersive spaces and environments and really large screens plus dolby atmos support makes watching\n\n13:42content on it pretty remarkable if you're somebody who already has a tv setup and is looking for\n\n13:47something that can be a really high-end theater experience on the go i think the vision pro is a\n\n13:52really great product but at the current moment the lg oled tv with the soundbar system i think is still\n\n13:59the best setup for most people so the lg after moving into my new apartments but after spending time with the new apple vision\n\n00:21pro with the m5 chip and airpods pro 3 i realized i can get a similar oled hdr and dolby\n\n00:27atmos\n\n00:27experience for only a little more than my entire home setup i need to address a few elephants in\n\n00:33the room the apple vision pro can do a lot more than just media consumption it's capable of spatial\n\n00:39computing and vr gaming but to keep things simple i'm gonna put both devices head to head to see\n\n00:45which outperforms the other when it comes to the audio experience watching movies watching sports\n\n00:51and gaming i'm expecting this to be a pretty controversial video so i'm counting on you\n\n00:57guys to argue it out in the comments down below\n\n01:07movies one of the main reasons people are buying their oled tvs and a soundbar system is to get the\n\n01:13best movie and tv experience possible disney plus is great for watching movies because they have things\n\n01:20imax enhanced that means the entire screen gets taken up during certain scenes spoiler warning\n\n01:26for avengers infinity war technically but honestly if you haven't seen avengers infinity war what are\n\n01:32you doing all right we're gonna lower the lights make this a little more of a cinematic experience\n\n01:46i've seen this movie so many times and it continues to just be one of those like wow moments the\n\n01:53lg's ability to\n\n01:54showcase those really bright colors so the hdr really pops but because it's oled we have that pitch black effect\n\n02:01so\n\n02:02it's it's an lg oled it's gonna look fantastic with any sort of hdr content\n\n02:08all right let's check out watching movies on vision pro i'm here in my virtual vision pro mode so you\n\n02:17guys can see me oh god that scared me\n\n02:22uh just kind of jumped out at me what's cool about vision pro is the fact that you have the\n\n02:28ability to\n\n02:28move things where you'd like so by simply pinching i'm able to move the screen close to me but also\n\n02:34the fact that it can take you places if you want to create an environment all you have to do\n\n02:39is turn\n\n02:40the knob at the very top this is pretty sweet check this out i can go to environments and look\n\n02:47at what\n\n02:47i have access to the disney plus theater alien earth avengers tower so you kind of guessing what i'm\n\n02:53going to do already look at this i am on top of the avengers tower and keep in mind that\n\n02:58the vision\n\n02:58pro records things in 1080p but i'm seeing this in incredibly sharp resolution it's 4k per eye\n\n03:05it is so detailed it feels like i'm actually there there's a chair over here i've got fun little\n\n03:11easter eggs about we no longer make weapons sincerely tony stark got some shawarma and another thing you can\n\n03:17do as well is you can watch 3d movies so if i wanted to watch that scene again but in\n\n03:223d i can do it\n\n03:26and look at this little detail here i've started the movie and what happens it darkens the environment\n\n03:31so it really creates that feeling wow look at that\n\n03:38you're literally in avengers tower it's so cool all the little easter eggs and the detail is incredible\n\n03:46heads up viewers the apple vision pro protects copyrighted material from being screen recorded\n\n03:50so you're going to see a black screen while i'm watching stuff enjoy\n\n03:59i mean this is amazing you have all those full controls if you want to make it larger or smaller\n\n04:06it stays right in front of you now the vision pro also uses an oled screen and it's a micro\n\n04:12oled\n\n04:12panel that apple developed so you're still getting hdr you're still getting 4k it does a really really\n\n04:19great job you're not compromising at all on the visual experience being able to go into really\n\n04:25cool environments was pretty remarkable on the vision pro however i found that the hdr and dolby\n\n04:30atmos performance on the lg with the soundbar provided a better experience so this round goes to lg\n\n04:45so i have the q 990d soundbar system which is capable of dolby atmos so i'm going to go ahead\n\n04:51and\n\n04:51hop onto apple tv and i'm going to put on one of my favorite movies to test dolby atmos which\n\n04:57is a quiet\n\n04:58place this scene's awesome because you can really hear where the aliens are coming from\n\n05:10yeah so as it's destroying things and it's upstairs to me it's hard to tell on camera but it sounds\n\n05:17like it's actually coming from upstairs that's the effect that dolby atmos can create\n\n05:23another great dolby atmos movie to see is the edge of tomorrow so it's something like edge of tomorrow\n\n05:29he's deploying from the ship he's spinning around so you fully hear that all around you\n\n05:39war movies sci-fi movies when there's a lot of things going on dolby atmos really stands out\n\n05:48it's hard to beat got the airpods pro 3 and what they do is they support dolby atmos just like\n\n05:54i\n\n05:54demonstrated with the lg so it's going to allow me to feel that bubble so we're going to go ahead\n\n06:01and we are going to watch a quiet place\n\n06:08yeah this is this is incredible\n\n06:12it's doing a great job of just creating that bubble it sounds like the aliens are exactly\n\n06:16upstairs i'm going to switch over now to edge of tomorrow the vision pro does a great job of\n\n06:22creating that space in that environment watching stuff on this really is remarkable not only is it\n\n06:27remarkable but it's pretty terrifying to have this type of audio experience out in the middle of the\n\n06:32desert it does a great job but i'm going to give the point to the lg because a dedicated soundbar\n\n06:37system\n\n06:37was still performing better in the audio department than my headphones so another point to lg\n\n06:50lg oled tvs are fantastic for sports they have really good motion smoothing which means that a\n\n06:56lot of the fast action going on looks really good sometimes tvs will kind of stutter if they don't\n\n07:00have good motion smoothing there aren't any games going on at the time of filming this but i am watching\n\n07:05the highlights of the celtics and wizards game so you know looks really great it's 1080p 60 fps great\n\n07:12colors good brightness i have the volume turned down because i'm talking to the camera but one of the\n\n07:17downsides of watching sports on an oled is that a lot of options for seeing it in 4k resolution with\n\n07:23hdr turned on which is one of the best things about an lg oled or any oled tv is the\n\n07:29hdr performance\n\n07:31you don't really have that a lot with sports i mean you try to watch a game it's usually going\n\n07:35to be 1080p and the 4k options are usually available in more premium places like certain youtube tv\n\n07:41packages fubo things that cost a lot of money so most people don't have the ability to even fully\n\n07:47enjoy sports in 4k hdr the handful of times i have seen sports in 4k hdr they've looked fantastic but\n\n07:55they're just not that commonly available i'm a big soccer fan for example i love the ability to watch\n\n08:00the english premier league in 4k hdr but again it's very expensive to get those options you can't just\n\n08:07see it through peacock or paramount plus for example where they're streaming these soccer games so lg oled\n\n08:13does a great job you know if most tvs are even going to be showing things in 1080p anyways you're\n\n08:18still\n\n08:18going to take advantage of that brightness and the motion smoothing so yeah it's it's it's great um\n\n08:24don't really have much complaints it's it's more on the streamers so streamers come on more 4k hdr\n\n08:30content please make it more easily available i got the vision pro on and right off the bat if you're\n\n08:35looking to buy something where you can watch sports with your friends uh i wouldn't get the vision pro\n\n08:41because you're not going to be able to invite them over to watch content together on the vision pro if\n\n08:45they don't already have one wait then why am i here that's a good question i don't have an answer\n\n08:53yeah yeah all right well i just lost a friend so we're gonna go to the nba app and what's\n\n09:00cool\n\n09:00about the nba app is that you have a lot of really interesting features that you can play with i\n\n09:06don't\n\n09:06have a membership so i can't see the full game replay but basically you have the ability to watch the\n\n09:12game and then create this multi-view so as you're watching the game you have live statistics on the\n\n09:17left you're able to see things like assists rebounds field goals you've got other games going on the\n\n09:22bottom you can see stats about the players um what a game by jalen brown 35 points wow started well\n\n09:31too 31 but yeah you have the ability to fully customize this so you can do a multi-view setup\n\n09:36look at this\n\n09:37i now have my game stats right here and i can tweak what i want to see and how i\n\n09:43want to design it\n\n09:44he highlights full games this is really really cool and then there are those experiences with vision pro\n\n09:51where it feels like you're actually in the stadium what they're doing is they're putting a 360 camera\n\n09:55up to 8k resolution in the actual game so you are seated there so when you're sitting there looking\n\n10:01around it does a really great job so watching a game like this which is a lot more analytical\n\n10:05is really really cool um i know apple tv has a really great demonstration of this yeah this is\n\n10:15absolutely incredible i'm right here with the already paired it to vision pro using bluetooth so it's already\n\n12:18connected you can see the thing right there i'm going to go ahead and make it spooky\n\n12:23which is dark cool all right now we have nowhere to run in case i die so the audio experience\n\n12:33here\n\n12:34yeah really good so we're going to go to the exact same spot that we were at earlier when we\n\n12:39tried this\n\n12:39out yeah i have a really good internet okay and this is this is uh it's okay there's a lot\n\n12:46of latency\n\n12:46truthfully not great guys i'll be honest it's not great it a lot of latency here there are games you\n\n12:53can get on vision pro that use the controller so it is possible to play some there and they don't\n\n12:59have a lot of latency but if you're looking for that console experience or a pc connected to a big\n\n13:04screen i just can't recommend this there's ways to connect the vision pro to your display that has\n\n13:09less latency and uses like it's an hdmi trick basically if you guys want to see a video on how\n\n13:15to\n\n13:15connect your vision pro to things like a switch 2 or other consoles without using remote play\n\n13:19let me know in the comments we can do a deeper dive but if you're planning on gaming on a\n\n13:22console\n\n13:23the lg gets this point it's an easy point to give out so gaming it's going to go to samsung q990d buying them was 00:17 my top priority after moving into my new apartments but after spending time with the new apple vision 00:21 pro with the m5 chip and airpods pro 3 i realized i can get a similar oled hdr and dolby 00:27 atmos 00:27 experience for only a little more than my entire home setup i need to address a few elephants in 00:33 the room the apple vision pro can do a lot more than just media consumption it's capable of spatial 00:39 computing and vr gaming but to keep things simple i'm gonna put both devices head to head to see 00:45 which outperforms the other when it comes to the audio experience watching movies watching sports 00:51 and gaming i'm expecting this to be a pretty controversial video so i'm counting on you 00:57 guys to argue it out in the comments down below 01:07 movies one of the main reasons people are buying their oled tvs and a soundbar system is to get the 01:13 best movie and tv experience possible disney plus is great for watching movies because they have things 01:20 imax enhanced that means the entire screen gets taken up during certain scenes spoiler warning 01:26 for avengers infinity war technically but honestly if you haven't seen avengers infinity war what are 01:32 you doing all right we're gonna lower the lights make this a little more of a cinematic experience 01:46 i've seen this movie so many times and it continues to just be one of those like wow moments the 01:53 lg's ability to 01:54 showcase those really bright colors so the hdr really pops but because it's oled we have that pitch black effect 02:01 so 02:02 it's it's an lg oled it's gonna look fantastic with any sort of hdr content 02:08 all right let's check out watching movies on vision pro i'm here in my virtual vision pro mode so you 02:17 guys can see me oh god that scared me 02:22 uh just kind of jumped out at me what's cool about vision pro is the fact that you have the 02:28 ability to 02:28 move things where you'd like so by simply pinching i'm able to move the screen close to me but also 02:34 the fact that it can take you places if you want to create an environment all you have to do 02:39 is turn 02:40 the knob at the very top this is pretty sweet check this out i can go to environments and look 02:47 at what 02:47 i have access to the disney plus theater alien earth avengers tower so you kind of guessing what i'm 02:53 going to do already look at this i am on top of the avengers tower and keep in mind that 02:58 the vision 02:58 pro records things in 1080p but i'm seeing this in incredibly sharp resolution it's 4k per eye 03:05 it is so detailed it feels like i'm actually there there's a chair over here i've got fun little 03:11 easter eggs about we no longer make weapons sincerely tony stark got some shawarma and another thing you can 03:17 do as well is you can watch 3d movies so if i wanted to watch that scene again but in 03:22 3d i can do it 03:26 and look at this little detail here i've started the movie and what happens it darkens the environment 03:31 so it really creates that feeling wow look at that 03:38 you're literally in avengers tower it's so cool all the little easter eggs and the detail is incredible 03:46 heads up viewers the apple vision pro protects copyrighted material from being screen recorded 03:50 so you're going to see a black screen while i'm watching stuff enjoy 03:59 i mean this is amazing you have all those full controls if you want to make it larger or smaller 04:06 it stays right in front of you now the vision pro also uses an oled screen and it's a micro 04:12 oled 04:12 panel that apple developed so you're still getting hdr you're still getting 4k it does a really really 04:19 great job you're not compromising at all on the visual experience being able to go into really 04:25 cool environments was pretty remarkable on the vision pro however i found that the hdr and dolby 04:30 atmos performance on the lg with the soundbar provided a better experience so this round goes to lg 04:45 so i have the q 990d soundbar system which is capable of dolby atmos so i'm going to go ahead 04:51 and 04:51 hop onto apple tv and i'm going to put on one of my favorite movies to test dolby atmos which 04:57 is a quiet 04:58 place this scene's awesome because you can really hear where the aliens are coming from 05:10 yeah so as it's destroying things and it's upstairs to me it's hard to tell on camera but it sounds 05:17 like it's actually coming from upstairs that's the effect that dolby atmos can create 05:23 another great dolby atmos movie to see is the edge of tomorrow so it's something like edge of tomorrow 05:29 he's deploying from the ship he's spinning around so you fully hear that all around you 05:39 war movies sci-fi movies when there's a lot of things going on dolby atmos really stands out 05:48 it's hard to beat got the airpods pro 3 and what they do is they support dolby atmos just like 05:54 i 05:54 demonstrated with the lg so it's going to allow me to feel that bubble so we're going to go ahead 06:01 and we are going to watch a quiet place 06:08 yeah this is this is incredible 06:12 it's doing a great job of just creating that bubble it sounds like the aliens are exactly 06:16 upstairs i'm going to switch over now to edge of tomorrow the vision pro does a great job of 06:22 creating that space in that environment watching stuff on this really is remarkable not only is it 06:27 remarkable but it's pretty terrifying to have this type of audio experience out in the middle of the 06:32 desert it does a great job but i'm going to give the point to the lg because a dedicated soundbar 06:37 system 06:37 was still performing better in the audio department than my headphones so another point to lg 06:50 lg oled tvs are fantastic for sports they have really good motion smoothing which means that a 06:56 lot of the fast action going on looks really good sometimes tvs will kind of stutter if they don't 07:00 have good motion smoothing there aren't any games going on at the time of filming this but i am watching 07:05 the highlights of the celtics and wizards game so you know looks really great it's 1080p 60 fps great 07:12 colors good brightness i have the volume turned down because i'm talking to the camera but one of the 07:17 downsides of watching sports on an oled is that a lot of options for seeing it in 4k resolution with 07:23 hdr turned on which is one of the best things about an lg oled or any oled tv is the 07:29 hdr performance 07:31 you don't really have that a lot with sports i mean you try to watch a game it's usually going 07:35 to be 1080p and the 4k options are usually available in more premium places like certain youtube tv 07:41 packages fubo things that cost a lot of money so most people don't have the ability to even fully 07:47 enjoy sports in 4k hdr the handful of times i have seen sports in 4k hdr they've looked fantastic but 07:55 they're just not that commonly available i'm a big soccer fan for example i love the ability to watch 08:00 the english premier league in 4k hdr but again it's very expensive to get those options you can't just 08:07 see it through peacock or paramount plus for example where they're streaming these soccer games so lg oled 08:13 does a great job you know if most tvs are even going to be showing things in 1080p anyways you're 08:18 still 08:18 going to take advantage of that brightness and the motion smoothing so yeah it's it's it's great um 08:24 don't really have much complaints it's it's more on the streamers so streamers come on more 4k hdr 08:30 content please make it more easily available i got the vision pro on and right off the bat if you're 08:35 looking to buy something where you can watch sports with your friends uh i wouldn't get the vision pro 08:41 because you're not going to be able to invite them over to watch content together on the vision pro if 08:45 they don't already have one wait then why am i here that's a good question i don't have an answer 08:53 yeah yeah all right well i just lost a friend so we're gonna go to the nba app and what's 09:00 cool 09:00 about the nba app is that you have a lot of really interesting features that you can play with i 09:06 don't 09:06 have a membership so i can't see the full game replay but basically you have the ability to watch the 09:12 game and then create this multi-view so as you're watching the game you have live statistics on the 09:17 left you're able to see things like assists rebounds field goals you've got other games going on the 09:22 bottom you can see stats about the players um what a game by jalen brown 35 points wow started well 09:31 too 31 but yeah you have the ability to fully customize this so you can do a multi-view setup 09:36 look at this 09:37 i now have my game stats right here and i can tweak what i want to see and how i 09:43 want to design it 09:44 he highlights full games this is really really cool and then there are those experiences with vision pro 09:51 where it feels like you're actually in the stadium what they're doing is they're putting a 360 camera 09:55 up to 8k resolution in the actual game so you are seated there so when you're sitting there looking 10:01 around it does a really great job so watching a game like this which is a lot more analytical 10:05 is really really cool um i know apple tv has a really great demonstration of this yeah this is 10:15 absolutely incredible i'm right here with the players because of those copyright issues i 10:19 mentioned earlier i once again can't show you what this looks like however i found this footage on reddit 10:24 from the vantage app which does a good job of showing what it's like to be courtside at a sporting 10:29 event 10:30 i am sitting courtside right now both do a really great job with sports i'm going to give this one 10:35 to the vision pro because the vision pro is allowing you to actually be immersed in the stadium you're 10:40 you're on the field you're courtside and you're doing it from the comfort of your own home vision pro 10:45 takes this point can it start a comeback 10:55 i've got the ps5 pro with me we're going to start off with resident evil 4 remake something the lg 11:01 oleds have always done really well is have the ability to support high frame rates and games and 11:07 what that allows you to do is have up to 120 frames per second so this is the lg gaming 11:12 menu and you 11:13 can see i have 92 frames per second 94 93 it's it's a variable refresh rate that's what vrr stands 11:20 for 11:20 now the way i'm going to play this level for those of you who may not have played resident evil 11:25 i would not recommend doing it this point can it start a comeback 10:55i've got the ps5 pro with me we're going to start off with resident evil 4 remake something the lg 11:01oleds have always done really well is have the ability to support high frame rates and games and 11:07what that allows you to do is have up to 120 frames per second so this is the lg gaming 11:12menu and you 11:13can see i have 92 frames per second 94 93 it's it's a variable refresh rate that's what vrr stands 11:20for 11:20now the way i'm going to play this level for those of you who may not have played resident evil 11:25i would not recommend doing it this way but i'm going to basically just 11:28get right into the action here um and just cause some chaos 11:39all right yeah like i said it's on hard to go easy on me okay any sort of 4k hdr 11:47game is going 11:48to look really great on the lg obviously if you want to do vr gaming you're going to want a 11:52vision 11:53pro or a competing headset for this scenario we're going to look at what the console experience 11:57is like you want to play some ps5 is that possible it is but you have to stream it so 12:03this is px play 12:05and it allows you to connect using wi-fi to your ps5 sort of like remote play i've got my 12:12purple dual 12:13sense controller in my hands i've already paired it to vision pro using bluetooth so it's already 12:18connected you can see the thing right there i'm going to go ahead and make it spooky 12:23which is dark cool all right now we have nowhere to run in case i die so the audio experience 12:33here 12:34yeah really good so we're going to go to the exact same spot that we were at earlier when we 12:39tried this 12:39out yeah i have a really good internet okay and this is this is uh it's okay there's a lot 12:46of latency 12:46truthfully not great guys i'll be honest it's not great it a lot of latency here there are games you 12:53can get on vision pro that use the controller so it is possible to play some there and they don't 12:59have a lot of latency but if you're looking for that console experience or a pc connected to a big 13:04screen i just can't recommend this there's ways to connect the vision pro to your display that has 13:09less latency and uses like it's an hdmi trick basically if you guys want to see a video on how 13:15to 13:15connect your vision pro to things like a switch 2 or other consoles without using remote play 13:19let me know in the comments we can do a deeper dive but if you're planning on gaming on a 13:22console 13:23the lg gets this point it's an easy point to give out so gaming it's going to go to the 13:28lg 13:29okay there you have it the vision pro is really impressive i think what it can do to create these 13:35immersive spaces and environments and really large screens plus dolby atmos support makes watching 13:42content on it pretty remarkable if you're somebody who already has a tv setup and is looking for 13:47something that can be a really high-end theater experience on the go i think the vision pro is a 13:52really great product but at the current moment the lg oled tv with the soundbar system i think is still 13:59the best setup for most people so the lg wins Readable Markdown	00:00can see me oh god that scared me can the apple vision pro replace my 65 inch lg g4 oled 00:08tv when 00:09it comes to watching movies sports and gaming i love my lg g4 and samsung q990d buying them was 00:17my top priority after moving into my new apartments but after spending time with the new apple vision 00:21pro with the m5 chip and airpods pro 3 i realized i can get a similar oled hdr and dolby 00:27atmos 00:27experience for only a little more than my entire home setup i need to address a few elephants in 00:33the room the apple vision pro can do a lot more than just media consumption it's capable of spatial 00:39computing and vr gaming but to keep things simple i'm gonna put both devices head to head to see 00:45which outperforms the other when it comes to the audio experience watching movies watching sports 00:51and gaming i'm expecting this to be a pretty controversial video so i'm counting on you 00:57guys to argue it out in the comments down below 01:07movies one of the main reasons people are buying their oled tvs and a soundbar system is to get the 01:13best movie and tv experience possible disney plus is great for watching movies because they have things 01:20imax enhanced that means the entire screen gets taken up during certain scenes spoiler warning 01:26for avengers infinity war technically but honestly if you haven't seen avengers infinity war what are 01:32you doing all right we're gonna lower the lights make this a little more of a cinematic experience 01:46i've seen this movie so many times and it continues to just be one of those like wow moments the 01:53lg's ability to 01:54showcase those really bright colors so the hdr really pops but because it's oled we have that pitch black effect 02:01so 02:02it's it's an lg oled it's gonna look fantastic with any sort of hdr content 02:08all right let's check out watching movies on vision pro i'm here in my virtual vision pro mode so you 02:17guys can see me oh god that scared me 02:22uh just kind of jumped out at me what's cool about vision pro is the fact that you have the 02:28ability to 02:28move things where you'd like so by simply pinching i'm able to move the screen close to me but also 02:34the fact that it can take you places if you want to create an environment all you have to do 02:39is turn 02:40the knob at the very top this is pretty sweet check this out i can go to environments and look 02:47at what 02:47i have access to the disney plus theater alien earth avengers tower so you kind of guessing what i'm 02:53going to do already look at this i am on top of the avengers tower and keep in mind that 02:58the vision 02:58pro records things in 1080p but i'm seeing this in incredibly sharp resolution it's 4k per eye 03:05it is so detailed it feels like i'm actually there there's a chair over here i've got fun little 03:11easter eggs about we no longer make weapons sincerely tony stark got some shawarma and another thing you can 03:17do as well is you can watch 3d movies so if i wanted to watch that scene again but in 03:223d i can do it 03:26and look at this little detail here i've started the movie and what happens it darkens the environment 03:31so it really creates that feeling wow look at that 03:38you're literally in avengers tower it's so cool all the little easter eggs and the detail is incredible 03:46heads up viewers the apple vision pro protects copyrighted material from being screen recorded 03:50so you're going to see a black screen while i'm watching stuff enjoy 03:59i mean this is amazing you have all those full controls if you want to make it larger or smaller 04:06it stays right in front of you now the vision pro also uses an oled screen and it's a micro 04:12oled 04:12panel that apple developed so you're still getting hdr you're still getting 4k it does a really really 04:19great job you're not compromising at all on the visual experience being able to go into really 04:25cool environments was pretty remarkable on the vision pro however i found that the hdr and dolby 04:30atmos performance on the lg with the soundbar provided a better experience so this round goes to lg 04:45so i have the q 990d soundbar system which is capable of dolby atmos so i'm going to go ahead 04:51and 04:51hop onto apple tv and i'm going to put on one of my favorite movies to test dolby atmos which 04:57is a quiet 04:58place this scene's awesome because you can really hear where the aliens are coming from 05:10yeah so as it's destroying things and it's upstairs to me it's hard to tell on camera but it sounds 05:17like it's actually coming from upstairs that's the effect that dolby atmos can create 05:23another great dolby atmos movie to see is the edge of tomorrow so it's something like edge of tomorrow 05:29he's deploying from the ship he's spinning around so you fully hear that all around you 05:39war movies sci-fi movies when there's a lot of things going on dolby atmos really stands out 05:48it's hard to beat got the airpods pro 3 and what they do is they support dolby atmos just like 05:54i 05:54demonstrated with the lg so it's going to allow me to feel that bubble so we're going to go ahead 06:01and we are going to watch a quiet place 06:08yeah this is this is incredible 06:12it's doing a great job of just creating that bubble it sounds like the aliens are exactly 06:16upstairs i'm going to switch over now to edge of tomorrow the vision pro does a great job of 06:22creating that space in that environment watching stuff on this really is remarkable not only is it 06:27remarkable but it's pretty terrifying to have this type of audio experience out in the middle of the 06:32desert it does a great job but i'm going to give the point to the lg because a dedicated soundbar 06:37system 06:37was still performing better in the audio department than my headphones so another point to lg 06:50lg oled tvs are fantastic for sports they have really good motion smoothing which means that a 06:56lot of the fast action going on looks really good sometimes tvs will kind of stutter if they don't 07:00have good motion smoothing there aren't any games going on at the time of filming this but i am watching 07:05the highlights of the celtics and wizards game so you know looks really great it's 1080p 60 fps great 07:12colors good brightness i have the volume turned down because i'm talking to the camera but one of the 07:17downsides of watching sports on an oled is that a lot of options for seeing it in 4k resolution with 07:23hdr turned on which is one of the best things about an lg oled or any oled tv is the 07:29hdr performance 07:31you don't really have that a lot with sports i mean you try to watch a game it's usually going 07:35to be 1080p and the 4k options are usually available in more premium places like certain youtube tv 07:41packages fubo things that cost a lot of money so most people don't have the ability to even fully 07:47enjoy sports in 4k hdr the handful of times i have seen sports in 4k hdr they've looked fantastic but 07:55they're just not that commonly available i'm a big soccer fan for example i love the ability to watch 08:00the english premier league in 4k hdr but again it's very expensive to get those options you can't just 08:07see it through peacock or paramount plus for example where they're streaming these soccer games so lg oled 08:13does a great job you know if most tvs are even going to be showing things in 1080p anyways you're 08:18still 08:18going to take advantage of that brightness and the motion smoothing so yeah it's it's it's great um 08:24don't really have much complaints it's it's more on the streamers so streamers come on more 4k hdr 08:30content please make it more easily available i got the vision pro on and right off the bat if you're 08:35looking to buy something where you can watch sports with your friends uh i wouldn't get the vision pro 08:41because you're not going to be able to invite them over to watch content together on the vision pro if 08:45they don't already have one wait then why am i here that's a good question i don't have an answer 08:53yeah yeah all right well i just lost a friend so we're gonna go to the nba app and what's 09:00cool 09:00about the nba app is that you have a lot of really interesting features that you can play with i 09:06don't 09:06have a membership so i can't see the full game replay but basically you have the ability to watch the 09:12game and then create this multi-view so as you're watching the game you have live statistics on the 09:17left you're able to see things like assists rebounds field goals you've got other games going on the 09:22bottom you can see stats about the players um what a game by jalen brown 35 points wow started well 09:31too 31 but yeah you have the ability to fully customize this so you can do a multi-view setup 09:36look at this 09:37i now have my game stats right here and i can tweak what i want to see and how i 09:43want to design it 09:44he highlights full games this is really really cool and then there are those experiences with vision pro 09:51where it feels like you're actually in the stadium what they're doing is they're putting a 360 camera 09:55up to 8k resolution in the actual game so you are seated there so when you're sitting there looking 10:01around it does a really great job so watching a game like this which is a lot more analytical 10:05is really really cool um i know apple tv has a really great demonstration of this yeah this is 10:15absolutely incredible i'm right here with the players because of those copyright issues i 10:19mentioned earlier i once again can't show you what this looks like however i found this footage on reddit 10:24from the vantage app which does a good job of showing what it's like to be courtside at a sporting 10:29event 10:30i am sitting courtside right now both do a really great job with sports i'm going to give this one 10:35to the vision pro because the vision pro is allowing you to actually be immersed in the stadium you're 10:40you're on the field you're courtside and you're doing it from the comfort of
