Its advanced features and excellent fuel efficiency make it ideal for commuting and long road trips. You can choose from six trim levels: SE, SEL, SEL Hybrid, N Line, Limited, or Limited Hybrid. Here are some of this great vehicle’s best features.  **An Eye-Catching Exterior** The [2021 Elantra](https://www.hyundaiusa.com/us/en/vehicles/2021-elantra) has an innovative, modern style. Its prominent grille merges seamlessly with its curved headlights, and the Hyundai emblem is in the front of the sculpted hood. The N Line trim also has a lower grille for an even sportier look. The Elantra comes with 15-inch wheels, solar glass, a spoiler, and folding side mirrors. You can add automatic high beams, 16- or 17-inch wheels, a power sunroof, heated side mirrors, and a hands-free trunk. **Great Performance** The Elantra has excellent acceleration, an independent suspension for a smooth ride, and a lower, wider stance than the 2020 version for even better maneuverability. You can choose sport, smart, or normal driving modes. The SE comes with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. It uses a continuously variable automatic transmission, and it can go 30 mpg in traffic and 40 mpg on the highway. The hybrid trims use a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder gas engine with a 32-kilowatt electric motor, and they generate 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid has a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for impressive efficiency and responsiveness, and it can travel more than 50 mpg combined. With the N Line, you’ll get a turbocharged, 1.6-liter engine that gives 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission is available, and the N Line comes with paddle shifters for the steering wheels and dual exhaust pipes. **A Luxurious Interior** The 2021 Elantra’s interior comes with a variety of comfortable, convenient features. The air vent goes all the way across the dashboard, and a strip of LED lights accents it for a sleek, high-tech look. You’ll get Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an 8-inch touch screen, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and voice recognition. You can add Digital Key, the ability to use your smartphone to start the engine and unlock the doors. You can share Digital Key with another driver’s devices as well.
