The process was very straightforward, and pretty easy to navigate. No pushy salespeople to deal with, the car was shipped to my local dealer, and I scheduled pick up myself. When I got there, the car was waiting, spotless, ready to go. The guy who handled the delivery was excellent, walked me through basics, helped me get my phone key set up, addresses added and saved - then volunteered info on some things I wasn't even thinking about. Many glass shards even flew into the front seats. Fortunately, my husband was using the autopilot system, which helped him navigate the situation safely. Another fortunate factor was the window tint, which held the shattered glass together and prevented injuries to his face or eyes.\n\nMore\n\nDespite the shock and stress from the accident, the warm, friendly, and detailed guidance from the Tesla Service Center staff made it much easier for us to get the vehicle repaired. In particular, Amber and Thomas M from the service team handled everything extremely efficiently, and Bobby \\*\\* at the Collision Center helped us schedule the hood repair without any issues. The professionalism, accuracy, and kindness of all the staff in North Hollywood Tesla Service center made us feel calm and reassured during a very stressful time. Supervised Full Self-Drive works great 90% of the time. However, if you are coming into a zone where the speed limit goes from 55 to 45 to 35 to 25 mph you better be extra careful. The car will not slow down unless you manually reduce the speed. The car will set max speed at 48 mph when it enters the 35mph zone. Yes, you will get a ticket! It also likes to get into a turn only lane to go straight. Aside from that the car is great. Plenty of speed, supervised full self-drive is great 90 % of the time, no maintenance, plug it in when you go to sleep and you can go just about anywhere the next day. I’ve had the car for just 10 days, and it is already experiencing multiple serious issues. After updating to FSD 14.3, the entire Full Self-Driving system and sensors stopped functioning. The display no longer detects surrounding vehicles—only my car appears, along with distorted and inaccurate road layouts. On top of that, there is a very noticeable air leak noise when driving at highway speeds (around 65 mph), and the climate control fan produces an irritating whining sound.\n\nMore\n\nWhen I contacted Tesla support, I was transferred to service, where they remotely diagnosed a hardware failure. It is honestly unacceptable that a brand-new car would require service for a hardware issue within just 10 days of ownership. To make matters worse, the nearest Tesla service center is 250 miles away from me, adding significant inconvenience to an already frustrating situation. I was hit with an unreasonable wear-and-tear charge, and trying to get clarity has been nearly impossible. I’ve attempted to contact the lease-end department multiple times with no success. I even went in person to a Tesla location, only to be told they couldn’t help me and that everything has to go through the lease department—which, again, is basically unreachable. The process was very straightforward, and pretty easy to navigate. No pushy salespeople to deal with, the car was shipped to my local dealer, and I scheduled pick up myself. When I got there, the car was waiting, spotless, ready to go. The guy who handled the delivery was excellent, walked me through basics, helped me get my phone key set up, addresses added and saved - then volunteered info on some things I wasn't even thinking about. Many glass shards even flew into the front seats. Fortunately, my husband was using the autopilot system, which helped him navigate the situation safely. Another fortunate factor was the window tint, which held the shattered glass together and prevented injuries to his face or eyes. More Despite the shock and stress from the accident, the warm, friendly, and detailed guidance from the Tesla Service Center staff made it much easier for us to get the vehicle repaired. In particular, Amber and Thomas M from the service team handled everything extremely efficiently, and Bobby \\ at the Collision Center helped us schedule the hood repair without any issues. The professionalism, accuracy, and kindness of all the staff in North Hollywood Tesla Service center made us feel calm and reassured during a very stressful time. However, if you are coming into a zone where the speed limit goes from 55 to 45 to 35 to 25 mph you better be extra careful. The car will not slow down unless you manually reduce the speed. The car will set max speed at 48 mph when it enters the 35mph zone. Yes, you will get a ticket! It also likes to get into a turn only lane to go straight. Aside from that the car is great. Plenty of speed, supervised full self-drive is great 90 % of the time, no maintenance, plug it in when you go to sleep and you can go just about anywhere the next day. Please be extra cautious of your speed when in supervised full self-drive. Thanks for your vote\! The driving experience is smooth, super quiet, and the acceleration still makes me smile every time I hit the pedal. The tech side is impressive—over-the-air updates keep adding little features I didn’t even know I wanted. That said, I can’t give it a full 5 stars. The service appointments can be hard to schedule, and when I did get in, the wait times were longer than expected. Nothing majorly wrong with the car, but it feels like the customer support side hasn’t fully caught up with the product itself. Bottom line: amazing car, decent but not perfect service. I don’t miss anything about traditional cars. Not the dealerships, not the dealer fees, not the negotiations that feel like hostage situations, and definitely not the gas stations—ugh. Oil changes? Haven’t thought about them in years. And the “surprise” service costs at the dealer? Gone with the wind. More Driving a Tesla is like switching from a flip phone to a smartphone. Once you experience it, every other car just seems… dumb. I see all these fancy cars on the road—some of them are real lookers—but all I can think is, “Cute… but stupid.” Tesla isn’t just a car, it’s a lifestyle upgrade. It’s tech, speed, comfort, innovation, and freedom all in one. I love my Tesla. I love what Elon Musk is building. And whatever flying spaceship-car hybrid he’s cooking up next? Yeah, I’ll take one of those too. There’s no “car” for me anymore. There’s just Tesla. And just to say it out loud—I don’t want a paycheck, I just want to be part of this innovation. I’ve had the car for just 10 days, and it is already experiencing multiple serious issues. After updating to FSD 14.3, the entire Full Self-Driving system and sensors stopped functioning. The display no longer detects surrounding vehicles—only my car appears, along with distorted and inaccurate road layouts. On top of that, there is a very noticeable air leak noise when driving at highway speeds (around 65 mph), and the climate control fan produces an irritating whining sound. More When I contacted Tesla support, I was transferred to service, where they remotely diagnosed a hardware failure. It is honestly unacceptable that a brand-new car would require service for a hardware issue within just 10 days of ownership. To make matters worse, the nearest Tesla service center is 250 miles away from me, adding significant inconvenience to an already frustrating situation. This has been a very poor ownership experience so far, and far from what I expected from Tesla. More Thanks for your vote\! I was hit with an unreasonable wear-and-tear charge, and trying to get clarity has been nearly impossible. I’ve attempted to contact the lease-end department multiple times with no success. I even went in person to a Tesla location, only to be told they couldn’t help me and that everything has to go through the lease department—which, again, is basically unreachable. This lack of support and accountability is unacceptable. As a customer, you expect transparency and assistance, especially when it comes to final charges. The company controls your car, and can disable many features in the car when they want. If you are still under warranty, they will bring these features back, but once you are out of warranty, Tesla will start ripping you off.
