The senery was magnificent and the animal life superb. Being able to get close to the wild life was excellent. For us the weather was terrific with not even a whitecap for the whole trip. It was however, disappointing to learn that kayaking was not an "extra" as we missed out on a shore excursion at that particular time. They suggested Chimu as a tour operator. Who suggested Polar Expeditions. All involved put together a great itinerary that included stopovers/activities in Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and Iguazu. FC allowed sufficient travel times and layovers. The tours and locations were great and interesting. Polar Expeditions and the Ocean Albatross crew over delivered on their promises at every juncture. We were blessed with good weather so every excursion off the boat happened. The on board scientists/expedition team added value to the trip. I recommend booking an excursion not a cruise. Buenos Aires is a beautiful city and the few days we spent there and excursions were good. In Ushuaia we visited Tierra del Fuego National Park, it’s well worthwhile. In Iguazu the excursions are incredible and a must do. We learnt to trust our itinerary, it flowed well and was fit for purpose.
