Amazing flavor! I used walnuts instead of pecans and I added half a cup of semisweet chocolate chips and it turned out great. I also cut back the sugar by half a cup. It was ready after 1 hr and 20 in the oven at 325. The result was moist and delicious! Will definitely make again

This recipe was so easy to follow and the banana bread came out perfect and oh so moist! I didn't put any nuts in mine because of personal preference. Also I used 8in.x 4in. loaf pans & my oven tends to run hot so it cooked closer to \*350 so my 2 loafs only took an hour. Thank you Rose for a new family favorite\!

I have used this recipe well over a decade. Made exactly as is, it IS the best ever 🍌 🍞 recipe I have found.However, depending on what's in the pantry, I may add /take away some ingredients.I use only 1/2 cup white sugar, added to dry mix, and 1/2 cup dark brown added to the wet mixture. I also use 2 1/2 to 3 🍌 sliced as coins. I am going to add some almond extract the next time as per one review.But again, made as posted, this is, in my opinion, the best ever 🍌 bread recipe.I have also made this as mini loaves. I work in the kitchen of an assisted living facility. I am often asked to make the bread for the residents. I usually make four reg size loaves, (9x 5). However, the last time, I used 16 (3x 5) bread tins. I always make 4 batches at one time. Set the Convection oven at 300. These were baked for 25 to 27 minutes. Each mini loaf made 6 or 7 slices. We served 45 ppl two slices each, with a few slices left over

Absolutely the BEST EVER! Makes a great gift wrapped with a pretty bow and a carton of whipped cream cheese. I bake with coconut oil rather than vegetable oil. Oh, I also use close to 1 cup nuts, not half cup.Don't waste your time looking at other banana bread recipes\!

Great tasting Banana Bread. Was a little concerned because it was such a light color. I added chopped pecans and used powder buttermilk (Horror) and it turned out fine. I will be making this again and have already shared the recipe!! I ended up making muffins and small loaves. I did 1 1/2 batch. Thanks for sharing this recipe\!

- 1 cup mashed bananas
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- â…“ cup buttermilk
- 1 Âľ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chopped pecans (Optional)
## Directions
1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
