And A&W is following up\nMug's springtime release of Root Beer Floats Vanilla Howler Soda\nwith its own Root Beer Float flavor.\nA&W To Release New Root Beer Float Soda This Summer\nAllrecipes \/ A&W\nWith\ndirty soda flavors\ncontinuing to grow, mainstream brands have joined the likes of soda shops Swig and Cool Sips to bring creamy, sweet soda to the masses. Dr Pepper all but started the mad dash to get dirty soda on shelves with its Creamy Coconut flavor, and now,\nMountain Dew\n,\nPepsi\n, and Mug have followed suit.\nSo, with Mug's new Root Beer Floats line of sodas coming to shelves soon, it's only natural that Keurig Dr Pepper's A&W is hitting back with its own creamy, vanilla option. \nA&W's new Root Beer Float soda features a blend of\nsassafras and licorice-flavored\n, earthy root beer with the \"vanilla-kissed\" flavor and creamy mouthfeel of\nvanilla ice cream\n. It's meant to emanate the flavors of a classic diner root beer float, without the need for a spoon.\nThis new Root Beer Float-flavored A&W soda is a direct follow-up to the\nIce Cream Sundae-flavored soda\n, which included hints of hot fudge, vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, and cherry, that A&W launched last summer.
