WHAT IS COLD BREW COFFEE?
Cold brew coffee isÂ
not
 just drip coffee or regularly brewed hot coffee that’s been cooled or served over ice.Â
Cold brew coffee never gets hot.
 Instead of brewing in just a few minutes like a hot coffee, it’s steeped over 15-20 hours.
The result is coffee that’s slightly less acidic and bitter. Instead, cold brewed coffee has a sweeter and more full-bodied flavor. If you make a nice big batch of coffee on the weekend, you can enjoy it all week long whenever the mood strikes.
OUR RECIPE FOR COLD BREW COFFEE
Use four cups of water for every cup of coffee beans.
 If you want more cold brew, just double this.
Our secret:
 use 1/2 cup of  Willows medium roast + 1/2 cup of willows
dark roast coffee
Grind your Willows coffee beans coarseÂ
 You don’t want finely ground
coffee beans
, like you’d use for drip coffee. Coarse ground coffee is best.
You can steep the coffee in pretty much any container
 (though we recommend glass).
Add water.Â
Use filtered water for the best cup of cold brew.
Steep for at least 15 hours
. If you like it stronger, brew it longer – up to 24 hours. If you are not sure, 15 – 20 hours is a good place to start.
Strain the coffee concentrate
 to remove the coffee grounds.
Cold brew can steep at room temperature (even just on your countertop). After straining,Â
keep the concentrate in the refrigerator
. It will stay fresh for a week… but it will probably not last that long!
Serve it with ice, water or your favorite type of milk or cream and enjoy!
