One of the questions people often ask us is, "How much is a point or mile worth?" The true answer varies from point to point and person to person. Continue learning how to maximize your points and miles with our . The carrier unveiled what is arguably the most luxurious offering from any U.S. commercial airline, the new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with its "Elevated" interior . This luxe new jet features 64 lie-flat Polaris seats, including eight spacious Polaris Studio suites fitted with extra-large 27-inch 4K inflight entertainment screens. The inaugural long-haul international United Elevated service departs San Francisco International Airport (SFO) for Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) on April 22. Any Polaris passenger (including those booked with MileagePlus miles) can reserve a Studio suite for $499 per person. Domestic familiarization flights from SFO to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) began March 29 and are now headed for Dulles International Airport (IAD) near Washington, D.C., with no additional charge for Studio seats. United also revealed the "Coastliner," a custom Airbus A321neo with 20 lie-flat Polaris suites for cross-country routes from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), alongside plans for 50 transatlantic A321XLRs. The airline also announced the CRJ-450, a modified, posh regional jet with just 41 seats. CRJ-450 aircraft, which will include seven first-class seats, carry-on lockers for first-class passengers and Starlink Wi-Fi, are set to debut before the end of 2026. The carrier unveiled what is arguably the most luxurious offering from any U.S. commercial airline, the new [Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with its "Elevated" interior](https://thepointsguy.com/news/united-airlines-boeing-787-dreamliner-elevated-polaris-studios/). This luxe new jet features 64 lie-flat Polaris seats, including eight spacious Polaris Studio suites fitted with extra-large 27-inch 4K inflight entertainment screens. Any Polaris passenger (including those booked with MileagePlus miles) can reserve a Studio suite for \$499 per person. Domestic familiarization flights from SFO to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) began March 29 and are now headed for Dulles International Airport (IAD) near Washington, D.C., with no additional charge for Studio seats. United also revealed the "Coastliner," a [custom Airbus A321neo with 20 lie-flat Polaris suites](https://thepointsguy.com/news/united-airlines-luxe-new-planes-coastliner/) for cross-country routes from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), alongside plans for 50 transatlantic A321XLRs.
