T\n\n语音阅读\n\n美国时间2021年10月28日，脸书公司正式宣布改名为[Meta](https:\/\/meta.com\/)，重新定位公司为元宇宙公司，一切以元宇宙为先，而不是以脸书为先。\n\n![](https:\/\/theinterview.asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Capture1.jpg)\n\n脸书（Facebook）完成了它的历史使命，从公司名字“退下”，成为“新公司”Meta旗下所有apps的其中一个成员，当然，Meta除了Facebook app之外，还有我们大家熟悉的WhatsApp、Instagram、Messenger，和许多人听过，但还没有使用过的[Oculus虚拟现实设备](https:\/\/www.oculus.com\/rift\/?locale=zh_CN)。\n\n在此宣布发布之后的接下去几天，媒体和社媒一片哗然，大家众说纷纭，都在讨论为什么脸书创办人马克.扎克伯格（Mark Zuckerberg）在这个时候要做这件事。\n\n**其中一个最多人提及的说法是——此一动作的目的是因为脸书过去几年来负面新闻不断，所以扎克伯格希望通过这样的动作，以图把美国政府和公众的注意力转移。** 近几年来，Facebook的确是面对不少抨击，尤其是最近吹哨者脸书前员工Frances Haugen在10月5日的美国国会听证会上，揭发脸书在处理假新闻、仇恨言论等问题的同时，把公司的业绩放在第一位，罔顾公众利益的所作所为。\n\n###### （阅读相关文章：[17岁脸书的十字路口](https:\/\/theinterview.asia\/column\/%E7%A7%91%E8%B0%B1%E6%97%B6%E4%BB%A3\/54058\/) ）\n针对此一说法，我个人並不以为然。\n\n要了解脸书为何改名为Meta，并且重新定位为元宇宙公司，要退一步看看过去40年来科技圈到底发生过几次重大的机遇和改变。\n\n1980年，微软创办人比尔盖茨（Bill Gates）为公司立下了一个改变世界的愿景：**“A computer on every desk and in every home.”。**微软在1995年推出视窗95（Windows 95)，在美国甚至创造了许多人排队争相购买的空前盛况，视窗95的成功也为微软打下了家用和商用电脑平台（platform）霸主的地位。\n\n![](https:\/\/theinterview.asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Capture2.jpg)\n\n（图片来源：网络）\n\n12年后的2007年1月9日，Steve Jobs推介了苹果的杀手级产品iPhone，也为移动互联网掀开序幕，隔一年9月23日跟进的谷歌也推出了安卓（Android）系统，从此之后，移动互联网一分为二，iOS 和安卓成为移动互联网的两大平台与关口，这也让苹果和谷歌成为移动互联网的平台霸主。\n\n2004年创立的脸书，即使是今天世界级的社交媒体龙头老大，但是所有的应用都依附在这些平台之上，不管是desktop、laptop还是mobile，依然是微软、苹果和谷歌的天下。\n\n我在上一期的专栏曾经写过，扎克伯格的收购策略非常了得，除了我们熟悉的WhatsApp与Instagram的收购案之外，他也在2014年花了20亿美元买下了虚拟现实设备开发公司Oculus。\n\n**我常讲， 扎克伯格收购Oculus的目的，买的不是硬件设备，他买的其实是一个未来——建构一个虚拟现实的操作系统（operating system）。**\n\n我们今天所处在的互联网世界还相当“平面”，未来的互联网世界，在通过虚拟现实（Virtual Reality，VR）和增强现实（Augmented Reality，AR）等技术的加持之下，会更加立体。\n\n那就是许多人想像的未来互联网世界，有些人相信这个以VR和AR驱动的未来互联网世界，就叫“元宇宙”（metaverse）。\n\n“元宇宙”的概念还非常新，它是一个仍在持续发展中的想法和“世界”。简单来说，元宇宙就是你我可以用我们的数码身份，去生活、工作、学习、娱乐和经验的数码世界。\n\n在这个新机会的面前，扎克伯格也希望把脸书公司“升级”；脸书最擅长做的事是人和人的连结，扎克伯格希望脸书可以从“平面”的互联网世界，进化到“立体”的互联网未来，并且成为“元宇宙”这个新平台的霸主。\n\n掌控了这个新平台，就可能可以掌控未来互联网的各种发展和机会。\n\n所以，这次扎克伯格在创立脸书17年之后，为公司重新命名，与其说是分散负面新闻的注意力，**不如说这是他在未来互联网世界的卡位战。**\n\nMeta作为一家市值曾经超过万亿美元级别的公司，它看到的和关注的，是未来的可能性，就像Meta这个字的希腊文原意一样：“Beyond”。\n\n相比于谷歌在2015年改名为Alphabet以让总公司除了在Google搜索与广告之外更加“多元”的发展，例如进军自动驾驶与其他新兴科技产业，扎克伯格\/Meta的布局把脸书公司的未来，全数压注在“一个”仍在发展中，并且深具不确定性的“元宇宙”，这绝对是近年来科技圈最大的一场豪赌。\n\n结局会怎么样，接下去10到20年的发展，会是关键。\n\n到时，我们可能得在元宇宙的世界（记得哦，它是个仍在发展中的“世界”，到最后，它不一定是和扎克伯格今天所描绘的元宇宙未来一模一样），或者是另一个全新的互联网未来，见证扎克伯格今天这个决定是成是败。\n\n**延伸阅读：[孙德俊专栏《科谱时代》其他文章](https:\/\/theinterview.asia\/category\/%E7%A7%91%E8%B0%B1%E6%97%B6%E4%BB%A3\/)**\n\n##### ![](https://theinterview.asia/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Capture1.jpg) 脸书（Facebook）完成了它的历史使命，从公司名字“退下”，成为“新公司”Meta旗下所有apps的其中一个成员，当然，Meta除了Facebook app之外，还有我们大家熟悉的WhatsApp、Instagram、Messenger，和许多人听过，但还没有使用过的[Oculus虚拟现实设备](https://www.oculus.com/rift/?locale=zh_CN)。在此宣布发布之后的接下去几天，媒体和社媒一片哗然，大家众说纷纭，都在讨论为什么脸书创办人马克.扎克伯格（Mark Zuckerberg）在这个时候要做这件事。其中一个最多人提及的说法是——此一动作的目的是因为脸书过去几年来负面新闻不断，所以扎克伯格希望通过这样的动作，以图把美国政府和公众的注意力转移。近几年来，Facebook的确是面对不少抨击，尤其是最近吹哨者脸书前员工Frances Haugen在10月5日的美国国会听证会上，揭发脸书在处理假新闻、仇恨言论等问题的同时，把公司的业绩放在第一位，罔顾公众利益的所作所为。 ###### （阅读相关文章：[17岁脸书的十字路口](https://theinterview.asia/column/%E7%A7%91%E8%B0%B1%E6%97%B6%E4%BB%A3/54058/) ）针对此一说法，我个人並不以为然。要了解脸书为何改名为Meta，并且重新定位为元宇宙公司，要退一步看看过去40年来科技圈到底发生过几次重大的机遇和改变。 1980年，微软创办人比尔盖茨（Bill Gates）为公司立下了一个改变世界的愿景：“A computer on every desk and in every home.”。微软在1995年推出视窗95（Windows 95)，在美国甚至创造了许多人排队争相购买的空前盛况，视窗95的成功也为微软打下了家用和商用电脑平台（platform）霸主的地位。 ![](https://theinterview.asia/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Capture2.jpg) （图片来源：网络） 12年后的2007年1月9日，Steve Jobs推介了苹果的杀手级产品iPhone，也为移动互联网掀开序幕，隔一年9月23日跟进的谷歌也推出了安卓（Android）系统，从此之后，移动互联网一分为二，iOS 和安卓成为移动互联网的两大平台与关口，这也让苹果和谷歌成为移动互联网的平台霸主。 2004年创立的脸书，即使是今天世界级的社交媒体龙头老大，但是所有的应用都依附在这些平台之上，不管是desktop、laptop还是mobile，依然是微软、苹果和谷歌的天下。我在上一期的专栏曾经写过，扎克伯格的收购策略非常了得，除了我们熟悉的WhatsApp与Instagram的收购案之外，他也在2014年花了20亿美元买下了虚拟现实设备开发公司Oculus。我常讲，扎克伯格收购Oculus的目的，买的不是硬件设备，他买的其实是一个未来——建构一个虚拟现实的操作系统（operating system）。我们今天所处在的互联网世界还相当“平面”，未来的互联网世界，在通过虚拟现实（Virtual Reality，VR）和增强现实（Augmented Reality，AR）等技术的加持之下，会更加立体。那就是许多人想像的未来互联网世界，有些人相信这个以VR和AR驱动的未来互联网世界，就叫“元宇宙”（metaverse）。 “元宇宙”的概念还非常新，它是一个仍在持续发展中的想法和“世界”。简单来说，元宇宙就是你我可以用我们的数码身份，去生活、工作、学习、娱乐和经验的数码世界。在这个新机会的面前，扎克伯格也希望把脸书公司“升级”；脸书最擅长做的事是人和人的连结，扎克伯格希望脸书可以从“平面”的互联网世界，进化到“立体”的互联网未来，并且成为“元宇宙”这个新平台的霸主。掌控了这个新平台，就可能可以掌控未来互联网的各种发展和机会。所以，这次扎克伯格在创立脸书17年之后，为公司重新命名，与其说是分散负面新闻的注意力，不如说这是他在未来互联网世界的卡位战。 Meta作为一家市值曾经超过万亿美元级别的公司，它看到的和关注的，是未来的可能性，就像Meta这个字的希腊文原意一样：“Beyond”。相比于谷歌在2015年改名为Alphabet以让总公司除了在Google搜索与广告之外更加“多元”的发展，例如进军自动驾驶与其他新兴科技产业，扎克伯格/Meta的布局把脸书公司的未来，全数压注在“一个”仍在发展中，并且深具不确定性的“元宇宙”，这绝对是近年来科技圈最大的一场豪赌。结局会怎么样，接下去10到20年的发展，会是关键。到时，我们可能得在元宇宙的世界（记得哦，它是个仍在发展中的“世界”，到最后，它不一定是和扎克伯格今天所描绘的元宇宙未来一模一样），或者是另一个全新的互联网未来，见证扎克伯格今天这个决定是成是败。延伸阅读：[孙德俊专栏《科谱时代》其他文章](https://theinterview.asia/category/%E7%A7%91%E8%B0%B1%E6%97%B6%E4%BB%A3/) Readable Markdown	美国时间2021年10月28日，脸书公司正式宣布改名为[Meta](https://meta.com/)，重新定位公司为元宇宙公司，一切以元宇宙为先，而不是以脸书为先。 ![](https://theinterview.asia/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Capture1.jpg) 脸书（Facebook）完成了它的历史使命，从公司名字“退下”，成为“新公司”Meta旗下所有apps的其中一个成员，当然，Meta除了Facebook app之外，还有我们大家熟悉的WhatsApp、Instagram、Messenger，和许多人听过，但还没有使用过的[Oculus虚拟现实设备](https://www.oculus.com/rift/?locale=zh_CN)。在此宣布发布之后的接下去几天，媒体和社媒一片哗然，大家众说纷纭，都在讨论为什么脸书创办人马克.扎克伯格（Mark Zuckerberg）在这个时候要做这件事。其中一个最多人提及的说法是——此一动作的目的是因为脸书过去几年来负面新闻不断，所以扎克伯格希望通过这样的动作，以图把美国政府和公众的注意力转移。近几年来，Facebook的确是面对不少抨击，尤其是最近吹哨者脸书前员工Frances Haugen在10月5日的美国国会听证会上，揭发脸书在处理假新闻、仇恨言论等问题的同时，把公司的业绩放在第一位，罔顾公众利益的所作所为。 ###### （阅读相关文章：[17岁脸书的十字路口](https://theinterview.asia/column/%E7%A7%91%E8%B0%B1%E6%97%B6%E4%BB%A3/54058/) ）针对此一说法，我个人並不以为然。要了解脸书为何改名为Meta，并且重新定位为元宇宙公司，要退一步看看过去40年来科技圈到底发生过几次重大的机遇和改变。 1980年，微软创办人比尔盖茨（Bill Gates）为公司立下了一个改变世界的愿景：“A computer on every desk and in every home.”。微软在1995年推出视窗95（Windows 95)，在美国甚至创造了许多人排队争相购买的空前盛况，视窗95的成功也为微软打下了家用和商用电脑平台（platform）霸主的地位。 ![](https://theinterview.asia/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Capture2.jpg) （图片来源：网络） 12年后的2007年1月9日，Steve Jobs推介了苹果的杀手级产品iPhone，也为移动互联网掀开序幕，隔一年9月23日跟进的谷歌也推出了安卓（Android）系统，从此之后，移动互联网一分为二，iOS 和安卓成为移动互联网的两大平台与关口，这也让苹果和谷歌成为移动互联网的平台霸主。 2004年创立的脸书，即使是今天世界级的社交媒体龙头老大，但是所有的应用都依附在这些平台之上，不管是desktop、laptop还是mobile，依然是微软、苹果和谷歌的天下。我在上一期的专栏曾经写过，扎克伯格的收购策略非常了得，除了我们熟悉的WhatsApp与Instagram的收购案之外，他也在2014年花了20亿美元买下了虚拟现实设备开发公司Oculus。我常讲，扎克伯格收购Oculus的目的，买的不是硬件设备，他买的其实是一个未来——建构一个虚拟现实的操作系统（operating system）。我们今天所处在的互联网世界还相当“平面”，未来的互联网世界，在通过虚拟现实（Virtual Reality，VR）和增强现实（Augmented Reality，AR）等技术的加持之下，会更加立体。那就是许多人想像的未来互联网世界，有些人相信这个以VR和AR驱动的未来互联网世界，就叫“元宇宙”（metaverse）。 “元宇宙”的概念还非常新，它是一个仍在持续发展中的想法和“世界”。简单来说，元宇宙就是你我可以用我们的数码身份，去生活、工作、学习、娱乐和经验的数码世界。在这个新机会的面前，扎克伯格也希望把脸书公司“升级”；脸书最擅长做的事是人和人的连结，扎克伯格希望脸书可以从“平面”的互联网世界，进化到“立体”的互联网未来，并且成为“元宇宙”这个新平台的霸主。掌控了这个新平台，就可能可以掌控未来互联网的各种发展和机会。所以，这次扎克伯格在创立脸书17年之后，为公司重新命名，与其说是分散负面新闻的注意力，不如说这是他在未来互联网世界的卡位战。 Meta作为一家市值曾经超过万亿美元级别的公司，它看到的和关注的，是未来的可能性，就像Meta这个字的希腊文原意一样：“Beyond”。相比于谷歌在2015年改名为Alphabet以让总公司除了在Google搜索与广告之外更加“多元”的发展，例如进军自动驾驶与其他新兴科技产业，扎克伯格/Meta的布局把脸书公司的未来，全数压注在“一个”仍在发展中，并且深具不确定性的“元宇宙”，这绝对是近年来科技圈最大的一场豪赌。结局会怎么样，接下去10到20年的发展，会是关键。到时，我们可能得在元宇宙的世界（记得哦，它是个仍在发展中的“世界”，到最后，它不一定是和扎克伯格今天所描绘的元宇宙未来一模一样），或者是另一个全新的互联网未来，见证扎克伯格今天这个决定是成是败。延伸阅读：[孙德俊专栏《科谱时代》其他文章](https://theinterview.asia/category/%E7%A7%91%E8%B0%B1%E6%97%B6%E4%BB%A3/) ##### 版权声明本文乃作者观点，不代表《访问》立场；本文乃原创内容，版权属《访问》所有；若转载或引述，请注明出处与链接。
