1 lb ground beef

2 teaspoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
¼ cup dry sherry
(60 mL)
4 cups low-sodium beef broth
(945 mL)
1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 cups dried egg noodles
(400 g)
½ cup sour cream
(115 g)
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley

Heat the olive in a large pan over medium heat. Once the oil begins to shimmer, add the mushrooms and cook until tender, 5-6 minutes. Transfer the mushrooms to a plate.
Melt the butter in the same pan. Add the onion, ground beef, and garlic powder. Cooking until the meat is browned, stirring to break up into small pieces. Drain any excess fat, then return the pan to the stove.
Add the flour and paprika. Stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes.
Add the sherry, and stir to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
Add the beef broth and bring to a boil.
Add the egg noodles, salt, and pepper. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer, stirring often, until the noodles are tender, 8-10 minutes.
Return the mushrooms to the pan and stir to combine.
Add the sour cream and stir. Top with the parsley.

My fiancé was so shocked that it came out looking just like the video! I substituted deer meat instead of beef bc it’s what I had in my freezer. It was DELICIOUS! I also used sour cream with chives in it! We will definitely make this again!

I only use 1/2 pound ground beef, but added 1 1/2 cups of frozen baby peas in the last 5 minutes of cooking time. The meal was wonderful and my hubby loved it too.

My family is not big on mushrooms so I left that part out, but this has become a favorite amongst my group. We love pasta so I probably put 6 cups of the egg noodles. I will definitely make this again!

Awesome recipe ! I like to thicken things up a bit, I added cream cheese and 2/3 of a can of cream of mushroom soup! Really made the dish rich and creamy! I continuously added more of the spices because it needed more than the recipe called for!!

The first time I made this it turned out a little watery so the second time I increased the noodles to 6 cups and took the lid off the pan for the last few minutes. I also increased the sour cream to 1.5 cups and it was much creamier

I substituted marsala wine for the sherry and added a little more seasoning (paprika, garlic powder, pink Himalayan & pepper). And a little more sour cream doesn’t hurt.

Oh my god this recipe is fantastic. I loved stroganoff so much growing up and wanted to try this. When I was a kid, we always used cream of mushroom soup so I decided to add a little bit to this recipe. I cut the sour cream amount in half, used dried parsley flakes, and a can of cream of mushroom soup. It was fantastic!!! I’ll definitely be making this again

My family loved this recipe. I doubled the recipe because we have a family of 5 but I have so much leftover! The things I did differently was added onion garlic and salt and pepper to the mushrooms while I cooked them. I also added fresh garlic to the onion while I sautéed them. While browning the hamburger I added salt pepper onion& garlic powder

Awesome recipe ! I like to thicken things up a bit, I added cream cheese and 2/3 of a can of cream of mushroom soup! Really made the dish rich and creamy! I continuously added more of the spices because it needed more than the recipe called for!\!

The first time I made this it turned out a little watery so the second time I increased the noodles to 6 cups and took the lid off the pan for the last few minutes. I also increased the sour cream to 1.5 cups and it was much creamier

Oh my god this recipe is fantastic. I loved stroganoff so much growing up and wanted to try this. When I was a kid, we always used cream of mushroom soup so I decided to add a little bit to this recipe. I cut the sour cream amount in half, used dried parsley flakes, and a can of cream of mushroom soup. It was fantastic!!! I’ll definitely be making this again

My family loved this recipe. I doubled the recipe because we have a family of 5 but I have so much leftover! The things I did differently was added onion garlic and salt and pepper to the mushrooms while I cooked them. I also added fresh garlic to the onion while I sautéed them. While browning the hamburger I added salt pepper onion& garlic powder

This quick and easy stroganoff recipe features ground beef, mushrooms, and egg noodles all cooked in one skillet and topped with sour cream.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 oz white button mushroom (225 g), sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ yellow onion, diced
- 1 lb ground beef (455 g)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ¼ cup dry sherry (60 mL)
- 4 cups low-sodium beef broth (945 mL)
- 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 cups dried egg noodles (400 g)
- ½ cup sour cream (115 g)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley

1. Heat the olive in a large pan over medium heat. Once the oil begins to shimmer, add the mushrooms and cook until tender, 5-6 minutes. Transfer the mushrooms to a plate.
2. Melt the butter in the same pan. Add the onion, ground beef, and garlic powder. Cooking until the meat is browned, stirring to break up into small pieces. Drain any excess fat, then return the pan to the stove.
3. Add the flour and paprika. Stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes.
4. Add the sherry, and stir to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
5. Add the beef broth and bring to a boil.
6. Add the egg noodles, salt, and pepper. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer, stirring often, until the noodles are tender, 8-10 minutes.
7. Return the mushrooms to the pan and stir to combine.
8. Add the sour cream and stir. Top with the parsley.
