And yet here we are. Obsidian somehow made it look and feel exactly like an episode of the show. The attention to detail is stupid levels of impressive. Combat is nothing revolutionary but it's engaging enough that you won't be alt tabbing every five seconds. The only real complaint is that the main story is over before you're ready for it to be. NGL this game lives rent free in my head. If you like South Park humor it's basically required playing. If you don't, I don't know what to tell you. Collectables are not that hard to come by and it's relatively easy to get all the items neccessary you want, making the achievements easy.\nSoundtrack: Too good for a small game like this, which i found hilarious\nOverall the game itself is very hilarious and it achieves what it is meant to be, a videogame adaptation of South Park. And yet here we are. Obsidian somehow made it look and feel exactly like an episode of the show. The attention to detail is stupid levels of impressive. Combat is nothing revolutionary but it's engaging enough that you won't be alt tabbing every five seconds. The only real complaint is that the main story is over before you're ready for it to be. NGL this game lives rent free in my head. If you like South Park humor it's basically required playing. If you don't, I don't know what to tell you. INSANE and it feels like they put so much effort and passion while making it, it still holds itself pretty well despite the years, this game and it's sequel are the only turn based games I have liked, easily and it has a range of possibilities with different items, characters and the methods you can use.   \n  \nCombat: Same as gameplay, it's very versatile and almost always unique and satisfying in some aspect, a bit like older videogames in which every unique aspect was hand-crafted to reflect on this.  \n  \nExploration: The map is relatively small but very detailed so it feels like a true open-world game.   \n  \nCharacter and world design: Very memorable characters and the world design is almost perfect as it truly reflects on the 20 years or so of the South Park show it was based off And yet here we are. Obsidian somehow made it look and feel exactly like an episode of the show. The attention to detail is stupid levels of impressive. Combat is nothing revolutionary but it's engaging enough that you won't be alt tabbing every five seconds. The only real complaint is that the main story is over before you're ready for it to be. NGL this game lives rent free in my head. If you like South Park humor it's basically required playing. If you don't, I don't know what to tell you. And yet here we are. Obsidian somehow made it look and feel exactly like an episode of the show. The attention to detail is stupid levels of impressive. Combat is nothing revolutionary but it's engaging enough that you won't be alt tabbing every five seconds. The only real complaint is that the main story is over before you're ready for it to be. NGL this game lives rent free in my head. If you like South Park humor it's basically required playing. If you don't, I don't know what to tell you. Skill issue probably. Was this review helpful? 1 person found this review helpful Recommended Myrmidden 21.4 hrs on record Posted: April 8 Direct from Steam I don't know why it took me so long to play this MASTERPIECE , this game is INSANE and it feels like they put so much effort and passion while making it, it still holds itself pretty well despite the years, this game and it's sequel are the only turn based games I have liked, that's how good this game is. if you like RPGs and/or South Park THEN PLAY THIS GAME Pros: It takes me back to that era of South Park that you will fondly remember, you feel like you're in the game with them as if this game was a really long episode, it's so faithful to the show, probably the best show to game adaptation I've ever played, SO MUCH COMEDY, I was dying laughing so many times while my friends were horrified and THAT IS SOUTH PARK. Cons: It ran very hot in my PC, 70°C on low graphics and 30 fps, many missable achievements. 10/10 Platinum'd after 23 hours, if you only wanna do one playthrough then you will need a guide but it will have a lot of CRAZY spoilers. Was this review helpful? 1 person found this review helpful Recommended Bastard the White Rat 37.4 hrs on record Posted: Today Steam Key If you're a fan of South Park, it's a must-have for you Cons: Depends on what you're offended by Pros: Plot: Extremely hilarious, i can just say that you have to play it to judge for yourself Gameplay: Very intuitive and engaging, you can master it pretty easily and it has a range of possibilities with different items, characters and the methods you can use. Combat: Same as gameplay, it's very versatile and almost always unique and satisfying in some aspect, a bit like older videogames in which every unique aspect was hand-crafted to reflect on this. Exploration: The map is relatively small but very detailed so it feels like a true open-world game. Character and world design: Very memorable characters and the world design is almost perfect as it truly reflects on the 20 years or so of the South Park show it was based off of Progression: It's hard to lose track and the game always makes sure of this. Collectables are not that hard to come by and it's relatively easy to get all the items neccessary you want, making the achievements easy. Soundtrack: Too good for a small game like this, which i found hilarious Overall the game itself is very hilarious and it achieves what it is meant to be, a videogame adaptation of South Park. It's not a grandiose project of sorts but it is perfect in almost every way it intends to be, while making you laugh. 11/10 Was this review helpful? Seu sistema de luta é bem coeso e funciona muito bem, tendo um bom nível de dificuldade. Os personagens funcionam muito bem e a história é...decente? Nunca fui muito fã de South Park, então não me pegou muito. Único problema que eu tive com o jogo, é que chegou uma hora que eu não aguentava mais. Era uma enrolação danada pra história continuar. And yet here we are. Obsidian somehow made it look and feel exactly like an episode of the show. The attention to detail is stupid levels of impressive. Combat is nothing revolutionary but it's engaging enough that you won't be alt tabbing every five seconds. The only real complaint is that the main story is over before you're ready for it to be. NGL this game lives rent free in my head. If you like South Park humor it's basically required playing. If you don't, I don't know what to tell you. Cons: It ran very hot in my PC, 70°C on low graphics and 30 fps, many missable achievements. 10/10 Platinum'd after 23 hours, if you only wanna do one playthrough then you will need a guide but it will have a lot of CRAZY spoilers. Combat: Same as gameplay, it's very versatile and almost always unique and satisfying in some aspect, a bit like older videogames in which every unique aspect was hand-crafted to reflect on this. Exploration: The map is relatively small but very detailed so it feels like a true open-world game. Character and world design: Very memorable characters and the world design is almost perfect as it truly reflects on the 20 years or so of the South Park show it was based off of Progression: It's hard to lose track and the game always makes sure of this. Collectables are not that hard to come by and it's relatively easy to get all the items neccessary you want, making the achievements easy. Soundtrack: Too good for a small game like this, which i found hilarious Overall the game itself is very hilarious and it achieves what it is meant to be, a videogame adaptation of South Park. And yet here we are. Obsidian somehow made it look and feel exactly like an episode of the show. The attention to detail is stupid levels of impressive. Combat is nothing revolutionary but it's engaging enough that you won't be alt tabbing every five seconds. The only real complaint is that the main story is over before you're ready for it to be. NGL this game lives rent free in my head. If you like South Park humor it's basically required playing. If you don't, I don't know what to tell you. Combat: Same as gameplay, it's very versatile and almost always unique and satisfying in some aspect, a bit like older videogames in which every unique aspect was hand-crafted to reflect on this. Exploration: The map is relatively small but very detailed so it feels like a true open-world game. Character and world design: Very memorable characters and the world design is almost perfect as it truly reflects on the 20 years or so of the South Park show it was based off of Progression: It's hard to lose track and the game always makes sure of this. Collectables are not that hard to come by and it's relatively easy to get all the items neccessary you want, making the achievements easy. Soundtrack: Too good for a small game like this, which i found hilarious Overall the game itself is very hilarious and it achieves what it is meant to be, a videogame adaptation of South Park. It's not a grandiose project of sorts but it is perfect in almost every way it intends to be, while making you laugh. 11/10 * Was this review helpful? Seu sistema de luta é bem coeso e funciona muito bem, tendo um bom nível de dificuldade. Os personagens funcionam muito bem e a história é...decente?
