For example, just this week,  Boeing announced a significant SAF order . Airbus will be bringing four aircraft along to the airshow,  Additionally, Singapore will be showing off a military A330 fuel tanker jet. Boeing isn't planning to go so heavily on the static aircraft display. The 777X is the only passenger aircraft being brought to the airshow.  The company debuted the next-generation widebody at last year's Dubai Airshow . Meanwhile,  Embraer will be debuting its new Tech Shark E190-E2 livery at this year's show . \n                        Should we expect aircraft orders?\n                While the Singapore Airshow is smaller than some of the other airshows held worldwide, it doesn't mean that aircraft orders won't be announced at the show. Given the industry's current state, it wouldn't be a massive surprise to see some more freighter orders from the big OEMs.  Airbus launched the A350 at the Dubai Airshow , while  Boeing launched its competitor, the 777X freighter , last week. FedEx is known to be eyeing a new freighter order , while  Cargolux was seemingly interested in the A350F . While the Singapore Airshow is smaller than the big shows typically organized in the likes of Paris, Farnborough, and Dubai, it plays an essential role in local aviation. Most of the major players in the aviation industry maintain a presence at the show. This year that will include Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer. A focus on sustainability It seems that the key focus at the Singapore Airshow will be on sustainability. Both Airbus and Boeing have alluded that this will be one of their focus areas. It matches the general direction that the aviation industry is currently heading in. For example, just this week, Boeing announced a significant SAF order . Airbus will be bringing four aircraft along to the airshow, Additionally, Singapore will be showing off a military A330 fuel tanker jet. Boeing isn't planning to go so heavily on the static aircraft display. The 777X is the only passenger aircraft being brought to the airshow. The company debuted the next-generation widebody at last year's Dubai Airshow . Meanwhile, Embraer will be debuting its new Tech Shark E190-E2 livery at this year's show . Should we expect aircraft orders? While the Singapore Airshow is smaller than some of the other airshows held worldwide, it doesn't mean that aircraft orders won't be announced at the show.
