The Beijing Winter Olympics are taking place at several different venues in China. The Beijing National Stadium will host the opening and closing ceremonies; other venues that will host different sporting events include the Olympic Green, the Capital Indoor Stadium and the Beijing Wukesong Sports Center. The Yanqing District in the northern area of Beijing will host events including alpine skiing, bobsleigh, luge and skeleton.
