Whoâs eligible for Paid Leave benefits?
If someone is eligible for benefits, it means theyâre able to participate in Paid Leave. Employees who currently work in Oregon and who made at least $1,000 in Oregon in their
base year
before they apply for Paid Leave may be eligible for benefits.Â
If you work full time, part time, or for more than one job or employer, it counts.
If youâre self-employed or an independent contractor, youâre
not
automatically coveredâbut you can choose coverage.
