It’s just before the pit-lane entrance.\nIt’s directly opposite the\nPromenade grandstand\nwhich is on the other side of the circuit.\nThis grandstand is new for 2025. There used to be seats here that were for Walkabout tickets holders to use on a first-come first-served basis, but this year onwards they’ve been replaced with this ticketed grandstand.\nZone\nThe Skyline grandstand is in Zone 2 of the Marina Bay Circuit. Tickets to this stand include full access to Zones 1, 2, 3 and 4, meaning you can explore the whole circuit park. \nSkyline Grandstand details\nCover\nThis grandstand has no cover, so you’ll be exposed to the weather come rain or shine.\nThe Singapore Grand Prix held at night, but some support races and practice sessions take place earlier in the day time and at dusk, so it will be hotter  during those. It’s always very humid in Singapore and there’s a strong chance of it raining. Check out my complete guide on\nwhat to wear to the Singapore GP\nfor some suggestions on how to dress for the weather.\nSeats\nThe seats are individual plastic chairs with folding seat bases.\nTV screens\nThere’s one large TV screen across the track, just to the left of the\nPromenade grandstand,\nthat will be visible from here.\nSkyline Grandstand F1 tickets\nTickets for the Skyline grandstand sold out quickly on the official website. So if you still want tickets, I’d recommend\nbuying tickets through StubHub,\nwhere there’s always a good selection available right up until race day. Sometimes you can find them at lower prices as well, plus there are lots of one day ticket options available.\nI’ve bought all my F1 tickets through StubHub over the last few seasons and have had a positive experience dealing with them each time. Their FanProtect guarantee is great for peace of mind too, as it ensures your tickets and money are safe.\nSingapore GP tickets\nTickets include free rides on the Singapore Flyer observation wheel\nTickets include access to all Zones 1, 2, 3 & 4 which you can walk about freely, and you can access every stage for all of the\n Singapore F1 concerts\n  with this ticket.\nThis is one of the more expensive grandstands at the Singapore GP.\nSkyline Grandstand seating plan\nThe full seating plan for this grandstand will be available soon. \nThe grandstand will have row numbers which start at 1 (front, lowest down) and increase the higher up in the stand you go.\nSeat numbers are likely to increase from left to right as you sit in the stand and look at the track.\nSkyline Grandstand view\nAs this grandstand is close to the edge of the track, you feel like you can almost touch the cars as they come past.\nBut being inside the circuit, the views are pretty limited. to your right you’ll see the cars exit Turn 17, and to your left you’ll see them as they approach Turn 18. After that you’ll lose them out of sight.\nThe image below shows the view of the track visible from this stand highlighted in green:\n12:03 in the video below was filmed from\nrow 1\nof this grandstand (actually filmed from the old Walkabout viewing platform, but it’s the same thing):\nAs the video shows, your view is pretty limited. Being low own and looking along the fence line makes it hard to see the cars approaching or dissapearing, so really you’re limited to watching them fly past you then following the rest of the action on the TV screen opposite.\nBest seats in the Skyline Grandstand\nBeing new it’s hard to say which seats will be best or worst. I’d always go for higher seats to get a better vantage point, so choose the highest row numbers possible.\nSingapore GP tickets\nIs the Skyline Grandstand a good place to sit?\nHonestly, for the very limited view you get from here, considering how expensive this stand is I would avoid it if possible.\nInstead, have a look at the\nBayfront grandstand\nwhich is on the other side of the track at Turn 17. You get a much better view, see the cars for a lot longer, get the same all-Zone access and it’s a LOT cheaper.\nNearest entrance & MRT station\nThis grandstand can be accessed from Gate 2 or Gate 8. It’s always very humid in Singapore and there’s a strong chance of it raining. So if you still want tickets, I’d recommend [buying tickets through StubHub,](https:\/\/stubhub.prf.hn\/l\/deZenl4) where there’s always a good selection available right up until race day. Sometimes you can find them at lower prices as well, plus there are lots of one day ticket options available.\n\nI’ve bought all my F1 tickets through StubHub over the last few seasons and have had a positive experience dealing with them each time. Their FanProtect guarantee is great for peace of mind too, as it ensures your tickets and money are safe.\n\n[Singapore GP tickets](https:\/\/stubhub.prf.hn\/l\/deZenl4)\n\n- Tickets include free rides on the Singapore Flyer observation wheel\n- Tickets include access to all Zones 1, 2, 3 & 4 which you can walk about freely, and you can access every stage for all of the [Singapore F1 concerts](https:\/\/oversteer48.com\/f1-singapore-concert\/) with this ticket.\n- This is one of the more expensive grandstands at the Singapore GP.\n\nSkyline Grandstand seating plan\n\nThe full seating plan for this grandstand will be available soon.\n\nThe grandstand will have row numbers which start at 1 (front, lowest down) and increase the higher up in the stand you go.\n\nSeat numbers are likely to increase from left to right as you sit in the stand and look at the track.\n\nSkyline Grandstand view\n\nAs this grandstand is close to the edge of the track, you feel like you can almost touch the cars as they come past.\n\nBut being inside the circuit, the views are pretty limited. to your right you’ll see the cars exit Turn 17, and to your left you’ll see them as they approach Turn 18. Being low own and looking along the fence line makes it hard to see the cars approaching or dissapearing, so really you’re limited to watching them fly past you then following the rest of the action on the TV screen opposite.\n\nBest seats in the Skyline Grandstand\n\nBeing new it’s hard to say which seats will be best or worst. I’d always go for higher seats to get a better vantage point, so choose the highest row numbers possible.\n\n[Singapore GP tickets](https:\/\/stubhub.prf.hn\/l\/deZenl4)\n\nIs the Skyline Grandstand a good place to sit?\n\nHonestly, for the very limited view you get from here, considering how expensive this stand is I would avoid it if possible.\n\nInstead, have a look at the [Bayfront grandstand](https:\/\/oversteer48.com\/bayfront-grandstand-singapore-f1\/) which is on the other side of the track at Turn 17. You get a much better view, see the cars for a lot longer, get the same all-Zone access and it’s a LOT cheaper.\n\nNearest entrance & MRT station\n\nThis grandstand can be accessed from Gate 2 or Gate 8. Best seats in the Skyline Grandstand Being new it’s hard to say which seats will be best or worst. I’d always go for higher seats to get a better vantage point, so choose the highest row numbers possible. Singapore GP tickets Is the Skyline Grandstand a good place to sit? Honestly, for the very limited view you get from here, considering how expensive this stand is I would avoid it if possible. Instead, have a look at the Bayfront grandstand which is on the other side of the track at Turn 17. You get a much better view, see the cars for a lot longer, get the same all-Zone access and it’s a LOT cheaper. Nearest entrance & MRT station This grandstand can be accessed from Gate 2 or Gate 8. Gate 8 is a little closer, but from both gates you’ll have to cross the track at one of the nearby bridges to get to the stand on the inside of the circuit. It includes videos of the views from this grandstand, plus my tips on choosing the best seats, ticket information and more. #### Contents ## Skyline Grandstand location The Skyline grandstand is on the inside (left-hand side) of the circuit between turns 17 and 18, directly in front of the Singapore Flyer observation wheel (behind the stand). The Singapore Grand Prix held at night, but some support races and practice sessions take place earlier in the day time and at dusk, so it will be hotter during those. It’s always very humid in Singapore and there’s a strong chance of it raining. So if you still want tickets, I’d recommend [buying tickets through StubHub,](https://stubhub.prf.hn/l/deZenl4) where there’s always a good selection available right up until race day. Sometimes you can find them at lower prices as well, plus there are lots of one day ticket options available. I’ve bought all my F1 tickets through StubHub over the last few seasons and have had a positive experience dealing with them each time. The grandstand will have row numbers which start at 1 (front, lowest down) and increase the higher up in the stand you go. Seat numbers are likely to increase from left to right as you sit in the stand and look at the track. ## Skyline Grandstand view As this grandstand is close to the edge of the track, you feel like you can almost touch the cars as they come past. But being inside the circuit, the views are pretty limited. to your right you’ll see the cars exit Turn 17, and to your left you’ll see them as they approach Turn 18. After that you’ll lose them out of sight.
