Please upgrade. **🍂 Memory** Our Wellness Center recently brought in a new exercise machine. It looks like a small escalator. The steps keep rolling downward, as I climb upward against them. One of the members quickly gave it a nickname. “Mt. Everest.” Of course, I had to try it. Anything different usually catches my attention. For several weeks I have been dealing with a lingering cough from bronchitis. Nothing seemed to help much. It just persists. Now, after three days of climbing that little “mountain,” something surprising is happening. My cough is beginning to improve. The machine forces a rhythm. Step after step, breathing deeper than usual, drawing air all the way into the lungs. I am beginning to realize that the steady climbing is doing something my body needs. Standing there on that moving staircase, another thought comes to me. Did the Lord know this was exactly what I needed? Did He know that if something new appeared at the Wellness Center, I would naturally try it simply because it was different? And did He quietly place it there, knowing it would help me breathe better? ### 🪞 Reflection I think God’s care is often quieter than we imagine. We tend to think of His help arriving through dramatic answers or obvious miracles. Yet much of His provision comes through ordinary things placed along the path of our daily lives. A machine in a fitness center. A moment of curiosity. A few deeper breaths. None of it looks spiritual at first glance. Our Heavenly Father knows the small details of our lives just as surely as the large ones. He knows our weaknesses, our habits, and even the little things that will catch our attention. Sometimes His help is already waiting for us long before we realize we need it. Like a staircase that suddenly helps me breathe better. “Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.” — Matthew 6:8 ### 🙏 Prayer Lord. Thank You for caring about the small details of my life. You know my needs before I speak them. Help me notice the quiet ways You provide for me each day. Open my eyes to Your care, even in the ordinary places of life. And remind me that nothing in my life is too small for Your attention.
