One epacket Apr 6 arrived in 44 days. One UBI from May 17 arrived in 16 days (the one item I didn't care if delayed). Not sure why Ali standard is still using epacket when UBI seems relatively quick. What really annoys me more than the delay is that the items are supposedly shipped Out but when it comes close to the “dispute” date, I all of the sudden get a email from the seller stating that they have extended the cut off date . And then it’s followed up by another email stating , “ good news,your item has shipped”. What the hell? Was my item not shipped a month ago? I have about 7 orders right now and the date is coming close again for the cut off. I fully expect them to extend it again. When I would file a dispute and the seller's evidence is their tracking number, they would always win because the AliExpress people said I had to go to Canada Post to get a document stating I haven't received my package. One epacket Apr 6 arrived in 44 days. One UBI from May 17 arrived in 16 days (the one item I didn't care if delayed). Not sure why Ali standard is still using epacket when UBI seems relatively quick. What really annoys me more than the delay is that the items are supposedly shipped Out but when it comes close to the “dispute” date, I all of the sudden get a email from the seller stating that they have extended the cut off date . And then it’s followed up by another email stating , “ good news,your item has shipped”. What the hell? Was my item not shipped a month ago? I don't know if they can just keep extending it indefinitely but time ran out on both of them eventually.   \n I opened a dispute on both and asked for a refund. First seller had no issues and immediately agreed to a full refund. The second seller tried pulling the \"oh well go check your post office to see if they have your parcel there\". After I continued asking for a full refund they just straight up said \"no refund and no returns\".   \n I declined that \"proposal\" and AliExpress intervened. I have about 7 orders right now and the date is coming close again for the cut off. I fully expect them to extend it again. Sellers would keep extending the protection date. When I would file a dispute and the seller's evidence is their tracking number, they would always win because the AliExpress people said I had to go to Canada Post to get a document stating I haven't received my package. What?? I don't think Canada Post does that. One epacket Apr 6 arrived in 44 days. One UBI from May 17 arrived in 16 days (the one item I didn't care if delayed). Not sure why Ali standard is still using epacket when UBI seems relatively quick. What really annoys me more than the delay is that the items are supposedly shipped Out but when it comes close to the “dispute” date, I all of the sudden get a email from the seller stating that they have extended the cut off date . And then it’s followed up by another email stating , “ good news,your item has shipped”. What the hell? Was my item not shipped a month ago? Already opened dispute as sellers did not want to extend buyer protection so I hope it all gets cleared up eventually. When it comes to expectations I do have a small in with people that work in a warehouse that deals with these deliveries in GTA and Vancouver and based on them they are more backlogged they have ever seen. Like they have trucks full of things from retailers like Ali express just sitting in around as there are not enough people to break up the skids and get items to Canada post / other courier services. A few days back and they told me there was a week they did not even touch any of these deliveries as there is no way to get it all done. Already opened dispute as sellers did not want to extend buyer protection so I hope it all gets cleared up eventually. When it comes to expectations I do have a small in with people that work in a warehouse that deals with these deliveries in GTA and Vancouver and based on them they are more backlogged they have ever seen. Like they have trucks full of things from retailers like Ali express just sitting in around as there are not enough people to break up the skids and get items to Canada post / other courier services. A few days back and they told me there was a week they did not even touch any of these deliveries as there is no way to get it all done. One epacket Apr 6 arrived in 44 days. One UBI from May 17 arrived in 16 days (the one item I didn't care if delayed). Not sure why Ali standard is still using epacket when UBI seems relatively quick. What really annoys me more than the delay is that the items are supposedly shipped Out but when it comes close to the “dispute” date, I all of the sudden get a email from the seller stating that they have extended the cut off date . And then it’s followed up by another email stating , “ good news,your item has shipped”. What the hell? Was my item not shipped a month ago? I understand the delays but since they extended the cut off date to dispute,I can’t file a dispute. And what is up with everyone now charging shipping when most never charged shipping in the past? Ya my first 2 items the sellers kept extending the date until I guess they couldn't any more? I don't know if they can just keep extending it indefinitely but time ran out on both of them eventually. I opened a dispute on both and asked for a refund. First seller had no issues and immediately agreed to a full refund. The second seller tried pulling the "oh well go check your post office to see if they have your parcel there". After I continued asking for a full refund they just straight up said "no refund and no returns". I declined that "proposal" and AliExpress intervened. They immediately sided with me and I got my full refund. Thanks I’ll wait some more and see how much more they extend The time. I have about 7 orders right now and the date is coming close again for the cut off. I fully expect them to extend it again. What's interesting is that the 2 on April 23 had 60 days buyer protection guarantee and the one on April 26 had 90 days. Sellers would keep extending the protection date. When I would file a dispute and the seller's evidence is their tracking number, they would always win because the AliExpress people said I had to go to Canada Post to get a document stating I haven't received my package. What?? I don't think Canada Post does that. Already opened dispute as sellers did not want to extend buyer protection so I hope it all gets cleared up eventually. When it comes to expectations I do have a small in with people that work in a warehouse that deals with these deliveries in GTA and Vancouver and based on them they are more backlogged they have ever seen. Like they have trucks full of things from retailers like Ali express just sitting in around as there are not enough people to break up the skids and get items to Canada post / other courier services. A few days back and they told me there was a week they did not even touch any of these deliveries as there is no way to get it all done. One epacket Apr 6 arrived in 44 days. One UBI from May 17 arrived in 16 days (the one item I didn't care if delayed). Not sure why Ali standard is still using epacket when UBI seems relatively quick. They immediately sided with me and I got my full refund. What's interesting is that the 2 on April 23 had 60 days buyer protection guarantee and the one on April 26 had 90 days. Sellers would keep extending the protection date. When I would file a dispute and the seller's evidence is their tracking number, they would always win because the AliExpress people said I had to go to Canada Post to get a document stating I haven't received my package. What?? I don't think Canada Post does that.
