Readable Markdown	Following the cancellation of [Euro 2020](https://en.as.com/tag/eurocopa_2020/a/) last summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tournament will finally get underway a year later, kicking off on Friday June 11 with the group A clash between Turkey and Italy at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. For the first time ever there is no single host country, instead the tournament's 51 fixtures will be played across 11 host cities, with London’s Wembley Stadium set to host the semi-finals (6//7 July) and final (11 July). Although, of course, there is a chance that all three will go through depending on results in other groups as the three best third-placed teams will qualify for the round of 16.
