Crandall was very professional and helpful when I requested upholstery samples. No issues with shipping which arrived on the earlier end of what was quoted. Assembly was simple and instructions were easy to follow. Reused parts are in good condition with minor wear only noticeable upon close inspection such as scuffs and marks on the base\/knobs that are typical with standard use. Chair is very comfortable and adjustable. Very similar to the factory leap v2 I have at work (minus headrest at work) in terms of comfort and upholstery quality. Comfortable for the entire work day when I work at home. I think the thicker seat foam is a nice addition, but its very close in feel for me withou having them next to each other. They could have lasted longer, but I wanted to refresh the chair with a new color as I prepared to move into a new place. I am very pleased with how it looks like a brand new office chair. The only issue I had was that the vinyl arm-rest pads started cracking after the first year so I think they last about two years before you should replace them. A.Y. 04/12/2026 Steelcase Leap Full Chair Upholstery Service + New Foam Seat Pad A Great Adjustable Chair I bought a remanufactured leap v2 with a platinum color frame, black brisa polyurethane upholstery, and the matching atlas headrest for about $1040 after tax and shipping. Crandall was very professional and helpful when I requested upholstery samples. No issues with shipping which arrived on the earlier end of what was quoted. Assembly was simple and instructions were easy to follow. Reused parts are in good condition with minor wear only noticeable upon close inspection such as scuffs and marks on the base/knobs that are typical with standard use. Chair is very comfortable and adjustable. Very similar to the factory leap v2 I have at work (minus headrest at work) in terms of comfort and upholstery quality. Comfortable for the entire work day when I work at home. I think the thicker seat foam is a nice addition, but its very close in feel for me withou having them next to each other. Headrest is a very expensive but worthwhile addition imo, but I like to lean back a lot. Very happy with the chair I received. I learned about the company after an exhaustive hunt for the perfect office chair to replace my current cheap and aging chair. I had heard of companies that refurbish Steelcase chairs, but the ones I had looked at before had one issue - no headrest. Of course there was no original headrest from the manufacturer, but I thought surely someone in the refurbishing business would get on that. So the fact that Crandall collaborated with Atlas on a purpose-made headrest for their refurbished Leap v2 chairs was really the selling point for me. Everything else, from the quality of materials used, care put into refurbishing the chairs, support & assembly documentation, and extensive video catalog going over every detail of the chair, has been icing on the cake. The chair itself has been superb. This is the same chair I have at work, only this one is markedly more comfortable with the extra cushioning in the refurbed seat and thicker back pad which I opted for as well. It's something I can sit on for a long time, and not get sore. I've only had the chair for about a week and a half at time of writing, but so far I haven't found anything to complain about! If I ever need another desk chair, or need to recommend one to someone else, I will definitely be going with Crandall. I finally got a better job and my back started killing me from sitting down more than I used to. I did some research and it seemed like the Amia was the best for the buck and doubly so remanufactured by Crandall, it's cheaper with thicker padding. I can't express how much better my back feels. I have scoliosis but I don't notice all the time now. The large seat allows me to curl up my legs under me and sit cross legged while still fitting very comfortably under my desk, with enough adjustments to be comfy however I want to use it. You would swear the chair is new. Shipping was free via FedEx and it was packaged well. Assembly was easy. It is better than a new one in several ways with extra padding, very nice high-tech bio-knit fabric, and upgraded gas cylinder and casters. Best of all it is about 1/2 the price of a new one. I purchased a refurbished Steelcase Leap V2 from Crandall in order to take advantage of their 30 day free return policy. In addition, this chair has a 12 year warranty, and Crandall has a good reputation as a business. Once the chair arrived, I discovered that their video instructions to assemble my chair were clear and I was easily able to put it together. I've had the chair for 11 days. I really enjoy how thick the cushions are, yet how supportive it feels to my back/legs while sitting for hours at a time. So far, so good\! The only issue I had was that the vinyl arm-rest pads started cracking after the first year so I think they last about two years before you should replace them. The seat and back rest could last well beyond three years. Overall I think this is a good product and concept because the other components still work fine. Crandall was very professional and helpful when I requested upholstery samples. No issues with shipping which arrived on the earlier end of what was quoted. Assembly was simple and instructions were easy to follow. Reused parts are in good condition with minor wear only noticeable upon close inspection such as scuffs and marks on the base/knobs that are typical with standard use. Chair is very comfortable and adjustable. Very similar to the factory leap v2 I have at work (minus headrest at work) in terms of comfort and upholstery quality. Comfortable for the entire work day when I work at home. I think the thicker seat foam is a nice addition, but its very close in feel for me withou having them next to each other. Headrest is a very expensive but worthwhile addition imo, but I like to lean back a lot. Very happy with the chair I received. My experience with Crandall has been excellent. I learned about the company after an exhaustive hunt for the perfect office chair to replace my current cheap and aging chair. I had heard of companies that refurbish Steelcase chairs, but the ones I had looked at before had one issue - no headrest. Of course there was no original headrest from the manufacturer, but I thought surely someone in the refurbishing business would get on that. So the fact that Crandall collaborated with Atlas on a purpose-made headrest for their refurbished Leap v2 chairs was really the selling point for me. Everything else, from the quality of materials used, care put into refurbishing the chairs, support & assembly documentation, and extensive video catalog going over every detail of the chair, has been icing on the cake. The chair itself has been superb. This is the same chair I have at work, only this one is markedly more comfortable with the extra cushioning in the refurbed seat and thicker back pad which I opted for as well. It's something I can sit on for a long time, and not get sore. I've only had the chair for about a week and a half at time of writing, but so far I haven't found anything to complain about! If I ever need another desk chair, or need to recommend one to someone else, I will definitely be going with Crandall. I finally got a better job and my back started killing me from sitting down more than I used to. I did some research and it seemed like the Amia was the best for the buck and doubly so remanufactured by Crandall, it's cheaper with thicker padding. I can't express how much better my back feels. I have scoliosis but I don't notice all the time now. The large seat allows me to curl up my legs under me and sit cross legged while still fitting very comfortably under my desk, with enough adjustments to be comfy however I want to use it. Crandall was very professional and helpful when I requested upholstery samples. No issues with shipping which arrived on the earlier end of what was quoted. Assembly was simple and instructions were easy to follow. Reused parts are in good condition with minor wear only noticeable upon close inspection such as scuffs and marks on the base/knobs that are typical with standard use. Chair is very comfortable and adjustable. Very similar to the factory leap v2 I have at work (minus headrest at work) in terms of comfort and upholstery quality. Comfortable for the entire work day when I work at home. I think the thicker seat foam is a nice addition, but its very close in feel for me withou having them next to each other. Headrest is a very expensive but worthwhile addition imo, but I like to lean back a lot. Very happy with the chair I received. My experience with Crandall has been excellent. I learned about the company after an exhaustive hunt for the perfect office chair to replace my current cheap and aging chair. I had heard of companies that refurbish Steelcase chairs, but the ones I had looked at before had one issue - no headrest. Of course there was no original headrest from the manufacturer, but I thought surely someone in the refurbishing business would get on that. So the fact that Crandall collaborated with Atlas on a purpose-made headrest for their refurbished Leap v2 chairs was really the selling point for me. Everything else, from the quality of materials used, care put into refurbishing the chairs, support & assembly documentation, and extensive video catalog going over every detail of the chair, has been icing on the cake. The chair itself has been superb. This is the same chair I have at work, only this one is markedly more comfortable with the extra cushioning in the refurbed seat and thicker back pad which I opted for as well. It's something I can sit on for a long time, and not get sore. I've only had the chair for about a week and a half at time of writing, but so far I haven't found anything to complain about! If I ever need another desk chair, or need to recommend one to someone else, I will definitely be going with Crandall.
