Being a freehold condo located in the heart of the Central Business District (CBD) area, the combination of these rare features have earned Newport Residences the spot of being one of the most highly-anticipated condo launches of 2023. While it was first slated to launch in Q1 of 2023, it was later delayed to Q4 due to two reasons.
First, the recent cooling measures for private property owners that was first announced in September 2022 that led the developers to push back its delay in order to restrategise their launch. The second reason for the delay of Newport Residences’ launch is due to the
unfortunate accident
that happened on the construction site, leading to the death of a worker.
As much as Newport Residences has had its fair share of challenges before entering the market, it also has an solid factsheet for a luxury residential property.

Being a freehold condo located in the heart of the Central Business District (CBD) area, the combination of these rare features have earned Newport Residences the spot of being one of the most highly-anticipated condo launches of 2023. While it was first slated to launch in Q1 of 2023, it was later delayed to Q4 due to two reasons.
First, the recent cooling measures for private property owners that was first announced in September 2022 that led the developers to push back its delay in order to restrategise their launch. The second reason for the delay of Newport Residences’ launch is due to the [unfortunate accident](https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/structure-collapses-in-tanjong-pagar-scdf-at-scene) that happened on the construction site, leading to the death of a worker.
As much as Newport Residences has had its fair share of challenges before entering the market, it also has an solid factsheet for a luxury residential property.
