CPL Training is provided at the Air India Flying Training Academy and two global Air India partner schools
Air India Flying Training Academy is based in Amravati, Maharashtra and the other two partner schools for CPL Training are based in the United States
Type Rating will be provided at Air India-affiliated ATOs, including Air India's upcoming simulator centers in Gurugram as per Air India’s fleet requirement

AIFTA provides cadets with best-in-class training infrastructure for their ground training and flight training, in a fully residential training program.
AIFTA has 34 trainer aircraft and 3 fixed training devices, and the training program is designed to foster the airline culture among cadets from Day 1 onwards.

Air India has partnered with two flight schools in the United States to offer superior training, adhering to the highest standards. Two schools, AeroGuard Flight Training Center and Acron Aviation Academy have been chosen as partners for CPL Training with the Cadet Pilot Programme.
Financing partner
Air India has partnered with a financial institution for cadets to avail financing for training. However, cadets are free to choose any other financial partner as per their convenience.
Eligibility for Cadet Pilot Programme
Must be a citizen of India or OCI
Age eligibility: 18 to 30 years.
Shall demonstrate good command of written and spoken English
Candidates should be in good physical and mental health. Minimum height should be 158 cm.
Candidates will be required to clear a medical test (DGCA Class 1 Medical) prior to starting flight training.
Must have the following educational qualifications:
High School Education Certificate ( National Institute of Open Schooling is also accepted) with 60% in 10+2 including 60% marks in each of the following subjects English, Mathematics & Physics
Applicants may reapply after a cooling off period of three months from the date of assessment

Air India has partnered with a financial institution for cadets to avail financing for training. However, cadets are free to choose any other financial partner as per their convenience.
Eligibility for Cadet Pilot Programme
Must be a citizen of India or OCI
Age eligibility: 18 to 30 years.
Shall demonstrate good command of written and spoken English
Candidates should be in good physical and mental health. Minimum height should be 158 cm.
Candidates will be required to clear a medical test (DGCA Class 1 Medical) prior to starting flight training.
Must have the following educational qualifications:
High School Education Certificate ( National Institute of Open Schooling is also accepted) with 60% in 10+2 including 60% marks in each of the following subjects English, Mathematics & Physics
Applicants may reapply after a cooling off period of three months from the date of assessment
