For non residents this is impossible so effectively you have no access to your money and they don’t even try to help. Customer service and your “gestor” will only tell you to go to a branch. What good is a “gestor” if they make you go to a branch?Oh, and forget about getting SMS or calls for one time codes, they don’t work at all (they used to) and it’s impossible make them look into it. They give you the run around and avoid responsibility.If you are a non-resident, avoid this bank at all costs as they will take your money and won’t let you operate with it. The issue here is not with the bank, it’s with the technology they have that they say it is secure. Especially for English speakers like me. I hope they improve chat support and include real people and not just a robot. I hope the option to verify with my email instead of my phone number is an option soon. As I don’t always keep my numbers, due to the nature of my business which keeps me traveling. - If you change your iPhone, the only way to be able to operate digitally with a new app is activating it physically in a CaixaBank branch. For non residents this is impossible so effectively you have no access to your money and they don’t even try to help. Customer service and your “gestor” will only tell you to go to a branch. What good is a “gestor” if they make you go to a branch?Oh, and forget about getting SMS or calls for one time codes, they don’t work at all (they used to) and it’s impossible make them look into it. They give you the run around and avoid responsibility.If you are a non-resident, avoid this bank at all costs as they will take your money and won’t let you operate with it. The issue here is not with the bank, it’s with the technology they have that they say it is secure.
