Esa noche, un centenar de estudiantes acababan de tomar cinco autobuses en Iguala cuando fueron atacados por policĂas vinculados al crimen organizado. Casi la mitad de ellos fueron detenidos en distintos puntos y luego desaparecieron. AdemĂĄs hubo seis muertos y mĂĄs de 40 heridos.
La violencia continuĂł contra los que quedaron y contra una treintena de estudiantes que llegĂł de apoyo, como MartĂnez, con varios tiroteos en distintos momentos que convirtieron la ciudad del estado de Guerrero en un infierno.
MartĂnez tenĂa 20 años esa noche, era alumno de tercero en Ayotzinapa y sabĂa cĂłmo actuar en los choques con la policĂa.
AceptĂł volver a los lugares donde estuvo la noche del 26 de septiembre de 2014, comprometido con que se haga justicia por un crimen todavĂa sin resolver.
Este es su recuento de los hechos.
9:30 p.m.
Comienzan a golpear las puertas de los dormitorios porque los compañeros que fueron a Iguala tienen problemas. MartĂnez agarra el celular y una playera para cubrirse la cara y se sube a una de las dos camionetas que salen para esa ciudad, a 120 km al norte de la escuela.
10:00 p.m.
La carretera esta vacĂa. En un cruce, a unos 15 km de Iguala, hay una camioneta atravesada con hombres armados. âAl ver eso ya vimos que no iba a ser fĂĄcilâ.
El estudiante que va manejando pregunta nervioso quĂ© hacer. MartĂnez escucha cĂłmo cargan cartuchos. Les apuntan. âAquĂ quedamosâ, piensa. "ÂżPara quĂ© vine?â
El conductor acelera y pasa el retĂ©n. Nadie se explica por quĂ© no les disparan. âMarquĂ© a la normal y les dije âno vengan... Hay narcosââ.
Los celulares arden entre los compañeros que piden ayuda y los que quieren saber qué pasa.
10:20 p.m.
Al pasar bajo el puente junto al Palacio de Justicia, en la entrada de Iguala, ven un autobĂșs vacĂo: âDeshecho, las llantas ponchadas, las cajuelas abiertas, los vidrios rotosâ. Ven que es uno de los que tomaron sus compañeros pero no se detienen.
La camioneta sigue a toda velocidad hacia la terminal de autobuses. Se cruzan con cinco o seis estudiantes de primero corriendo en esa misma direcciĂłn. Los reconocen por el pelo rapado. Cuando dan la vuelta para recogerles han desaparecido.
DĂas despuĂ©s, les cuentan que huyeron hacia el monte porque se acercaba una patrulla. Iban en un autobĂșs que parĂł cerca del que vieron destrozado y fueron bajados a la fuerza por policĂas federales. Ese fue el conocido como quinto autobĂșs que nunca se localizĂł y que, segĂșn la ComisiĂłn de la Verdad, tomaron por error sin saber que podĂa llevar droga o dinero.
Los videos de las cĂĄmaras de seguridad del Palacio de Justicia nunca aparecieron pero los investigadores confirmaron la participaciĂłn de agentes federales y que, a unos metros de ese puente, habĂa un militar en una moto tomando fotos. En este lugar es detenido un grupo de los estudiantes desaparecidos.

Llegan a la terminal. Preguntan por el lugar que sus compañeros les dieron como referencia de dĂłnde estĂĄn. Los taxistas dicen que tienen prohibido ir allĂ. Como ya saben que hay alumnos detenidos, barajan la posibilidad de capturar a policĂas para intercambiarlos pero descartan la idea enseguida debido al nivel de violencia que perciben.
11:00 p.m.
DespuĂ©s de recorrer el centro, localizan otros tres autobuses baleados. AhĂ estĂĄn parte sus compañeros, llorando. A otros se los habĂa llevado la policĂa. âNo podĂan asimilar lo que habĂa pasandoâ.
MartĂnez entra en uno de los autobuses. âHabĂa charcos de sangre, playeras, los sillones con balazos, se veĂa muy feo. EsperĂĄbamos una autoridad pero nadie llegabaâ.
Reina la confusión. No saben cuåntos detenidos hay, ni donde estån muchos de sus compañeros. Llegan noticias de nuevos tiroteos en otro punto de la ciudad, donde mueren tres personas sin relación con los estudiantes.
Quieren resguardar el lugar âpara que no se llevaran los autobuses o los casquillosâ y que haya pruebas. Deciden llamar a periodistas locales.
12:30 a.m. del 27 de septiembre
Mientras hablan con la prensa, MartĂnez se separa del grupo para hacer una foto al lugar donde un alumno fue alcanzado en la cabeza. Se lo habĂan llevado al hospital antes de llegar Ă©l creyĂ©ndole muerto, aunque sobreviviĂł. QuedĂł en coma.
Una camioneta roja se acerca despacio. âCuando yo le tomo la foto al charco de sangre y volteo... se bajaron algunos individuos de negro, uno se hincĂł, primero disparĂł una rĂĄfaga hacia el aire y luego empezaron a dispararâ contra estudiantes y periodistas que se dispersan en medio del pĂĄnico.
âMe quedĂ© como en shock, una reportera se tropezĂł conmigo, nos caĂmos al sueloâ. MartĂnez se esconde tras una rueda. âCorranâ. Un joven huye solo en direcciĂłn contraria a los demĂĄs.
Cuando cesan los disparos, pide a gritos una ambulancia para un herido en la mandĂbula. âLe iba escurriendo la sangreâ. Nadie llega asĂ que lo cargan y una mujer les indica que hay un hospital cercano: âMĂ©tanse ahĂ... los van a matarâ.
En el lugar, quedan dos estudiantes muertos aunque ellos todavĂa no se ha dado cuenta.

Un grupo de alumnos entra a la clĂnica, aunque las enfermeras no querĂan, sientan al herido y apagan las luces.
MartĂnez y otro compañero suben a la azotea para ver si les siguen. Marca a su padre para despedirse âpor si ya no volvĂaâ.
Llegan dos camionetas del ejĂ©rcito. El compañero de MartĂnez quiere saltar desde la azotea al ver entrar a los soldados. MartĂnez se lo impide y le dice que lo peor que les puede pasar es que se los lleven al cuartel. Su amigo, originario de Iguala, le contradice. Le dice que militares, narcos y policĂas âson los mismosâ y que los van a matar.
Los militares reagrupan a todos los estudiantes en la parte baja y les obligan a poner los celulares sobre la mesa. Si suenan deben poner el altavoz y responder que estĂĄn bien sin decir dĂłnde.
Los militares reciben una llamada. Sacan una libreta. Les dicen que vendrĂĄ la policĂa por ellos y que âanoten su nombre verdadero porque, si no, nunca los van a encontrarâ.
MartĂnez entra en pĂĄnico.

El ejĂ©rcito se va antes de que llegue la policĂa y todos huyen. MartĂnez y otros compañeros convencen a un taxista de que lleve al herido al Hospital General y luego echan a correr hasta que alguien de una casa cercana les abre una puerta. Hay unos 30 estudiantes escondidos ahĂ.
âMe metĂ entre un depĂłsito de agua y un lavadero. EncontrĂ© un rosario de madera y me lo puseâ.
Una mujer se lleva a MartĂnez y a otros cinco a una segunda casa. Nadie duerme.
05:00 a.m.
Los estudiantes empiezan a llegar al Palacio de Justicia para que les tomen declaraciĂłn. Un grupo sale a buscar a los que no aparecen. No hay ni rastro de ellos.
A muchos celulares llega una fotografĂa: la del cadĂĄver de Julio CĂ©sar MondragĂłn, el joven que habĂa huido tras la conferencia de prensa en sentido contrario. Tiene el rostro arrancado.

IGUALA, MĂ©xico (AP) â Ulises MartĂnez no estĂĄ cĂłmodo moviĂ©ndose por Iguala, la ciudad mexicana donde hace 10 años desaparecieron 43 de sus compañeros de la escuela Normal Rural de Ayotzinapa.
Esa noche, un centenar de estudiantes acababan de tomar cinco autobuses en Iguala cuando fueron atacados por policĂas vinculados al crimen organizado. Casi la mitad de ellos fueron detenidos en distintos puntos y luego desaparecieron. AdemĂĄs hubo seis muertos y mĂĄs de 40 heridos.
La violencia continuĂł contra los que quedaron y contra una treintena de estudiantes que llegĂł de apoyo, como MartĂnez, con varios tiroteos en distintos momentos que convirtieron la ciudad del estado de Guerrero en un infierno.
MartĂnez tenĂa 20 años esa noche, era alumno de tercero en Ayotzinapa y sabĂa cĂłmo actuar en los choques con la policĂa.
AceptĂł volver a los lugares donde estuvo la noche del 26 de septiembre de 2014, comprometido con que se haga justicia por un crimen todavĂa sin resolver.
Este es su recuento de los hechos.
## 9:30 p.m.
Comienzan a golpear las puertas de los dormitorios porque los compañeros que fueron a Iguala tienen problemas. MartĂnez agarra el celular y una playera para cubrirse la cara y se sube a una de las dos camionetas que salen para esa ciudad, a 120 km al norte de la escuela.
## 10:00 p.m.
La carretera esta vacĂa. En un cruce, a unos 15 km de Iguala, hay una camioneta atravesada con hombres armados. âAl ver eso ya vimos que no iba a ser fĂĄcilâ.
El estudiante que va manejando pregunta nervioso quĂ© hacer. MartĂnez escucha cĂłmo cargan cartuchos. Les apuntan. âAquĂ quedamosâ, piensa. "ÂżPara quĂ© vine?â
El conductor acelera y pasa el retĂ©n. Nadie se explica por quĂ© no les disparan. âMarquĂ© a la normal y les dije âno vengan... Hay narcosââ.
Los celulares arden entre los compañeros que piden ayuda y los que quieren saber qué pasa.

Al pasar bajo el puente junto al Palacio de Justicia, en la entrada de Iguala, ven un autobĂșs vacĂo: âDeshecho, las llantas ponchadas, las cajuelas abiertas, los vidrios rotosâ. Ven que es uno de los que tomaron sus compañeros pero no se detienen.
La camioneta sigue a toda velocidad hacia la terminal de autobuses. Se cruzan con cinco o seis estudiantes de primero corriendo en esa misma direcciĂłn. Los reconocen por el pelo rapado. Cuando dan la vuelta para recogerles han desaparecido.
DĂas despuĂ©s, les cuentan que huyeron hacia el monte porque se acercaba una patrulla. Iban en un autobĂșs que parĂł cerca del que vieron destrozado y fueron bajados a la fuerza por policĂas federales. Ese fue el conocido como quinto autobĂșs que nunca se localizĂł y que, segĂșn la ComisiĂłn de la Verdad, tomaron por error sin saber que podĂa llevar droga o dinero.
Los videos de las cĂĄmaras de seguridad del Palacio de Justicia nunca aparecieron pero los investigadores confirmaron la participaciĂłn de agentes federales y que, a unos metros de ese puente, habĂa un militar en una moto tomando fotos. En este lugar es detenido un grupo de los estudiantes desaparecidos.

## 10:30 p.m.
Llegan a la terminal. Preguntan por el lugar que sus compañeros les dieron como referencia de dĂłnde estĂĄn. Los taxistas dicen que tienen prohibido ir allĂ. Como ya saben que hay alumnos detenidos, barajan la posibilidad de capturar a policĂas para intercambiarlos pero descartan la idea enseguida debido al nivel de violencia que perciben.
## 11:00 p.m.
DespuĂ©s de recorrer el centro, localizan otros tres autobuses baleados. AhĂ estĂĄn parte sus compañeros, llorando. A otros se los habĂa llevado la policĂa. âNo podĂan asimilar lo que habĂa pasandoâ.
MartĂnez entra en uno de los autobuses. âHabĂa charcos de sangre, playeras, los sillones con balazos, se veĂa muy feo. EsperĂĄbamos una autoridad pero nadie llegabaâ.
Reina la confusión. No saben cuåntos detenidos hay, ni donde estån muchos de sus compañeros. Llegan noticias de nuevos tiroteos en otro punto de la ciudad, donde mueren tres personas sin relación con los estudiantes.
Quieren resguardar el lugar âpara que no se llevaran los autobuses o los casquillosâ y que haya pruebas. Deciden llamar a periodistas locales.
## 12:30 a.m. del 27 de septiembre
Mientras hablan con la prensa, MartĂnez se separa del grupo para hacer una foto al lugar donde un alumno fue alcanzado en la cabeza. Se lo habĂan llevado al hospital antes de llegar Ă©l creyĂ©ndole muerto, aunque sobreviviĂł. QuedĂł en coma.
Una camioneta roja se acerca despacio. âCuando yo le tomo la foto al charco de sangre y volteo... se bajaron algunos individuos de negro, uno se hincĂł, primero disparĂł una rĂĄfaga hacia el aire y luego empezaron a dispararâ contra estudiantes y periodistas que se dispersan en medio del pĂĄnico.
âMe quedĂ© como en shock, una reportera se tropezĂł conmigo, nos caĂmos al sueloâ. MartĂnez se esconde tras una rueda. âCorranâ. Un joven huye solo en direcciĂłn contraria a los demĂĄs.
Cuando cesan los disparos, pide a gritos una ambulancia para un herido en la mandĂbula. âLe iba escurriendo la sangreâ. Nadie llega asĂ que lo cargan y una mujer les indica que hay un hospital cercano: âMĂ©tanse ahĂ... los van a matarâ.
En el lugar, quedan dos estudiantes muertos aunque ellos todavĂa no se ha dado cuenta.

## 01:00 a.m.
Un grupo de alumnos entra a la clĂnica, aunque las enfermeras no querĂan, sientan al herido y apagan las luces.
MartĂnez y otro compañero suben a la azotea para ver si les siguen. Marca a su padre para despedirse âpor si ya no volvĂaâ.
Llegan dos camionetas del ejĂ©rcito. El compañero de MartĂnez quiere saltar desde la azotea al ver entrar a los soldados. MartĂnez se lo impide y le dice que lo peor que les puede pasar es que se los lleven al cuartel. Su amigo, originario de Iguala, le contradice. | Readable Markdown | IGUALA, MĂ©xico (AP) â Ulises MartĂnez no estĂĄ cĂłmodo moviĂ©ndose por Iguala, la ciudad mexicana donde hace 10 años desaparecieron 43 de sus compañeros de la escuela Normal Rural de Ayotzinapa.
Esa noche, un centenar de estudiantes acababan de tomar cinco autobuses en Iguala cuando fueron atacados por policĂas vinculados al crimen organizado. Casi la mitad de ellos fueron detenidos en distintos puntos y luego desaparecieron. AdemĂĄs hubo seis muertos y mĂĄs de 40 heridos.
La violencia continuĂł contra los que quedaron y contra una treintena de estudiantes que llegĂł de apoyo, como MartĂnez, con varios tiroteos en distintos momentos que convirtieron la ciudad del estado de Guerrero en un infierno.
MartĂnez tenĂa 20 años esa noche, era alumno de tercero en Ayotzinapa y sabĂa cĂłmo actuar en los choques con la policĂa.
AceptĂł volver a los lugares donde estuvo la noche del 26 de septiembre de 2014, comprometido con que se haga justicia por un crimen todavĂa sin resolver.
Este es su recuento de los hechos.
## 9:30 p.m.
Comienzan a golpear las puertas de los dormitorios porque los compañeros que fueron a Iguala tienen problemas. MartĂnez agarra el celular y una playera para cubrirse la cara y se sube a una de las dos camionetas que salen para esa ciudad, a 120 km al norte de la escuela.
## 10:00 p.m.
La carretera esta vacĂa. En un cruce, a unos 15 km de Iguala, hay una camioneta atravesada con hombres armados. âAl ver eso ya vimos que no iba a ser fĂĄcilâ.
El estudiante que va manejando pregunta nervioso quĂ© hacer. MartĂnez escucha cĂłmo cargan cartuchos. Les apuntan. âAquĂ quedamosâ, piensa. "ÂżPara quĂ© vine?â
El conductor acelera y pasa el retĂ©n. Nadie se explica por quĂ© no les disparan. âMarquĂ© a la normal y les dije âno vengan... Hay narcosââ.
Los celulares arden entre los compañeros que piden ayuda y los que quieren saber qué pasa.
## 10:20 p.m.
Al pasar bajo el puente junto al Palacio de Justicia, en la entrada de Iguala, ven un autobĂșs vacĂo: âDeshecho, las llantas ponchadas, las cajuelas abiertas, los vidrios rotosâ. Ven que es uno de los que tomaron sus compañeros pero no se detienen.
La camioneta sigue a toda velocidad hacia la terminal de autobuses. Se cruzan con cinco o seis estudiantes de primero corriendo en esa misma direcciĂłn. Los reconocen por el pelo rapado. Cuando dan la vuelta para recogerles han desaparecido.
DĂas despuĂ©s, les cuentan que huyeron hacia el monte porque se acercaba una patrulla. Iban en un autobĂșs que parĂł cerca del que vieron destrozado y fueron bajados a la fuerza por policĂas federales. Ese fue el conocido como quinto autobĂșs que nunca se localizĂł y que, segĂșn la ComisiĂłn de la Verdad, tomaron por error sin saber que podĂa llevar droga o dinero.
Los videos de las cĂĄmaras de seguridad del Palacio de Justicia nunca aparecieron pero los investigadores confirmaron la participaciĂłn de agentes federales y que, a unos metros de ese puente, habĂa un militar en una moto tomando fotos. En este lugar es detenido un grupo de los estudiantes desaparecidos.

Llegan a la terminal. Preguntan por el lugar que sus compañeros les dieron como referencia de dĂłnde estĂĄn. Los taxistas dicen que tienen prohibido ir allĂ. Como ya saben que hay alumnos detenidos, barajan la posibilidad de capturar a policĂas para intercambiarlos pero descartan la idea enseguida debido al nivel de violencia que perciben.
## 11:00 p.m.
DespuĂ©s de recorrer el centro, localizan otros tres autobuses baleados. AhĂ estĂĄn parte sus compañeros, llorando. A otros se los habĂa llevado la policĂa. âNo podĂan asimilar lo que habĂa pasandoâ.
MartĂnez entra en uno de los autobuses. âHabĂa charcos de sangre, playeras, los sillones con balazos, se veĂa muy feo. EsperĂĄbamos una autoridad pero nadie llegabaâ.
Reina la confusión. No saben cuåntos detenidos hay, ni donde estån muchos de sus compañeros. Llegan noticias de nuevos tiroteos en otro punto de la ciudad, donde mueren tres personas sin relación con los estudiantes.
Quieren resguardar el lugar âpara que no se llevaran los autobuses o los casquillosâ y que haya pruebas. Deciden llamar a periodistas locales.
## 12:30 a.m. del 27 de septiembre
Mientras hablan con la prensa, MartĂnez se separa del grupo para hacer una foto al lugar donde un alumno fue alcanzado en la cabeza. Se lo habĂan llevado al hospital antes de llegar Ă©l creyĂ©ndole muerto, aunque sobreviviĂł. QuedĂł en coma.
Una camioneta roja se acerca despacio. âCuando yo le tomo la foto al charco de sangre y volteo... se bajaron algunos individuos de negro, uno se hincĂł, primero disparĂł una rĂĄfaga hacia el aire y luego empezaron a dispararâ contra estudiantes y periodistas que se dispersan en medio del pĂĄnico.
âMe quedĂ© como en shock, una reportera se tropezĂł conmigo, nos caĂmos al sueloâ. MartĂnez se esconde tras una rueda. âCorranâ. Un joven huye solo en direcciĂłn contraria a los demĂĄs.
Cuando cesan los disparos, pide a gritos una ambulancia para un herido en la mandĂbula. âLe iba escurriendo la sangreâ. Nadie llega asĂ que lo cargan y una mujer les indica que hay un hospital cercano: âMĂ©tanse ahĂ... los van a matarâ.
En el lugar, quedan dos estudiantes muertos aunque ellos todavĂa no se ha dado cuenta.

Un grupo de alumnos entra a la clĂnica, aunque las enfermeras no querĂan, sientan al herido y apagan las luces.
MartĂnez y otro compañero suben a la azotea para ver si les siguen. Marca a su padre para despedirse âpor si ya no volvĂaâ.
Llegan dos camionetas del ejĂ©rcito. El compañero de MartĂnez quiere saltar desde la azotea al ver entrar a los soldados. MartĂnez se lo impide y le dice que lo peor que les puede pasar es que se los lleven al cuartel. Su amigo, originario de Iguala, le contradice. Le dice que militares, narcos y policĂas âson los mismosâ y que los van a matar.
